If they're going to a prequel that ends in the black water massacre, and judging how they treat the main antagonist in the red dead series, it's going to have to be about the Callender Bro's. @@loganleciago5663 Agreed, Dutch is a cool character, it would be interesting to see how he became the way he did. They left a lot of lore out there for it to, Annabelle, his fallout with the Colm O'Driscoll, meeting Hosea, Arthur and John, etc.
I do think they should go that route, plus it would it knock it back further in time, and they could perhaps play around with some post Civil war content being that his dad died in it, Indian nation run-ins, etc. I really think they should make New York be the major cit, as it would be epic or run around mid to late 1800's New York.
It would be a nice way to wrap up the Trilogy, and make it sort of the Dutch Trilogy when all is said and done.

From Van der Linde origin to blackwater massacre might be the main storyline for another red dead game with a different protagonist who died saving the gang at the end with in the blackwater.. they might build up a new character out of nowhere like that of arthur.. and that'd be lit 🔥

Is egar to take a more intrical part of the crew. Kills a bunch of bad guys, gets revenge for her husband's death. Is still hurt, makes a unbreakable bond with Arthur, saves the crew from the Pinkertons, saves Abigail and kills more Pinkertons and finishes with a life of bounty hunting. Awesome character development

You got it wrong, only 1 died durring the shootout. Sean and Mac got caught and the pinkertons killed Mac interrogating him. Davey got shot and died during the trip to the Grizzlies. Common man its all in the game.

This just goes to show that when times are good, Dutch can preach his morals and seems like a good guy, but in times of crisis, he shows who he really is.
there is no fake dutch. all we saw was dutch, he wasn't always a inhumane coward, he was a person given the wrong cards but he kept playing. the anxiety and guilt of blackwater has overtaken him every time he messed up and someone dies bc he plays the fools gambit, that's when he started to self destruct

No one thought that a prequel to RDR would've worked and yet here we are. Yes, another prequel for RDR3 as Dutch, or even Hosea, with Arthur as a teen or even Marston as a child like Jack could be amazing. A REAL western like you said. However, I am also keen to see Jacks story after killing Ross.

@Scorpion Stings Jenny is the only gang member to die IN blackwater. Mac and Sean kinda escape but we know that Sean is caught and by the time the Pinkertons catch up with Mac, he's basically dead already. Milton interrogates him and then kills him.
Fat Pancake Jenny Kirk DID NOT die in Blackwater and neither did Davey lol they were both fatally injured and succumbed to their wounds before the gang could reach colter which is why Jenny was buried in spider gorge which is really really close to colter Mac was the only one that we know who could have potentially died in Blackwater..John was also shot but he didn’t have a fatal wound like Jenny & Davey so conclusion Davey & Jenny died as a result of the Blackwater massacre but they didn’t die during the Blackwater massacre so please learn your lore before making a comment also as for Mac he could’ve died during interrogation but Milton says when he came across Mac he was shot up really bad Milton also says his death was slow but merciful meaning he probably let him die of his wounds or Milton himself finished him off

Very well-done, dude. I really hope Rockstar does more with this. It would be awesome to play as Arthur again and relive this heist. It would be even cooler to a prequel to RDR2 that takes place long before, and maybe you play as Dutch and build the gang up and prosper.
Arthur wasn't at the Black Water heist. He and Hosea were elsewhere working on a different job.

Great video man, thanks! Ever since I completed the game the first time, I've really wanted them to either give us a DLC or even RDR3 set even further back than RDR2 so we really get to see more backstory, character growth and finally what went down in Blackwater. Who knows if we'll ever get anything, but they placed so much emphasis on Blackwater that it wouldn't make sense to NOT go back and fill in the blanks. I guess we just wait and see!

Hosea* And he also predicted Dutch becoming a careless murderer in RDR1, relentlessly killing anyone who stands in his path for money, which he tries to hide in RDR2.

I think Heidi died because she was taken hostage by Dutch so the gang could get out, the eye wouldn’t pop out unless she was shot in the side of the head which would only be possible if she was taken hostage a gun being held up to her head. And the brains got plastered on the wall sideways because the gun was so close.

It hasn't answered all the questions like when Micha told John he's got the money from blackwater when john collect the money he only has $20,000 and that includes all of Micha's gangs robberies and also the blackwater money. So wheres the other $130,000

I picked this game up last year and put it down because I found it a bit overwhelming, especially with the controls and I died a lot easier than I expected. Picked it back recently and gave it another chance, started all over and I’m addicted to it. Even if I’m not playing any missions to advance the story, I like just looking around and discovering new things.

I hope for the next game it's another prequel where we see how the van der linde gang start out and this time you get two players Arthur again I think it should show when Hosea and Dutch first met all the way up to when we play as young Arthur and instead of him being as grumpy as he is he's more relaxed personally I think this makes sense because the first game was set at the very end with John Marston capturing former Gang members and getting his Redemption the second game starts out with them on the Run losing there cool and being more obvious basically becoming incompetent and desperate along with Dutch and his non-existent plan but the 3rd game should be when the Gang forms and then when they are in their Prime committing Train Robbery bank robberies without the law being down on them so quickly and they are more competent and able to get away with crimes and the end credits scene should show the Blackwater massacre in it's entirety

I absolutely fell in love with buel he was my favorite horse and I was distraught once I was in the final moments in game and he was killed. Then of course Mr Morgan topped it off in the saddest way. Rock star should make a DLC about the Blackwater massacre. Make new missions and what Dutch did. Cut scene: Dutch holding a young girl hostage. Bill, Javier, and John holding up hostages. Second scene: the massacre begins. See Davey get shot, sean get knocked out, Mac makes a run. The whole gang makes a run for it while the streets are raining bullets. Third scene: where they left the money and which way they flead off too. Now that would be a great DLC.

I know what this game needs, another DLC that takes place in Blackwater that would give players an idea of what exactly went down and a chance to know the dead characters you don't see in the game.
