Therapist reacts to couples saying yes to marriage

- With this Masters degree I got I decided to watch Riah and Trey, Ryann and James, Antonio and Roxanne, and judge them. ! Should Ryann and James stay together? What did I think of James after dark? Watching someone get hit on national TV does that mean that someone is an abusive relationship. Lisa and Brian had a baby but what do I as a black woman think. Kat says she is not weak do I believe her. Alex is honest but is he an asshole. What are my thoughts on riah saying yes to trey. And lastly Do I as a therapist think Roxanne and Antonio are still together. So many burning questions. Let's get into it as I react to these couples saying yes.

yeah i reallllly hated lisa putting her hands on brian. like you could tell he was so embarrassed in front of the group and he still went to go after her because he cared so much. ugh my heart just broke for him.

Roxxane and Antonio need to be SEPARATED immediately. Antonio through out his trial marriage with Kat, from what we seen, he soley talked about his insecurities. He wants her to say "i love you" but she never does. Roxanne need to realize work is not everything, saying that she wants Antonio to step up...but apparently he hasnt done that in the course of the years of them dating, and she still dating him? LIKE WHAT YALL WAITING

I feel like Riah and Trey needed to part ways tbh, not forever but at least until Riah figured herself out. It sounded like Riah needed room to figure out who she was and what she wanted as a woman on her own. She clearly wanted different from him and neither of them were willing to do long distance so them getting engaged reallyyyy surprised me.
That part! I was like Riah go do you girl!
Can you imagine one of these men hitting one of these women? We would've watched said man in handcuffs. I hate that double standard.
Lisa is holding that man for hostage due to her money, she sorta control him and it looks sad. I'm sure he would have gone for Riah because she is very respectful and kind, money is not everything. Roxanne is scared of leaving the relationship but she's not happy with who she is with but because of her bossy attitude, she has failed to make it work with other successful men because they possibly not allow her to walk all over them, so she comes back to Antonio. Riah and Trey, they aren't bad, they respect each other but will have to both compromise somehow.
I appreciate you saying ryann and james were your favorite cuz there were a lot of instant negativity about them being high school sweet hearts even tho they genuinely seemed to love each other. Thoroughly enjoyed this!

There was a physical altercation btwn a black male and female on season 1. We also had dv issues after on the queer season. There’s hella abuse in the history of this show. Can’t wait for love is blind
Oh I don’t remember that from season 1. Can you remind me? I do remember the altercation between was it tiff and their partner? I don’t believe it aired cause it happened between filming and the reunion but it also wasn’t addressed 🤦🏾♀️ but then again the host of the queer season SUCKED! Also love is blind is my shit 😂.
@@Theshaniproject Ray and Zay like halfway thru he stays out all night and they get into it we only see the beginning and aftermath but that sticks out in my mind. And yah tiff and I can’t remember the ex’s name. I hope we get a great love is blind cast!!
