Love to see it. Where i live two doctors can't agree how to immobilize a broken humerus even though my pain level clearly indicated it. They needed 3 days to figure it out and it was a clean bone break that had no complications. Honestly stoked for the fact that he had access to such emergency care and i have endless respect for them.

Having PTSD sucks. I have that as well. Had since I was 8 when I lost my dad. Never recovered from that. So I kinda know what this guy is going through. Having PTSD isn't a good life style to be honest. Wishing we could all go back in time just to make a few changes in life so we wouldn't have to live through it

The editing around the crash that shifted it to a dark dreamlike quality is chillingly inspired. It really brought home how memory breaks apart in a moment like that. It seems to last forever but it's over in an instant. Lives change in that time. Bless you both. May you be brothers forever.
It's frame interpolation, basically there weren't enough frames in the original recording to get a good slow motion, so they artificially created the information missing in between the frames of the original recording with AI. The dreamlike quality is incidental to how the process works, it wasn't intentional, although admittedly it does look kind of cool and surreal looking
its pretty much the images being sharpened up, filling in the missing areas & slowed down to a level that you can see. I do love the way it was done & presented as well!
Maxy used this poor dumb ass for views. He should not have been on that bike. I've been on Litre bikes and super sports for thirty years and it was obvious that Rad was not skilled enough to be doing anything near what he was doing.

i feel you man. i was 10 when me and my dad we're going to buy ice cream on a hot sunny day in norway.
and there was this dude that had hard beef with my dad and my father tried to talk it off but the man's anger was too high and his rage erupted. and the dude hit my dad with a rock in the face until his face opened. i watched my father die. i couldn't do anything beacuse i got pushed away every time i tried to disrupt him from smashing my dad's face to bits. but my 10 year old body wouldn't make the man's body move away from my dad laying on the concrete. and my dad's final words to me was "let's meet in the sky and play tag another time alright?" he said to me with a rumbling voice. i'm 15 now and i still see my dad's open face and his facial organs out. i've recovered now and i live with my mom and my dream is to become a pro parkourist. he only got 3 years in prison and i'm mad to this day about it.

I’m so surprised at how fast he’s recovering. I had a motorcycle accident 2 months ago; 8 broken ribs, broken ankle, broken humerus, collapsed lung among other things. Was in the hospital for a month and still have a little while until I’m allowed to walk

Fractured my right tibia and obliterated my knee last February slipping on gravel and it took me damn near until December/January to be off my walker and on a cane

All fractures are not same. Depending on the way the bone is broken the recovery times can vary.
Other things like smoking and caffeine can slow down bone growth needed for healing.
Sleep on time, eat clean and your body will recovery fast.

This was an emotional rollercoaster of a video, but I am so glad he made it.
This doesn't have a direct connection to the video, but your response after the crash really made me think about how truly loved I am. I've been struggling with some things and it's made me reconsider life.
But the true, raw emotions this video conveyed.. It sort of made me rethink my rethinking, recognizing the impact I have on my closest people's lives.

What? He overtook them both quite well, Rad for unknown reason decided to force himself in between max and the other guy and they panicked and pressed front way too hard.
The guy in front passed them both, rad decided to go right behind him later - it's not the fault of person in front. And there was a corner, everyone should be expecting braking zone, guy in front didn't flip his bike while braking so it was over brake by rad

Yeah it's his fault he crashed, but you can flip a 250 or a grom or wash out a Harley just as easy, the bike had nothing to do with it. It was an accident on a closed course where no innocent bystanders could get hurt, shit happens. Realistically it was the exact place he should have been riding it, he just didn't know how to react to the situation and made a mistake, which happens even to professional racers. Not sure what you're even getting at here tbh.

I grew up racing motocross and have watched some of my buddies mess themselves up pretty bad. Scary stuff. You didn't have to show yourself breaking down back at the trailer. But you were man enough to show it anyway. I was right there with you, man, tears and all. It ain't easy to watch a buddy go through something like that.

No joke. We just lost an 18 y/o girl here in Utah. She had run from cops in 2 nearby cities and chases were called off. Shortly after, she was going to fast to navigate a slight bend in the road and crashed. I'm doing a memorial ride for her this coming Saturday. :/

I was in a car crash back on 30 Nov 2021. I had a head injury, brain bleed, broken off head of femur, completely shattered ball joint, fractured neck, fractured back, fractured sternum, 3 fractured ribs , liver lacerations, blunt force trauma to kidneys, collapsed lung 2 times, and a medically induced coma for 2 weeks. I completely understand the trauma he has gone through and the marvellous recovery he is making. I cannot walk fully yet, only about 20-25 yards. All that damage to his femur and he is load bearing after 2 weeks, superb!!!! I was T-boned from the right in drivers door (UK) and pushed off the road into a tree!! That's what did all the damage. P.S. I am a biker, too. My last ride, a few years ago, was a real vintage oldie - a 1990 Kawasaki ZZR 1100 C1. (A 186 mph rocket of the day and the first production bike to break 300kph). I hope you make a full recovery for whatever is your next ride.

Dang. That was a nasty crash. Looks like he wasn't paying attention to what was coming up ahead and then grabbed a fist full of brake... painful to watch.
he was worried about others behind him on the track because he was new to it. Very common for people to wipe out, just rad got the worst of it this time. It’s very intimidating jumping on a track with some really fast people and not knowing what’s behind you. When you hear a big loud track bike screaming behind you around a turn or coming into one it’s scary af at first. That front brake has some power man.
So that guy in front of him didn’t just cut him off and brake check him ?
the bike in front is slower and rad (the guy that crashed) wasnt prepared for someone to come up behind him that close, got scared, braked much too hard. nobody is at fault here except maybe he should have had more time to get comfortable on that bike before going that fast.@@alexflores6722

This is the definition of a fucking miracle. My father got into a motorcycle accident a few years back due to a bike he wasn’t used to. He whiskey throttled it up into a wall, the bike flipped over onto him and he broke quite a lot. He now has permanent nerve damage to his knee and it’s a 24/7 pain. I’m go glad to see a crash as severe as this one end up happy and healthy. Stay safe. ❤

Know how they feel.. in 98 an F150 4x4 hit me on my four wheeler from behind at 55 mph .. woke up 4 days later in trauma . All my ribs on left side were broken and five places in the back, punctured lung had to be drained, broken leg, badly dislocated shoulder, severely bruised spleen, head stapled back up , my knee was jacked up.. glad this guy is ok.. I don't remember anything from that day

Yes he pretty much locked up the front brake. Either brake with everything or hit the other bike otherwise. The real mistake was the spontaneous heated acceleration up to someone who A. thought he passed you (and left you) long back and B. was about to brake into an upcoming turn@@a.t.g000
@@a.t.g000 That is exactly what happened. He grabbed the front brake too hard for the speed he was going. Super sport bikes have extremely powerful brakes especially in the front.

There was a corner there, therefore the guy used his brakes. The dude who crashed shouldn't have tried to chase him so closely if he isn't familiar with the track layout and comfortable with his riding abilities.

If you don’t get to hit the apex perfectly because someone is already there that doesn’t mean you cut them off and slam on the brakes. It means you do another lap and hit it next time.
You sound like an extremely dangerous rider or an exclusive car driver. with your mentality you are bound to kill somebody or be killed yourself. Hope you can work on that ego and keep safe.
I think it was the fact that the guy came flying up right at a corner to try and overtake instead of earlier on a straight.

Damn, that's terrifying! I'm sorry he got hurt, but I'm glad he's going to be ok. It's amazing how medical technology has advanced so much. If this had been several years ago, he would be in a hospital and in the bed for months before ever walking. Keep healing, I'm rootin' for you!

I think the real fact is that AGV helmets along with the vest really helped reduce the severity of the injury, i am a karting driver and used MT for quite a while, i had a accident while wearing AGV and i came out just fine

That airbag vest definitely saved your life. I’ve lost 4 friends from bike accidents. Two were hit by drunk drivers. I started riding when I was 9. My neighbor Kevin had a little 50cc mini bike. He let me try it out, and I was hooked. Bought my 1st bike at 16. He was the first friend I had that was killed in a motorcycle accident. I’m so glad to see there was a good ending to your story. Take care and cheers to a speedy recovery. I know what it’s like to have a bunch of hardware in you. I’ve had 2 back surgeries with lots of hardware, total knee replacement and an ACL reconstruction. Glad to see Rad doing better. I follow your channel because I relate with you and the content you post. I hung up the helmet a while back because of all my loss. I lost 3 brothers in 2 years. It was enough to convince me to hang up my gloves and helmet. I miss my friends dearly but I’m sure they would want me to continue riding. I have been recently thinking of getting back out on the track first for some reassurance and build confidence. I know my capabilities when riding and I feel I’m better then your average rider but that’s not worries me. There are more and more people on the roads now days and they are new young drivers as well as so older drivers that just don’t look for motorcyclists. People scare me not my ability to ride. Track day to me is very important to know your abilities. The track lets you push the envelope and lets you know just how far you can push your machine. This is good to know when a situation arises. Stay safe out there.

That being said, that was a real rough one. It's unfortunate that the track-goer was doing something unanticipated, but I can assure you that something like this on the public roads would have certainly been your demise. It's good that this happened on the track, where there was more... "favorable" conditions.

A popular after effects plugin 'Twixtor', that may well have pioneered the time warp algorithm or at the very least popularised it, was released sometime in the middle of 2008, either June or July. It doesn't use AI, it's pure mathematics

Speedy recovery rad, from a accident of my own I can say the one thing that helped me was just staying positive, it really helped my healing process. Looks like you’re doing pretty damn good with that one though. Only up from here bud.
Hey Rad, sorry to hear this all happened to you, shame on your first ride on a track with a spiffy bike, you deserved to just enjoy it. Everything about that crash shouldn't of happened to such a great guy. I'm glad you're feeling better, and you're not letting it get you down. Keep on trucking man! And don't skimp on physical therapy for those injuries and the rod in your leg. It helps way more than you could expect. Even if your not hurt or in pain. It will definitely help with gaining full range of mobility back with plates and rods. Helped my dad a ton on his knee replacement. Best wishes brother on a speedy recovery. Hope to see you back out there soon. And please be safe! I understand accidents happen but man if I don't say it we've just lost too many good ones like you these past years.

Rad fucked up though. He should have held back. He also overreacted on the braking which caused his front wheel to lock up which was the cause of this accident.

Glad to see you on the mend Rad. Don't rush into getting back on 2 wheels, you had a hell of a crash. I crashed in 2016 and only required surgery on my knee to repair some torn tendons and get a skin graft from the road rash. I was three months in recovery and to this day I still feel the knee tightening up on me.
HOLY CRAP, Rad. You are one lucky Dude. I got knocked off last year at fairly low speed so I can relate a bit to the ribs although she only broke two and caused nerve damage to the left foot which, 10 months later, I am still waiting to see a Consultant for diagnosis and treatment but I am back on the BEAST again. Being a beginner on the track you’re supposed to let faster riders/drivers pass you, not chase them down going that fast when he is still learning to turn into corners. There was absolutely no reason for him to chase the guy passing into a corner that aggressively as a novice.
@@peeposadboy Guy overtook aggressively and rolled of the throttle directly infront of him in non-race conditions knowing there would be beginners there, he didn't chase him, watch the brake lights you rookie. People should NOT be overtaking novices into a corner and defensively, aggressively blocking like that. 100% the idiot overtakings fault.
Why does everyone around max always crash, I feel like something is going on.
I've had a much cleaner broken femur (only in one place) and it took a lot longer to get walking around than Rad that is for sure!!! I had the rod and two screws also. Bloody amazing how tech and doctors are these days. You sure are different to most people! All the best in the future. Sometimes it feels like you are not going to be the same again but trust me my broken femur side is probably better than before the break!
