I've only recently discovered Philomena Cunk. It's amazing. It seems like Barry Shitpeas gets similar lines, but the delivery is so much less clever. Diane Morgan really seems to know how to time her pauses to land jokes better.
The thing about most winner movies being about men is still true 8 years later. There's probably a bunch of old rich white men making decisions on who wins 😅
Cunk laughs at everyone. She loves laughing at us British. She truly is a National treasure, though she will hate being seen as such. Britain is good at comedy, rubbish at politics.
