Hey Dave! I'm new to your channel, and I just wanted to tell you how much I admire your patience when it comes to handling your tarantulas. I currently have 5 of them, and 4 are slings. Next time you have flies you should gets mosquito bits. The bacteria kills all kinds of larvae but nothing else. I've used it in all my tanks and house plants (except sun beetles enclosure) and everything's doing good:)
@@daveslittlebeasties I hadnt eathir till a gd few months ago but was recommended by an isopod youtuber (aquaramax). They can only kill things that are in a larvae stage. Dont quote me on this part but I think it's the natral bacteria in them that dose it. Since you are keeping it on a natural soil, moss and wood maybe a good idea would be introducing isopods. They would feed on leftover food and keep it from rotting. Have you ever used them?
Keep to Dave's mantra of "Be calm, be gentle, and love your spider". If you panic (you will release pheromones, have jerky movements, etc.), your spider is going to panic.
