PELE WAS THE BEST AND HERE IS THE PROOF.
    1. He could score with either leg. He scored over 1,000 goals, goals of all types, colors and shapes. From outside the box, inside the box, volleys, scissor kicks, diving headers, soft, hard, over the goalie's reach, upper corner, lower corner. You think of it, he did it.
    2. He was excepcional with headers. He would usually out jump taller defenders. He was like a fish in midair, able to get higher once he jumped. Observe carefully his header-goal against Italy in the finals of the World Cup México 1970.
    3. Physically, he was impecable. Strong, fast, quick, powerful, with remarkable endurance.
    4. Technically, Pelé was masterful. His control was awe inspiring. Pelé made it look easy, natural, joyous. He could dribble past a cloud of defenders like a hot knife through butter.
    5. Tactically, Pelé had no flaws. He would move knowingly on the field, commanding his teammates, understanding where they would be, occupying spaces, opening the game as needed. Watch him control and blindingly pass the ball to Carlos Alberto for Brazil's fourth goal in the final against Italy in the World Cup México 1970. Simply delicious!
    6. He was courageous. Most of the time, when he stepped on the field, Pelé was a marked man. Teams would have their top defender shadow him constantly. He played most of his career without the benefit of the disciplinary cards, they were instituted in 1970, Pelé's last World Cup. The referee's "culture" of the time, allow for much more rough play. Pelé learn to defend himself against tough defenders and never backed down.
    7. Pelé played on fields that were not the best by today's standards. The ball would bounce here an there, responding to the unevenness and holes on the field. It was much more difficult to make a good pass, much more difficult to control the ball and yet, Pelé shone with the light of a genius.
    8. Pelé won many national titles, international titles and the World Cup three times. He is still today the youngest player to play in a World Cup final (17 years old at Sweden 1958) and score (two goals).
    9. Finally, Pelé was FIFA's best ambassador of the game. An example for the youth of the future and most decent human being. And who could beat that smile?
I saw him score the most remarkable goal I have ever witnessed...
Lima was all up in a buzz as the news spread like wild fire about the arrival of Santos of Brazil with Pelé. Santos was going to play against Alianza Lima the Peruvian champion. The excitement increased as Alianza announced the hiring of an Uruguayan defender named Souza just for the match. Souza's job, of course, was to shadow Pelé all game long. Alianza paid Souza the enormous amount (in those days) of $500 dollars just for the one game, all other expenses (travel, stay, etc.) covered. It was summer, so the game was going to be played at night at the "Estadio Nacional." As the game progressed, Souza, a tall, black, strong and agile player was doing a very good job of shadowing Pelé. Souza, being from Uruguay, was schooled in the ways and manners of their style of play. That is, all nonsense and as rough as the referee would allow and more.
It was almost half time, Pelé was next to the touch line near midfield watching his goalie kick the ball long and high. As the ball fell towards him, Pelé smoothly chess trapped it and allow it to roll down onto the field in front of him. Souza jumped on the ball but Pelé was first. With his back towards Souza, Pelé heeled the short bounce of the ball over Souza's head. Fast as lightening, Pelé turned around, his eyes riveted on the ball as it was falling down passed Souza. He quickly realized that Villanueva, Alianza's goalkeeper, about forty meters away, was way out of his line. In a flash, Pelé volley the ball. It described a laser like parabola over the surprised humanity of Villanueva and into the back of the net! It was magnificent! Extraordinary! Amazing! An instant hush fell all over the stadium, as if all those human minds needed time to really process and accept was they had just witnessed. And then, then, everybody stood up and applauded and applauded and applauded. I still can hear them.
Father, may you rest in peace, thank you for taking me that night to the stadium. Your loving son, always.
Pelé, Pelé WAS AND IS THE BEST!

    PELE WAS THE BEST

This shows how daft and biased you are to think the only player who shouldn't be placed above R9 is Cristiano but you accept that Messi is better than PELE and Maradona? There's only one KING of the game, the very first global star of the game, first Millionaire, one of the biggest athlete of his time. A great player who dedicated so much for Football, KING PELE. He did it all first, the very first who did the moves and the skills. Won the most WC and won his first at the age of 17. A player who had more than 1,300 goal contributions as a second striker and a midfielder. Messi is only better than Maradona with career, I don't think there's what Diego couldn't do with the ball. These are players who played when there's terrible pitches and poor medical care for players and you're here thinking the likes of Messi/Ronaldo are better? R9 would have been placed among the likes of Pele/Maradona/Messi and Cristiano if not for injuries. He was the finest young player I've ever seen till date. When following football, take your emotions and preferences away and be real. Cristiano is the greatest professional ever despite all the hatred from people like you. If you don't respect him for his talent, you can't do but respect him for his numbers and records en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_career_achievements_by_Cristiano_Ronaldo .... Go console yourself

Pele is the greatest. Won the world cup at 17 years. Won all 3 tournaments that he participated in. Dominated. The awards, systems, media coverage didn't exist in his day.. And he never played in a European league but beat any team that was invited to play against him. Golden balls are awarded by opinions... And many of them, including last year, were questionable. If messi is the greatest because he finally won a world cup, why isn't mbappe in the conversation, as the only other star player to have won the world cup as a teenager in 2018. He and Pele are the only 2! Yet he isn't mentioned! And neither did he win a golden ball. They gave it to modric that year.

First thing first, it was a good video bro but I have 2 issues: 1. If you call it anything other than football then it automatically looses value 2. You added many ancient players so I think Puskas should be included.
After watching the whole video I went through the comment section and realized something deep. No. 1 is Messi for me, guys who are crowning Pele I won't argue because I haven't seen enough to agree or disagree. Because of an Argentine supporter I have my bias to Messi and Maradona obviously. But many of you guys doing the same thing what I used to do 2-3 years ago, hating CR7. I remember once I said Bale or Neymar is better than CR7 just to undermine him. But guys I remember those crazy seasons Messi passed from 2008, goals after goals, assists, dribbles, passes, 91 goals in a year... nobody came close to him. Only and only CR7 challanged him just with goals, which isn't an easy task because Messi scored 50-60 goals for many seasons. Yeah, if you ask me whether R9 or Ronaldinho was better at their peak, I understand. I love Ronaldinho Gaucho always will. But the sacrifice to be physically that fit to score and perform that long should matter. I think if that alien didn't exist we'll all be crowning CR7. Besides Messi & Maradona CR7 is very good, he proved himself against toughest opponents over and over again.

They were god tier players. Especially R9 & Maradona. Only 2 players made pele and maradona scared of their legacy to the game. R9 & Messi because of how good they were in their prime. Especially Messi. Insane human. He was publicly criticized by Pele and Maradona non stop. And we know why. It was in an interview during the 90s Pele poured out his feelings about R9 and how he was already too good to even consider a human and etc.. Maradona joined in when interviewed as well. This was public back in the 90. R9 was so popular he was use as a political campaign in Brazil back in the 90s. In his prime he was an inspiration to many worldwide including Zlatan Ibrahimović, CR7 and many others today.
CR7 is good but not on the level of those 3. You mentioned success, apart from Instagram followers the only thing he has right now are goals and Erling Haaland & Jude Bellingham are both coming for his ass. Jude already destroyed one last week right? Same with haaland last season. In terms of Credible Individual trophy and trophies in general, he is behind Messi. he himself said on Piers Morgan how important golden boot and Ballon d’Or is to him. Good effort but the list is okay at best. This list should include the likes of the following players instead of Ronaldinho10 and Ronaldo9 or perhaps Alfredo Di Stefano:
    - Giuseppe Meazza
    - spearheaded 2x WC champions Italy in 1934 and 38
    - invented the dipping / knuckle ball kicking technique
    - was an excellent passer, playmaker and a fantastic dribbler
    - Mathias Sindelar
    - one of the greatest players of all time, a pioneer at dribbling. there are videos of him doing the in-step over and body feints from back in the 20s and 30s. He used score goals dribbling past goalkeepers back in 20s and 30s way before R9 ever even thought of started doing it.
    - a very good passer and playmaker.
    - fast, completely 2 footed and had a pretty powerful shot even though he was so thin
    - A total footballer. He was essentially Johan Cruyff before Cruff himself in terms of his playmaking, plus he had a very potent shot too. Matthias Sindelar, skill-wise, is arguably the greatest, most complete player of all time.
    - Jose Manuel Moreno
    - part of the legendary River Plate side that was called the "La Maquina" or the Machines, considered the best club team in the world back then. Charro Moreno was the best player of this side. Don Alfredo Di Stefano was also part of this team for a good part of his career in South America and he learned a lot from Moreno and the other senior players of the team, the likes of Adolfo Pedernara and Angel Labruna.
    - Moreno was a superb dribbler of the ball and had one of best ball controls of all time, arguably better than the likes of Maradona as well.
    - Moreno generally played as a classic no 10 or playmaker but he was a very good goalscorer too.
    - there was no World Cup in his time so too bad he did not play, but he did win the Copa America on multiple occasions.

I wouldn't say that as the rules of the game where harder, the ball wasn't a beach ball and the defense were fiercer in Maradona's era. I can state easily that Messi wouldn't have last really long in his era, his game not being hard enough.

Just because Maradona and Pelé won the world cup does not mean that they are better than Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo won more trophies than the both of them combined and has more goals than both of them. I think number 2 is a great spot for CR7.

CR7 is top-15, maybe borderline top-10 in the history of football. He hasn't won the World Cup, unlike Maradona and Messi who pretty much single-handedly won it for Argentina. His dribbling skill and ability to assist are both below the average of a top-10 player. He could not make his teammates play better. Rather, he relied on his teammates' help to play better.
