- Rehousing our Psalmopoeus irminia and care
Today we are rehousing our adult female Sun Tiger , these are a very popular and striking arboreal spider from Venezuela, these are a sub tropical spider that appreciates a humidity level around 60/70 % these are a great spider for new comers to keep to enable them to gain some experience before moving onto more demanding spiders .

Video by Dave's Little Beasties don't forget to subscribe - Be Calm, Be Gentle and Love Your Spider
I have no interest in keeping spiders myself, but your knowledge and way of delivering it is just so entertaining - I’m hooked
This really makes me happy 👍
Give it time, I said the same a few years back when I started with some other channels. Now im looking into purchasing a Chromatopelma of my own!

Fabulous spider 🕷 hopefully she produces a sac for you Dave. Thanks for sharing 🖤
We hope so 😂👍
Hello great video rehousing Dave
She only got one strike before she probably
realized she wasn't going to have her way with you. Very good example at keeping calm and not rushing things.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Its always good to change there minds back to being sensible spiders again 😂😂👍
Great way to move her, Low Stress ReHousing 👌✔️
Thats the Beastie Way 😂😂👍
I must say, Dave does appear to have a trick of analysing spider/tarantula behaviour, always stays calm and quickly defuses aggression. Well done!
You have such caring for your little beasties. Sometimes I watch JP the Beeman. He is the same way. Every little bee is important to him. He even talks with his girls. You are gentle with your little beasties in the same way. Every life has its purpose and does not deserved to be harshly pushed around. It certainly does my heart good to see you working with your pet collection. Lots of luck with them and making them so happy like the hissing beetles that didn't hiss but felling asleep instead. 😀
I love watching the way you approach your spiders.
I have a ravenous little irminia sling. I love this species.
I don't like people owning ......cagey is lazy science....the natural world is closer to some truth.
How can they be if not free ....to be?
So pretty... so hungry..😄👍
Quick update: she just molted again. Definitely a female juvie :)
Nice!!🙆♂️ 😎👍
Your enclosures are some of the best I’ve seen in the hobby. Beautiful girl btw! Her coloration is beautiful 🧡🖤
Thank you so much my friend 👍
I absolutely love your channel!! You're a natural!

She is beautiful Dave, fingers crossed for another egg sac for you
Heres hoping 👍😂
I have 2 of these gorgeous girls, Loki and Viper - aka Toes since she's a sling. They are such striking tarantulas. The orange and the greeny blue on the bottom tips of their feet...adorable 😀
Yet another informative video, could watch these for hours 😀 thank you Dave and Camera Lady 😘🤗
Your very welcome Susan

I love the video's of this girl! I'm new to tarantula keeping but successfully caring for a beautiful, healthy girl like this is my ultimate goal. Thank you so much for sharing her!

So glad you have one there really lovely spiders and nice and easy to care for👍
Brilliant video Dave, brilliant species, another beautiful enclosure and a super job as usual by yourself and camera lady, sublime.
Thanks George 👍❤️
@@daveslittlebeasties your very welcome Dave.
I'm a bit late getting to watch this one.
Lovely irminia Dave. I rehoused mine about a month ago as she outgrew her deli tub. She was only out for about two days then webbed herself in and sealed the entrance, not seen her since.
Maybe a moult coming soon 😂👍
@@daveslittlebeasties that's what I'm hoping for.
Dave,
you have been a tremendous help for me. I always tell myself to be calm be gentle and love imy spider's and it really helps me with my fear. Thank you for that.😊
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dave your videos are so inspiring to everyone to the spider collection keep up the good work and I hope u and all ya family are keeping well
Thank you my friend ❤️👍
I soooo want to believe that your spiders somehow appreciate the special care and beautiful enclosures you give them. Spiders: You love Uncle Dave's TLC, don't you? :)
Yes they do😂😂❤️
She is so precious! 🥹
My P. Irminia just molted and CRUSHED a mealworm today - first time I’ve seen him in action. Can’t wait until we make it to this level. Great video per usual Dave :)
you gave a mealworm to a fresh molted spider?
@@lucaslacotis3280 oh no, of course not. I gave him a week to harden up - poorly worded first comment 😅
There cracking spiders you love watching yours grow 👍
magical video as usual PROFF, great way to make an enclosure from the bio local diversity in your surroundings . thanks camera lady
Cheers buddy it has to be done and its free 😂😂👍
I think this is the coolest looking spider I have seen on your channel. That coloring on her abdomen is wild.
Hooray, the calendar has finally changed! Still not right but at least it closer ; )
Amazing T’s P irminia, mine’s growing like a weed and eats like a champ. Scares the heck out of me when it decides to move but incredibly beautiful to look at. Another great rehouse : )
thanks buddy 👍
if you approach them calmly, it seems that no T is actually aggressive. lovely.
❤️❤️❤️👍
Then i give you mine. They even attack, when a waterdrop drops in the terrarium. But i like it somehow, at least they give some response lol.
Stunning Spider....Hypnotic colouring
Thank you so much 😀
This spider is my ultimate goal to have. Have always loved this particular spider.
Im 56 years old, spent most of my life in the outdoors. Pretty much held, been chased by, or stocked by all kinds both large and small types of wildlife
I dont fear any thing but spiders yet i keep clicking on these spider vids flintching in my seat when they move snd continuously think about it for hours. I need therapy.
Their more afraid of you than you are of them SOME Of THEM. Lol
There's just something about them mate. Think you wanna buy one or 15 deep down inside. Don't lie to yourself
You need to get a tarantula and finally win your fear of arachnids :)
You are the epitome of calm. I'm so glad I found your channel before I watched others. I've learned so much about how to remain calm and care for spiders. As you would say, Epic!
❤️❤️❤️
I love your videos so much, criminally underrated channel. Just rehoused my Irminia the other day, such a beautiful species and genus in general.
Your very kind and with your continued support we will get there 👍👍
I love P.irminia.It was very helpful! P.irminia is really beautiful.
Thank you 👍❤️
Thank you for All the videos Dave! Got a irminia myself. Lovely spider Looking forward to a the next one :D huge fan from denmark!
Hi there and thanks for watching there lovely spiders
Great video Dave and as calm and professional as always. All my tarantulas have been bought as juvies but I ordered my first sling which is the P. Irminia which arrived a couple of weeks ago. Omg I was so shocked by how small it was and it makes me so nervous about caring for such a little thing but hoping all will be good and I get to enjoy watching it grow. Stay safe my friend.
Keep it slightly damp and feed regular and it will be fine my friend there pretty hardy 👍👍
Like someone else commented I don't keep spiders but I got recommended one of your videos and I think they're great. Very relaxing. You're very well spoken and clearly know what you're talking about- it's making the perfect break for me from studying. Greetings from Liverpool :) stay safe and well Dave
Im so glad you found our channel and your enjoying the videos there plenty to catch up on 😂😂😂👍but dont forget to study too 😂😂😂👍👍👍❤️
Dave and the Art of Tarantula Maintenence. ☯️

Masterful handling.
Yes! He's amazing isn't he?
One of the prettiest spiders out there!!!
Hi Dave , love the video. That's a beautiful P. irminia you have.
You take very good care of you’re spiders I’m a big fan
Thank you ❤️👍
Another fantastic video Dave ☺️ what a beauty she is. Interesting that you mentioned the re house kick starting a moult or egg sack. I have 3 slings that have just moulted straight after a re house 😊
It normally does the trick 👍
Love the setup I got a bag of compass the other day with beastie substrate I've collected from the valley ,,
First class stuff you wont regret it 👍👍👍
Great stuff as usual Dave. I bought a sling suntiger a few weeks ago, so this video was extremely handy. 👍
Great glad to be of help my friend 👍
Thanks for this video Dave. This was precisely what I needed. Tomorrow I am going to a breeder to pick up a couple Psalmopoeus irminia slings. They will be my very first T's. I was a bit worried that they might be extra bolty but you showed us that with the right method it does not have to be difficult😁
Really impressed by your video, I learned a lot! Your enclosures are gorgeous. I love Psalmopoeus but am very intimidated by them and you've given me a different perspective.
You can do it!
Perfect timing just got a p irminia juvi myself thanks again Dave for the brilliant video and information really appreciate it 🙏🤘
Your very welcome matey 👍and good luck with yours 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties thank you 🙏

Every video you bring another interesting fakt or info, sorry but I thing you are the best Spiderman on youtube🤷♂️👍👏👏
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
I have one of her babies, feisty little thing our little bambi is 🤗
There so cool sian 👍
Oh my, what a gorgeous girl, her markings are really beautiful. Gosh, I desperately want a T but hubby said it’s him or a spider. I wonder how long enclosures take to be delivered. Hmmm.
😂😂😂😂😂😂test his metal 😂😂😂👍
I have 4 and my misses didn't wwsnt me to have them I just got them 😂
She is so big and pretty. Thank you.
Once again Dave, your channel is so inspiring. The respect and love you have for these creatures just shines through in every video. The care and dedication is just inspirational l. I'm not a keeper, but after a lifelong fear, I now find these creatures fascinating and amazing. Brave enough to hold one, but I wouldn't keep one in the house 🤪
I watch your video's nearly every night before retiring bed, and they have a relaxed, friendly and informative feel about them.. keep up the amazing work.. you've more than earned a sub from me! ✌️
Nice and easy. Glad to say I'll be getting into the hobby with a couple slings coming soon. Thanks for all the videos I think I've watched them all and they helped get me to take the first step.
Same mate perhaps we can swap notes all the best in the hobby. Yours Paul jones
What a Beauty! nice job as always! I'm hoping to get a Sun Tiger very soon!
Will be a great addition to your collection 👍

Thank you so much for this video, I have just subscribed to your channel today following recommendations from people in The Tarantula Collection. This was a really useful video as I have recently purchased my first t and it is an irminia so I really appreciate it.

These are very beautiful Spiders! This is definitely 1 which I would love ❤️ to have again, if I lived alone.
Such beautiful spider!
This was a great video. She's such a pretty girl, too! CZcams recommended this from watching Dark Den and, for once, I'm glad they did. Awesome stuff 👍
And you have a new subscriber!
Welcome to our channel I hope you enjoy all the content 👍👍👍
Niceee
Very nice video Dave and I love the enclosure you fixed up for the Sun Tiger.
Thanks 👍
Awesome t there you got she is so beautiful and the set up
Thanks so much
Good evening dave, my irminia was fed yesterday 2 small crickets 🦗, got up this morning and shes tunneled under the log and webbed herself a door to close her in, shes burrowed , she is only juvenile 🕷👍
Mine does this every 2-3 months for about 5 weeks. After this period she's always molted.
@@freshlizzard9603 thank you pre molt then
@@Spiderdan-59 i would think so. Don't get stressed if she is burrowed for a long time... mine had a period of 2 months or more😊
Omgosh Dave she is soooooo gorgeous!!! She may molt but I believe that bum is full of eggs. I hope so anyway. I would love to try and breed my girl. I got her as a freebie from Palp Friction a few years ago. I was really scared of her at first bcz of all the horrible things I had heard about them but my girl has never given me any trouble at all, even when I accidentally knocked her off my dresser. She's been a sweetie. Tyfs God bless you
Be nice and there normally nice 👍👍
@@daveslittlebeasties agreed
I love you channel💓🥺
Thank you 👍❤️
I need to rehouse my juvenile sun tiger, I have been putting it off for fear of bolting as it has before, but this has given me some confidence to give it a go.
Have a catch cup ready and do everything slowly and gentle, do it in the bath so you have more space👍
So well done and beautiful ❤️😍
Absolutely beautiful ❤
G'DAY, thank you for the video its really interesting. :)
Cheers matey 👍
Great video Dave and they are an amazing tarantula I've bought one up from a sling now a sub adult, my favourite.
There great spiders mate 👍
Just discovered your Channel and I love it 😊👍 definitely subscribed !
Welcome matey ❤️👍
So Gorgeous! Such a stunning spider! My P irminia is soshy
This video was so useful I've got to rehouse my P. Irminia soon hoping it goes well
Awesome👀❤️learning🎓here TY.
Wow
This is one of my faforite tarantulas of all time😎😍
She is beautiful
Oh lord they do get big!
Always love how gentle and relaxed you are with your spiders. That orange really is beautiful. Question: I'd like to use wild bark and moss like you do, but I'm concerned with bringing in mealybugs, not for the tarantula, but for the other plants in my house. They'd probably be kept in the same room. Do you ever have problems with mealybugs or do you not keep house plants in the same room?
I have never had mealybugs on my plants 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties okay, I see. Maybe it has something to do with the soil I use or the area
I absolutely love your bio active set ups ..... its the way I want to go
Its definitely the way forward 👍
Even with my discomfort around spiders, I can see just how gorgeous this girl's colours are.
What a stunning girl !!
