Inside SNL Star Chloe Fineman’s Paris-Inspired New York Home | Open Door | Architectural Digest

- Today AD is welcomed to New York City by Chloe Fineman for a look inside her Paris-inspired home. The Saturday Night Live star first fell in love with her West Village apartment when filming a job in the same building-and as if meant to be, a month later it was hers. With the help of her sister Emma and designer Tali Roth, she dove headfirst into decorating her space opting for an eclectic, feminine vibe. Chloe invites the luxurious vibes of Paris into her cozy rental through rich velvets, fine linens, and romantic colors-creating a softness that compliments the original exposed brick and crown moldings throughout. The particular charms (and constraints) of living in Manhattan aren’t lost, however: Chloe’s oven is primarily used to store wigs. “I was a cook at the beginning when I moved into this apartment. And then it got scary where I was like, I'm going to burn this apartment down. So now my oven is mostly wig storage.”

We need more REAL, honest profiles like this AD!
And please give a plug for her amazing and talented sister Emma! ❤
No link for the Etsy pillow Lol ??
Can yall get Actress Skai Jackson to do one?
Which paint color did she use in the pink room
This is genuinely THE most realistic house I think I’ve ever seen on AD
That’s correct I agree
Literally need more like this
Except that it’s in the West Village 😭
I wish they'd talk about "noise," like how much noise can she hear upstairs, downstairs, next door neighbors through walls, and outside. Because the video made it sound so silent. I live in a nice apartment but I hate how I can hear the people downstairs yapping sometimes
Writers strike be like
I absolutely love how she's carrying around that giant Shiba Inu like it's a tiny little Chihuahua. That's hilarious.
I love that she named her Peach 🍑 ❤
Peach is really chill for a Shiba Inu. She's like a ragdoll in Chloe's arms.
Cedar Milan would say Chloe needs therapy and let’s save the dog too. Soo sad that ya’ll see it as cute. It’s more like mental abuse for dogs. But if you are an American we call it cute.
@@serenitywaterz5385 First off, it’s Cesar Millan. Second, settle down Francis.
@@serenitywaterz5385 Mental abuse for dogs? 😆
I love how invested she is in her sisters art career.
The reference to Dakota Johnson's AD house tour with the limes literally had me LAUGHING LOUD! hahahahhah she's hilarious
I had to search the comments to see if anyone else also picked up on that reference, lol!
I was wondering what that was about. But very funny!
Limes, limes, limes. I just love limes. LOL.
What is super funny is that in my place I really do keep a pile of lemons and limes à la Dakota. I'm a vegan and a meal is not a meal without lemons and limes
@@tosca... water is not water without a squirt of lemon juice in it.
This is definitely one of the most entertaining and fun tours AD ever made. Some one in AD team is starting to think differently and realistically and it’s paying off for sure .
She's very likable. I've always thought she was funny on SNL, but it's cool to see she's down to earth off script.
LOLOL
Carrying her dog, obsession with velvet, the limes call back, what seems to be a parking ticket in her junk drawer. Loved everything about this video.
This is the first AD tour that I could really relate to, especially the not-baking-using-it-for-storage part. MORE OF THIS. I'm so tired of houses/apartments that don't look lived in.
I agree!
so agree!!
At least one person comments this on every single architectural digest tour
@@naialeehendricks k
@@naialeehendricksbut This one definitely takes the cake, like… wigs in the oven? Remote controls and wires in a kitchen cabinet? Even regular people don’t like like that 😂
This is the realest and the most fun open door video ever. LOVE HER !!!!!
SNL cast member
It really is, I laughed soo hard. I look forward to seeing more of her!
I'm in France so perhaps it's cultural, I don't have the slightest idea of who she is, but I truly thought her attitude was horrible 😂
I love that she said "this is the part we didn't quite get to" in the kitchen, because she was furiously painting and cleaning and decorating that place until the second the doorbell rang just like the rest of us would be! Best AD tour ever!
I honestly do not know this woman but I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! 👏 It's like catching up with a friend. She has this quirky personality, humble, and she's a Taylor Swift fan which I ❤. Loved the entire place for her as it definitely shows her personality.
She's been on a few tv shows, but she's mostly known for being on the cast of SNL and does celebrity impressions.
She's the wedding organizer in The Father of the Bride movie. Love it!
@@user-cp5js2be1vno she isn’t she’s Jewish.
Really? I had to turn the sound down so that I could watch to the end.
@@kellymadison48 she is both!
Only having one dinner party because the dog is bad is the most relatable thing I've heard on an AD tour.
Honestly the best AD EVER! As a New Yorker her apartment is a dream and she is sooo real. She is my spirit animal. Chloe we love you!
This was truly an entertaining tour. I love Chloe Fineman in SNL. I’m so happy to see that some of the personality of her characters is just the real her!
The only thing that gets me is the scientology 😭😭
@@user-cp5js2be1v Sensitive soul, aren't you?
This may be my favourite tour yet, not only because of how unpretentious she is, but the fact that she managed to style her place the way she wanted to, within the limits that she's been given
“She’s got indented nipples, which I had as a child. Fun fact. And I relate to her.”
I have never loved an @architectualdigest tour more! I love everything about this place!
Limes, limes, limes, limes….
“The feeling I want when people enter this apartment is riiiIICHH” lol
This was so refreshing to watch lol. I personally don’t mind that it’s always very obvious that the celebrities has their cleaners do a through clean and staged so many things, but it’s nice to see a more realistic tour 😂
First time EVER commenting on a video because wow that was my favorite AD tour ever. So human - showcasing a stunning apartment that is realistic and lived in. Loved the Dakota Johnson limes reference too 😂
She's so fun, I love how she's like "This is a rental, probably the first one on AD" LOLLL
Ahhhhhahha the Dakota Johnson limes lollllllllll
Exactly what I thought the moment I saw them
I get the feeling she planned it 😂
I looked for this comment 🤣
This is the first house tour I’ve watched in this series where I found myself smiling all throughout. And her opening her drawers I was so shocked cause my drawers are the SAME hahah
I thought of my junk drawer too!
Chloe personality is everything....pure positive energy. Her apartment is lovely.
Despite the fact that this apartment's rent and the contents within it are still too far out of reach for me, it feels relatable. I love it.
I applied for the same apartment and spent months obsessing over it so I immediately recognized it. So now I guess I know where Chloe Fineman lives 😂
P.S. Don’t ask me, I’m not going to dox her ❤
would you be willing to share how much the rent was?
@@AthalieM The price was about what you would pay for a 1.5-2 bed in downtown Manhattan. However, it was listed at 50% less compared to similar apartments in the neighborhood, which I’m sure is one of the key reasons why there was so much demand for it. Definitely high in general, but not a ridiculous celebrity price.
@@AthalieM Also I think this was three years ago, so prior to New York’s crazy post pandemic rent inflation.
I love that she’s just casually carrying around her shiba.
First of all, she had me when she opened the door holding the dog. I feel as if Peaches is full of shenanigans and the only way to contain her is to hold her. I'm here for it. Also, she is hilarious asf and relatable. The brick and the bed were my fave elements. And that Le Mer on the shelf...I stan. I see you, Chloe, lol!
I appreciate y'all showing homes that are somewhat realistic. Quite refreshing, keep it up!
I like that this tour is not sanitized. Makes it relatable for the rest of us.
One of my favorite tours EVER!!!!!! Keep up this style, AD
10 minutes and 40 seconds of me slowly becoming obsessed with Chloe Fineman
I love her on SNL and I love her apartment. It is so classy and fun! Beautiful fabrics everywhere! I will stop yelling now. Oh, and I love that sassy, adorable, bad dog of hers.
Love that she snuck the lime bit in there. She is so fun and her taste is exquisite!
Finally! AD profiled someone who actually is as funny and charming as they think they are. Love her. 🌠
Chloe's tour is giving me upscale, French Redman-on-MTV-Cribs vibes and I LIVE. So real. So relatable!
Don’t really watch snl but this house tour was really fun and just feels genuine. Love how humble this is compared to the extravagant celebrity houses we’ve seen on AD.
Love it, felt so unfiltered/real life .. can’t say how much I appreciated that. BRB storing my wigs in the oven. 😂
The end part in the kitchen is the first time I've ever laughed out loud during an AD video. My respect for her has skyrocketed.
I need to see this kitchen in every AD video. RELATABLE CONTENT
Watched this while having my morning coffee and already my day is so much brighter and uplifted. Such a beautiful cozy apartment and Chloe is hilarious. Comments are spot on!
Love how her dog is passed out on her. So adorable.❤
shes adorable and her sisters artwork is beautiful
I hope AD does more tours of not so rich celebrities with imperfect spaces.
This was the most authentic AD houses like …. Ever ?
She’s also hilarious
THIS WAS THE BEST AD HOUSE TOUR IVE EVER SEEN
I don't know her too just like other people leaving comments here but her personality is very jolly, and loving. She actually showed the mess on AD. I want to see more of her
It's always nice when the art matches the rug.
A very enjoyable host and house. There needs to be a spinoff series where she goes to flea markets to look for fun items for her house. She’s personable and humorous, and her house reflected her casual elegance. Enjoyed her tour
love that even though it's a huge, gorgeously renovated apt, she still has the classic pre-war bathroom with blue tile! mine is almost exactly the same with yellow tile lol
Charming! Chloe and the decor. Holding her dog like a toddler 😂. 100% adorbs 🥰
But why is the now my favorite AD tour ever! I cracked up and I do really love her place. The practicing i mirror scene, the trashed kitchen corner and creaky door are so me! I also love velvet and mohair, a girl after my own heart. ❤
There was so much I can relate to! Now I'm watching this video to pick up design ideas. I accidentally decorated my living room in brick colors and now I have a name for it! Thanks, Chloe!
This was absolutely my favorite Open Door so far!!!!!!!!!!!! obsessed with Chloe and her NY Parisian castle
Please do more of this. I love her taste, her apartment is so stylish and interesting. Plus the design is still aspirational yet achievable in a more realistic size space for most of us. I adore what she did in her tiny bathroom.
I love her decorating style and her fabulous sense of humor! Fun tour! ❤
This is by far THE BEST AD TOUR!!! Love her style and she so fun to watch!
This apartment is STUNNING and holy smokes your sister is talented!!
I love her style and also that she actually opened some cabinets! haha I want to see inside everyones cabinets!
I love her! Also her dog was totally judging her when she said she calls her apartment the ‘Chlotel’. 😂
Omg he was 😅
inspired. her sister is talented and Chloe (along with her designer Tali Roth) knows just what and how to showcase her talent! i loved looking into the drawers!!! the first tour i have ever laughed with and wanted to watch again. Briick.
Seriously one of thee best house tours ever. This is how real people live especially in the kitchen, we all those drawers filled with things we forgot we had😂pure fun watching it. Love her Livingroom
Seeing her messy cabinets made my day, that's a real house!
I love Chloe Fineman's, she has that sense of humor that I love.
Chloe is the best! Entertaining, funny, realistic. This was my most favorite AD Tour so far!
That lime reference though 😂
When we panned to the kitchen and she started opening up her drawers and cabinets, I started dying laughing
Her house is a cat’s paradise with her tassels addiction. 😻
The Dakota limes callback!! 😆funniest AD tour for sure. Love her style!
do you know something? all the contents of AD are perfect, but this one is particularly authentic, very real and natural. I was fascinated
She’s amazing. Love her. Love her energy.
She is really funny. Her realness shines through her apartment.
she has become one of my favorite members of SNL cast. hope they all come back soon after this writers strike. she is super funny and cute
Chloe and Beck’s AD tours make me happy
Love her personality and love how realistic this was ❤
Chloe is so likable, sweet, beautiful and talented!!
A rental...yay,I can relate even though her rent could buy my box lol, beautiful and tastefully decorative 😊.
This was so amazing. Cloe showing the mess in kitchen and the drawers is not common at all on AD. that house and kitchen has been lived and it was a pleasure to watch this episode.
Chloe is a treasure and I adore her. Comedic intelligence is truly amazing
Love her style, modern and classic at the same time. And soo cozy... Also love her art pieces. Keep up like this AD
Lmao!! This is my favorite episode. She's the greatest. Also, let's meet this sister of hers. I laughed many times and now I don't feel bad for leaving dishes in my sink, forgetting to drink my smoothies, or washing my face in the kitchen.
I LOVE the honesty and the fact she made it her place with sense of purpose and humour
Love her sense of humor ❤
Adore these realistic house tours, makes the viewers feel relatable. Lovely Chloe!
That bathroom tile!!! I love when people embrace the beautiful vintage tile
The best and most relatable AD video I've ever seen. Loved that she showed us her kitchen drawers and cupboards. Thanks Chloe!
Even though her apartment is millions of dollars, this is the most relatable one you guys have ever uploaded.
BEST AD tour ever. She's delightful and hilarious! Oh and her apt is beautiful.
The dog is the real star of the show ❤
I have no idea who this young woman is but she is real!! We all have messy drawers but she showed hers on AD……. LOVE IT ❤
Love all the character in this space, so cosy 💖
She brings so much chaotic energy I love her 😂
This woman 👩 is an absolute joy!
She is simply adorable. Could listen to her voice for hours on end. When she carries that dog around it looks like a SNL skit…
This just shows, big isn't always better! This apartment is so cosy!
I love the bedroom! It’s so warm. I wanted to curl up for a nap.
Love seeing the realistic side of these fancy homes! More like this please! :)
First AD Tour that I wish I could upvote more!
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard watching one of these. My partner and I were like buckled over by 5:28 😂
She is an absolute comedic genius 👏❤
Because of this show, I have limes on my dining room table.
I’ve been AD ed, you’re welcome.
