I watched both of them trust me R9 was something else. Specially before his major injuries he was ridiculously talented, it was unfair to his oppenents. Besides, if Ronaldo had same conditions with Messi i bet he would score more goals than Messi. Ronaldo had a harder destiny. Ronaldo was the definition of gifted, he was tall , janky and balanced, he was strong as insanely quick, so agile and smart, if he didn't get that many injuries or get hypothyroidism, there wouldn't be a debate for the greatest ever, i myself believe that even with Messi, Cristiano, Pelé, Maradona, Di Stefano, Puskas, Ronaldinho, abd the others playes . Ronaldo still is the greatest ever.

the reason why i like ronaldo and most people like him was his ability to get the ball in front of the defensive line, penetrate it, and then get the shot away. apart from his speed and superb finishing, these was one of his most impressive attributes. you do not see strikers do that these days. they are programmed like robots in academies. "get the ball, play it wide, and run into the box."

Like Ronaldo at Corintians, Ronaldinho also was still really good when he was playing at Flamengo and Atlético Mineiro when he left Europe, Marcelo and Felipe Melo just won the '' champions league '' equivalent for Fluminense on South America and Cristiano Ronaldo is still doing the best in Saudi league. So no, leaving Europe does not mean your carreer is over nor does mean youre not a good player anymore . Best 9 i've ever seen in my life Ronaldo. amazing dance at world cup 98 . Absolutely everything he did was magic, but what always stuck out to me was his acceleration. He would he jogging or nearly standing still and then be gone and if you anticipated that he'd hit a skill or power through lol. But that first stride he takes just doesn't even look real.
He was at his best at Inter. If you were to ask a super computer to create the best ever striker the result would be R9.
