@@rayanlina5500 its probably ur hard drive that has gone bad and u need to replace it I have replaced mine cause I couldn't download my disk games and I followed all the steps and it worked for me I don't have a pc thats why I used an android phone
Make sure you click on the eject usb on your pc or laptop don’t just yank it out it won’t save your files and you will get that annoying message usb not found on your ps4 when your trying to reinstall your software

I did everything correctly and worked only for a couple hours until it turned off and put me on a screen saying "Can't initiate ps4" now im stuck on a screen telling me to "Reinstall system software" By using a USB so i guess ima have to do that and replay every single campaign again 🗿

I’m getting really frustrated because I tried all of these safe mode options that u were talking about in ur past videos and it’s just keeps shuttling off like it keeps just turning off and won’t go back I even tried option 6 and it still just turned off and the only thing I can do is go back into safe mode please help before I break something
Would it work for 10.01 ps4 system software update?
While I was able to reinstall the 8.03 update successfully using my USB drive the PS4 still wouldn't boot up. Always started with scanning the system before giving me the same message again which was to update to 8.03 with the reinstallation file. So that's what I did and this worked but of course all data is gone. I tried all the other options first but no luck.
Does it work with a Android tablet?

had the problem with the software update but then my controller tured off and blinks white once and turns off again I have tried connecting it with the micro usb cable from the original ps4 console while in save mode that doesnt work either I have diconnected the controler via reset button and then tried reseting the connection from the controller to the ps4 with holding share and home button and those things didnt work too. I dont know what to do ur my last hope man:/

I had the same issue, what worked for me was I turned off my PS4 and the held the ON button for 2 beeps then in the safe mode menu I chose "5. Rebuild Database". 2 minutes later my PS4 was on and working again! :) (note: before I tried that, I took out the HDD Harddrive and blew a little air on the connectors and put it back in, that could have been the solution too, im not sure, try both, HDD comes out easily.

You might need a new harddrive if you have tried every option
@@Shiroz_1 new hard drive if it does that, get a new hard drive and repeat this process to download the files onto the new hard drive

mine would say database is corrupted or the sony screen would just repeat then cut off
so my phone isn't a samsung, so this process was pretty difficult. I am however, unable to copy the file to the usb. I bought the recommended usb drive in the description on this video. whenever i try to copy the file to the usb, there is no option to click done, therefore, it doesn't copy over to the drive. i'm very sad that i'll be unable to play for the next year, but i appreciate this video regardless, thank you.

Mine goes right back into safe mode after update. What do I do please? I really don't want to lose my data; I wouldn't even know how to begin downloading everything from scratch again. Internet isn't cheap in my country and not all my saves are backed up. I hate this so much...I was just playing RDR2 when the Power Holding Company took the power and just like that, my game keeps on looping into safe mode..loads up to 64% then jumps to 100% only to tell me "Cannot start PS4".

I have a galaxy s8. When I download the update file, it won't let me pick where to do it. It downloads, and says it can't open file. My usb lit up too. Do I need that exact usb you have or should I use the one you recommended?
no need to open the file, just use file manager that came with your phone to locate the file and copy it to USB drive.
@@ZadiusTech I'm using the flash drive you recommended. It says it can't find the update file. It doesn't automatically go to the usb storage 1 folder, so i have to manually copy it. when i copy it, do i copy it to the usb storage 1 folder, then ps4 update folder? or do i need to copy it directly to the ps4 update folder?

Hi Brennan, it looks like Chrome is blocking the file download, use Firefox instead I just verified that it works on that web browser.

You'll need to download the file again.

If you are getting that message, you may need to download the "File for Reinstallation" that I mentioned in the video. It will wipe the contents of the PS4, but usually that fixes the problem.
