Gotta love how there are 5 mail boxes next to each other in front of a yard between two houses, and there is not a hint that says which house each mailbox belongs to
Okay, so coming from a carrier: Why there could be 5 - 1.) A house can be split, i.e. part of the house is being rented out, requiring additional mailboxes. 2.) On a route, the mailboxes can all be on one side of the street, meaning three houses on the other side have their mailboxes in this row. As for the lack of identification on the mailboxes - 3.) Yeah, welcome to the postal service. Some people won't put an identifier on their mailbox, but when the mail gets misdelivered they wonder why and blame the carrier (though mistakes do happen, not saying we're all flawless). 5 boxes in a line, as if a carrier is psychic and knows who's is which. To which someone will eventually take a sticker or a marker and mark which is which on the inside of the boxes. As for why they are so close together - 4.) The USPS tries to encourage people to place the mailboxes together like this to make the route more efficient/clean. A cluster of boxes like this is faster to deliver to than boxes evenly split apart in front of people's yards. Honestly... Family Guy got it right, sadly. The only questionable thing to me is having mailboxes like that when Cleveland is a city carrier, which means he delivers door-to-door on foot instead of delivering in a vehicle. But in my area, we have nothing but rural routes so I cannot say how legit that is.
Reminds me a father good old days where the classics of shows like Loony Toons and Tom and Jerry balanced perfectly with the action shows like Bakugan, Danny Phantom and Power Rangers ☺️
Very weird that Donna found out that Cleveland’s mom died before he did, not to mention that she texted it to him while he’s at work, that’s more of a sit down and process it kind of conversation, not a phone call/text message conversation.
I actually really like this skit holly cow. Pretty well animated and choreographed. Edit: I don't think the "Your mother is dead" joke at the end was necessary.
As a former mail carrier this didn’t happen often but when it did most of the time you have to push the lid in as hard as you can so it latches, if not then I would put the mail as far back as I could so it’s not visible to anyone and just walk away like nothing happened 😂
So, this just proves that the Family Guy staff can make a good episode with wonderful animations and storytelling, it’s just they’re too lazy and just don’t want to do it.
