Cats and babies are smarter than you might think. And adult humans are dumber than you might think.
Thats what i liked the most about it and that animals can do this without any words. :)
Animals are amazing. They are always watching, guarding, paying attention to so much more than we know. What a good cat.
The cat was trying to convey a message to him. He wasn't scratching him with his claw. He kept his claw in and kept using only his pads to get his hand off the sledge of the balcony 😞. Cats are caring and loving.

Dude yes
I've had mine for several years my first cat and he literally is like a child and absolutely thrives on the attention I give him and bond formed between us two. He's a sensitive boy but I can often see him responding to my voice, expressions and mood and absolutely loving and giving the same back ten fold
It really is amazing to see. when we are in close communication is when he is at his happiest :)

This cat is showing a lesson to all parents!!! Cat is better than many out there😂
Looked at you first before taking action like, "Ugh I'm the only adult around here. Swear I gotta do everything myself!"
LOL!
Cats are born to be supervisors. Usually dogs are greatly relieved by not having to think so much, but humans, in theory more intelligent, often enjoy being managed, too. I suspect if the human's Mom had been taking the video, we would have heard her caution the baby. She would know there is a security mesh but the baby wouldn't understand that yet. She might have let the cat act, but us viewers would know Mom would spring into action if needed. Dad may be one of those parents who thinks "Just throw him in the pool, he needs to learn how to swim some day..."

@@Pughhead what do u mean? what do u think is happening
@@dwightschrute7985 cat could be playing.
@@Pughhead Yes the cat does have a concept of danger.
How many cat's have you owned in your life? Cats are pretty stupid animals; I have owned 16 cats in my lifetime. They rarely have concept of danger to themselves let alone a 3rd person. I know everyone thinks - and wants - the cat to be doing this out of care for the kid... but in reality the cat is just playing with the kids hands. Certain dog breeds will have the intelligence to understand the danger to the kid in this situation, but never a cat. Sorry to burst your bubble.
I am amazed not only by the cat's stare at the adult first and then realized that it should do something to protect the kid, this kind of act is normally seen with dogs. This is a great cat.
Cats are very protective too. Just google. They’re great heroes, and are probably the most misunderstood pets of all time..just because their affection is subtler than the slobbering of a happy dog.
I have an affectionate outsider cat. She visits daily in the morning and sometimes in the evening.
Once a confrontation happened with me and the Street dogs. Despite incredibly small size , she rushed towards the pack of dogs , all flared up in rage.
In the end it was me , who was protecting the dogs.
A mother cat is instinctively very protective of her children and owner. Turns into hulk, when averagers require it.😂

Jokes aside, this is genuinely fascinating to watch. The way the cat flat-out stares at the owner the first time kid gets a bit to handsy with the railing. Then, realizing the human isn’t going to do anything, hesitantly nudges the child away from the balcony even reaching out fully when the child uses the other hand, before hurriedly lurching over the edge in order to get the baby away from the ledge entirely.
It’s likely the cat either witnessed the parent do this a few times or is just straight-up trained to do it. But that stare down and the initial hesitation is what makes this so interesting to me.
It really is interesting to watch, cats and toddlers are a lot smarter than people think.
