    This is an absolutely GREAT and helpful how-to video. I’ve been looking for resistor-less bulbs for the longest, for the resistors generate so much heat, I’m very nervous about where to mount the resistor. This solves that problem! Dude, thank you!

    Started doing light research for my subaru, ending up adding only lighting upgrades for my c6 so far

    Wow, great review and how to video. I will definitely be upgrading my C6. Thanks.

  • @contagiousingenuityagency5273

    A few more options for those of us who don't want to splash the extra cash for brand new headlights but want to maximize output from a plug-n-play upgrade:
    - Restore the oxidized lenses with a restoration kit ($20-$35) and install quality vinyl film like Lamin-X or X-pel to prevent the lenses from yellowing again for a long time to come ($50-$80). This will double or triple your existing or upgraded light output depending on how bad it was to begin with and how good the job was done.
    - Not exactly plug-n-play but it will save you lots of money vs. buying new assembly. Do the above and/or replace factory low/high beam projectors with M-Led 2.0 or quality HID units (time consuming but saves $$$$).

      These are all really great alternatives! About the light quality change post-headlight cleaning, your output is likely not to change *that* much. But you will see some difference, especially if the lenses were in really bad shape. We do sell Lamin-X for those interested! (www.headlightrevolution.com/lamin-x-film-sheet-A-LAMINXS_2).
      Thank you for your comment!

    The front side marker portion is a bit mis-leading. My C6 (2012) has panels in the front. There is no just reaching behind the fender/tire and pushing out the old marker. It will need to be pried out.

    Are the turn signal lights the CK or non-CK sockets? They have the switchback version which sounds pretty cool but they all have different versions for CK and non-CK socket versions.

    As sick as it may sound, this is such a great video I’ve watched it several times! Can you confirm the front turn signal bulb? When I go to the provided link the drop down shows a number of different bulbs. Which one should I choose for an amber bulb for a 08 C6? Thanks

      @@BlaqViper should all aftermarket bulbs be chosen as NON-CK? And does amber mean it flashes orange or is orange by default. Thanks !

    Any chance you can list all the bulbs (and your part number) in this video? It would make for a great check list. I will be replacing all my bulbs over the next couple months and having a checklist would be very helpful.

    I replaced my fog light bulbs with LED bulbs but they were 9145's, not 9005 as you state.

    • @riveroneone
      @riveroneone Před rokem

      Correct. 9145 is the OEM fit for the fog lamps. This vid is a bit misleading in that he says just to use the same led as in the high beams. He did also mention 9005 but the high beam is H9 so one must be careful to not use the same exact led bulb since they are not interchangeable

  • @unlawfulorder2127
    @unlawfulorder2127 Před 2 dny

    All of these light bulbs are way over priced. $225 for fog light bulbs and another 225 for high beam bulbs???!? Y’all lost your minds.
