      I played soccer with Abedi when he was at Green Hill. He was a trailblazer, but not the best player ever in Ghana. He is the African footballer of all time, footballer of the centuries and on the global sphere, he is one of the greatest of all time! It was unfortunate that Ghana could not qualify for the world cup, and plus the unfortunate back and forth on his carrier, he would have won the world best player! True that the sons didn’t…and unfortunately couldn’t. The sons, except for Rahim, are born in France, and therefore had an easier path…perhaps even softer than their dad, and most likely even less psychologically motivated due to many more options being available to them…and not having to struggle as much as dad. Plus, genetics between father and sons are not exact or same. I think it’s unrealistic to expect offsprings to be copies of their parents….and also not factor conditions and times also being different. Plus, the competition is also stiffer and better when the sons are playing.

    One of the first to win it not the first to win it. Basile Boli from Ivory Coast who scored the winning goal

    • @TwizaNkosi
      @TwizaNkosi  Před 2 měsíci +1

      True! Boli had French citzenship and played for France national team but he was born in Abidjan, so yes, they both won it toghether... thank you for the great reminder!! other african players, like Madjer, won it before that, but it was not UEFA champions league yet, had a diferent name and format.

      Boli and Dasailly played for France, if you didn't know.
      So they both didn't count for Africa, they were players for France.
      Very kindly do not bring this unnecessary hatred for to this side too.
      YES, Abedi Ayew Pele is the first African player to have won the Champions League and paved the way for a lot after him. (yes Boli and Dasailly were Africans and won the cup on the same eve as and with Abedi, but these two were French nationals whilst Abedi remained Ghanaian and African).
      I guess you learnt some things of football legalities.
      Cheers mate!

      Basile Boli jouait pour la France. Bien qu'il soit noir il ne jouait pas pour une équipe nationale africaine. Boli n'a jamais joué de CAN. Écoute bien donc le commentaire

    We are sorry for the cut at minute 19:52 ... video was blocked due to copyright. Pelé made this assist that you can see and the game ended 1-0 for Marseille. They won their first and only champions league.

    The best Africa has ever produced indeed.
    His 1992 AFCON performances are still fresh on my mind when he scored a magical header against Nigeria in semi final but he missed the final match against Ivory Coast due to accumulated of yellow cards which most pundits believed Ghana would have won that trophy if he has played in the final match.
    The best of it all is when his semens (spermatozoas) produce three footballers too by names Rahim Ayew, Dede Morgan Ayew and Jordan Ayew but the three sons couldn't match to his dazzling skills, technics, speed, passing and power ( over all talent) on the ball.
    A true legend indeed and we must preserve his sperms to produce more footballers 😂 before he pass on
