I've owned my 570 since 2014. It has just over 900 miles and 300 hours. Used mostly on my 10 acres. Plowing snow, hauling, trail rides. I've need a head gasket, replaced under warranty, a battery in 2020, fuel pump in 2020, and many fluid changes along the way. Overall been pretty reliable and easy to repair over the last 10 years I've owned it. Plenty of storage, good power and top speed, comfortable for longer rides, and fun!
Good day, thanks for the video. I’m having a problem with power delivery to the wheels. When i rev up it doesn’t bring the power to the wheels while the motor is sounding normal.
I'm working in the woods right now with it, so when it says low on coolant it got to like 210° so I got off it and just let it idle for a few minutes while I was cutting fruit trees and when I went back to check it it was at 2:48 so I shut it off. But then it did start again and I pulled a few trees with it and then it started smoking a little bit so I shut it off . So what did you say take and pull the spark plug and see if it'll turn over?
I bought a 2020 450 last year and the battery went out. I replaced the battery and now the check engine light comes on. The engine runs fine, I just now have a light on all the time. I am not sure if there is a reset or other I should look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have 2018 570sportsman efi… while it was out of gas I went ahead and changed the oil and filter put fresh gas back into now it starts for a split second and goes dead… check spark and everything I know to check… Any suggestions?
The fuel pump failure on mine was a o ring in the pump assembly causing it to not build enough pressure it was easy and cheap to fix the pump itself was fine

Basically the suspension and adc for the SP. Bass trackers are just chinese junk imo. 2017 570 is a good quad in general, just has the typical issues all 570s have.

Mine overheated yesterday it said low coolant level I checked it I couldn't see it when I took the cap off, there was none in the Overflow Reservoir or in the hose going from the reservoir to the radiator. I got it running again and then then it started smoking a little bit I shut it off and then when I went to go start it again it would not start or turn over , even trying to start it off the solenoid it has hardly any Spark.

That will be your fuel pump, pull the seat and you can see the map reader plug in on the side of the throttle body, disconnect it and start it, it should idle smooth but will die with any throttle, if it idles okay it's your fuel pump.
@@mbriggs4627 yup, replaced the fuel pump 2 days ago & it runs fine now. Still have an issue with it running a bit hot. Replaced thermostat and rad cap, elevated the front & burped all the air, used OEM fluid but still seems hot. Fan kicks in and off as it should, can't figure this one out.
@@mbriggs4627 no, no gauge. Just by feel of the heat it gives off and that it steams up the instrument cluster even in warm weather which it never used to do
Hi I have a 2014 sportsman 570 EFI touring. It turns over like it wants to start but it don’t. I have to turn the key and give it gas then it turns on sometimes. Could that be the woodruff key? I charged the CPS put new spark plug and new fuel pump. Do you have any idea?
I’m a try to change the injector tomorrow. It wants to start, but it doesn’t the only way it starts if I hold the gas and turn the key at the same time it doesn’t start all the time
My 2021 570 started ticking and lost all power like I was giving it full throttle and it was barley moving and it shut off and won’t crank any idea what it could be the ticking was coming right under the seat
Hey ive got a 570 sportsman 2018. I'm dealing with a high gear issue. First of all all gears are hard to shift and secondly while driving in high gear sometimes the gear makes noise and feels like its slipping. can anyone help me with this please?
i have a 14 570 and when i get on it it has plenty of power but when i start riding for about 5 minutes it just looses power and start back firing and not wanting to crank any help ?
This is exactly what mine is doing it is a 2015 570 sportsman. It cranks and runs fine for a little while until it gets hot and then it starts backfiring misfiring not idling.
I've got a 2016 570. I've had an intermittent problem with mine stalling. Now its backfiring and barely running when off idle I thought maybe weak battery might be the cause, but how would I decide if its really the fuel pump causing the problem ?
@@mattandkatchristie2552 I charged the battery, things seemed to improve - but I haven't done enough to really prove root cause. I should just go buy a battery, but my mower went down and distracted me.... I'll report back when I have found root cause with my situation.
THIS IS ALSO A RAT TRAP TO WORK ON COMPARED TO ALL THE OTHER MODELS! Battery for example is below the wheeler and strap for cover two man job just to get back on RIDICULOUS!!!
I have a 2016 sportsman 570sp and I’m having issues with code 102 4 (t-bap) I’ve replaced the harness and plug and the sensor I also replaced the fuel pump (complete pump) now my issue is atv would run and idle if check engine light is present when cold but when the engine runs enough to warm up check engine light goes off and atv shuts off and won’t start again until I unplugged the tbap sensor any idea what I’m dealing with?
Buy any pump save your money then get a heat shield for your fuel tank and wrap your header with heat shield tape. Problem solved. Cost about $75. And never buy a polaris again because they knew about this on 2016.
My dash lights flicker constantly, blow ps fuse constantly. Doesn't roll over half the time and this all started 1 week after getting it. It was fine until I took it back for a winch install.. it's like brand new and I hate it 8/... also the engine breaking really sucks
What do you mean by that? 😂. For one the sportsman 570 is a damn good ATV, for another you have 1000000 Chinese brands on the market that will break down after one or two rides and they still legally sell ATVs....

It definitely overheated. Pull the spark plug to see if it turns over or if it seized up

If you ran out of gas it can take a while before that pressure pushes out all the air in the line.

Possible top end rebuild needed. Do a compression check.
I have the same problem. It turned out there was water in the gas. Empty the tank out and give that a shot.

You might have blown the engine/ overheated it. Pull the spark plug and see if it turns over like normal.

Check your water pump and do a compression test

I accelerate but when i release the gas button the exhaust makes the pops.

Ignition is the first thing to check. Hand controls are next. Make sure your battery is good of course. Also check fuses.

Once above 200 degrees fans should be blowing. 215 is a typical hot temp and above that is overheating.

@actecalcfn5609 could be a lot of things. Valve clearance, crank bearings, piston slap, etc. No way to tell through messaging.

Check your primary and secondary clutch to see if the secondary is always moving. If it is, that's your issue.

When you say it wont crank, do you mean the engine doesnt turn over at all as if its seized or do you mean it turns over but wont fire?

You need to test the fuel pressure coming directly out of the pump.

It's how the clutch system is made. It's specifically designed to slow down when decelerating.

Sounds like you've done all of the typical issues for that code. Maybe your new bap sensor is also bad.

Sounds like they did something wrong when installing the winch. I would take it back to get it checked.

Mine won't start , I was plowing and it stalled then wouldn't start back up . It's like it wants to start like a dead battery. But has 12.4 volts ?
