I think you mean the camera mount 🤔 Do you put and tape under yours or protective clear wrap.? I found this cool rubberized tape that only sticks to itself and nothing else, give good grip to the clamp. And if it get damaged easy to take off and redo no mess with glue left over.😁

Not having taken a pillion can't say for sure so I just tried it out on the center stand. It's feels the same there is plenty of room and I'm just under 6 ft and my legs aren't in an uncomfortable angle considering the seat is flat and your pillion will be at the same height as you.😁
