I'd like to see the different funtions of these lights.
This is exactly what I’ve been wanting. Well… almost. If they had a color match option it would be exact. I personally don’t want something that makes it look like a later generation. I want to keep the C6 look and just update it and this does (almost) exactly that.
That is one thing I am not expecting...for them to make a color option other than black. While that works for me, I know it doesn't work for everyone's color scheme.
I've got Morimoto's all the way round on my C6 GS and I really like my C7 headlights, but I do like these headlights from COPLUS. Dare I say that if I didn't have the Morimoto's I would buy the COPLUS headlights. Like you, I like the OEM design, but their brightness, or lack thereof, really sucked.
What I'd like to know is where did the owner get that rear exhaust valance? I really, really like it. If you can assist on this item, I'd appreciate it.

Very interested in these lights. I'm with you on the c6 headlights. I prefer them over the other styles. Hopefully they will be equal quality of the Morimoto tails, Fogs and side markers that I already have.
BTW, I'm pretty certain that those wheels are BC Forge RZ22 in a dark color. I'm going to be either getting those or the EH309'S in brush black.

Hi Jason. I have a C6 and I think I want to try the C7 style COPLUS units. That unit won't pop up on the COPLUS page....only the OEM style. Do you know if the C7 style units are still offered? Is there a domestic product support telephone number you have ....maybe? Any other tips appreciated. Good work on your videos!
They don't seem to be on their site any more. I don't have any contact info other than what is on their site. Wish I could give you more info!

They are coming out later this year. I'll have a set in my hands for a followup test video in a few weeks.
Long time no see! Glad you're back. I have the LED bulb in my C6 housing. Only housing i like is the c7 morimotos but the bulb is not replaceable and that was the deal breaker for me. C8 housing on a C6 is just blasphemy. These look ok 👍
I too much prefer the factory style headlights like this over the C7/C8 style stuff.

i think it will depend on the quality and on the performance of these lights to success against the C7 and C8 style lights , cause we know that the C7 and C8 healights are doing a great job , and these lights could look cooler , but if the performance is not what we are expecting , The people will choose other options , So in my personal opinion , Once they get released you should do a comparison on brightness ons this 3 headlight styles , to see if they worth the money , cause im sure they wont be cheap
My initial testing these lights not only blow away OEM HID in terms of brightness, but also light pattern. You'll see. :) I do have an image of the C8 style being tested in my garage somewhere, I'm trying to find it. :)
I agree! I do think that the c7 and c8 style upgrades look nice, but a C6 vette should be its own and these lights update the look while keeping it a C6 light.
Glad I see so many people who share the same opinion I do on this one, I thought I might be one of very few. What do you think? Do you think you would get a set?
@@InJasonsGarage I like the color match headlights on my cyber grey, but if these lights were say 600-800, i would definitely consider buying them. At 1k or more, it would be a no-go for me.

Got to be honest. I just put the GTR Carbide C8 style headlights on my C6 and they look way better.
Nothin'g wrong with that! They look great, but I just like the OEM style of C6 headlight. I do think it is cool that soon you'll be able to have a choice of C6, C7, or C8 headlights for a C6. I wondering who will have the guts to make a C5 style headlight for the C6? 🤣

They show a brighter low beam and looks like they've improved the yellowish high beam look, but if the high beam is not any brighter than OEM, lumen-wise, I'll just continue to wait. Seems the stumbling block of all these aftermarket headlight kits is there is no lumen improvement on the High beam. And, if the Low beam is much brighter, it begs the question - are these headlights DOT approved and bear the label proving such?
We all know that making a bulb output whiter doesn't mean it's brighter than it's yellowish counterpart. The brighter appearance is just an illusion.
Good points. I am going to lux test them like I do at my channel www.carlightreviews.com before I install them. For the record, I understand that DOT doesn't actually approve anything, nor does SAE for that matter. They write the standards but it is up to the manufacturer to adhere to those standards. The label doesn't actually mean anything, the proof is in the documentation showing that it does indeed meet the standards. Some companies provide the documentation, others do not.
I prefer the C6 style headlights. Putting C7 or C8 style on C6 is the same as the guy putting wide body on base. We know you're faking it.
Maybe hearing from another side can help shed some light on reasons behind upgrading a car. I went wide body on my base model, not to imitate a z06 or zr1. I did for two reasons. 1st I was able to safely and correctly fit 325’s on the rear instead of my 285 tires. And 2nd this allowed me to get a proper offset wheel to allow for much larger brakes. I don’t run any z06 or zr1 emblems and actually am really proud to say mine is a base model when people ask bc I built it, not bought. 508whp out of an NA ls3 is a real banger ;)
