The way Paul’s mom is basically an older version of Micah… low key relieved that Paul didn’t pull a Sigmund Freud.
I was just going to say something about this! When he picked Micah during their season I didn't understand it at all. After hearing his mom I realize he subconsciously went for what's familiar to him. 🥺

i get the sense that Paul's mom doesn't like Paul's autonomy and that's why she needs Paul to marry her likeness. It's awful.
Paul’s mom knows that Paul doesn’t really need anyone; that’s why the push to marry Micah; he’s reserved and Paul’s mom is just saying what she thinks is best for her son

It really made me concerned for Paul's future wife. She's going to be... something else.
They just both similar types; they get along cause there communication styles are nearly identical; just like when someone hits it off with random stranger; yeah it’s true; Paul picked Micah because he saw the similarities between his mom and Micah; but they are not the same; his mom is way more nurturing than Micah will ever be. Paul is extremely smart for seeing that. Micah is a gravy train chaser. The opposite of nurturing and caring. She wanted someone to care for her in the ways of money, clout, time and resources.
No Jackie, you don’t always have to side with your man even if he’s wrong! Because… he’s wrong! Hold your own partner accountable for their wrongdoings otherwise you’re enabling and a bystander for the bad behavior and actions.

The wildest part of Josh calling Monica a clout chaser is that she never said his name in her original post. She talked about how her engagement just wasn't right so she ended it. I'm pretty sure it was internet sleuths and whoever that found out it was Josh. Anyways Jackie is suffering with that man but she's too far in and too prideful to admit she made a mistake.

This one was hard to crack but I got it. Kwame is growing tired of Chelsea fast. She is domineering over him and he’s feeling like he has no control but he needs to repair the relationship with his mother to realize he doesn’t need some women telling him how to live his life. Him and Chelsea are opposites which why they spur competition in each other and also try to fix each other. Chelsea is so closed minded she doesn’t realize that it’s not a good match. He knows but feels powerless to do anything about it. It’s a little weak but actually he’s just repeating his relationship with his mom. Telling what to do and trying to fit into this mold they want kwame to fit in. This relationship won’t last unless Kwame heals his relationship with his mother which is not happening very easily so yeah they’ll break up soon once he realizes he has no control and rebels against Chelsea
I am happy that the couples are still together and in love. It was a breathe of fresh air. I love all the couples. I am happy Marshall has a serious relationship.
I hate when people say that they side with someone to mean I will accept their bad behavior. Defend them in public but call them out on their bad behavior in private.

This was by far the best video commentary I have seen about this season. It was indeed uneventful but still more entertaining that ultimatum season 2. Jackie and Josh are part of the doom squad. But wishing them the very best whatever that may be. Oh well, one season more to go soon.

I liked it, everyone was finally normal and just happy in bliss. The love part was good and I like how some are really close friends. The only weird people was the already weird people, Micah and her friends and Jackie and josh… immature and weird.
Micah’s friends love to bash Paul for being different ; and Paul could care less; that’s why they hate him; like you’re not the one marrying him; Paul and Micah are the perfect pair but Micah is just not caring enough; she will leave him at the first sign of trouble; like that’s why she keeps asking if Kwame and Chelsea are ok. She will turn on you in a hot second. Because she changes her mind constantly. She want’s everything easy and she won’t stick it out.
