How did you do the lift gate seal in the corners? My top has a gusset and the seal won’t fit around it.
Side note....on the wiper motor bracket if the gasket is to wide and is up against the motor I had notch it so it would fit, I have a soft top on mine, great video thank you, I've also have same drop motor bracket to
Great tip! It fit around my wiper motor
amzing stuff tired of spending the money hiring others this is great, though I'm so flipping greasy and oily i am not allowed to sleep in my bed if I'm working on the car that night. Maybe i can trade in my wife. huge favor, the dash board - the wiring under _ brake lights vanished, I'm also a bit nervous about taking off the dash - and not screwing something up. again you rock thanks for helping us nubes!
Yeah I need to do my windshield seal on my 77 f150 4x4, my feet get peed on occasionally in a hard rain lol 😂
I put some black gasket maker on the outside around where the glass meets the rubber for now. Works great.
Haha!
I just did mine as well, I took top off and flipped it over and put it on a mattress. I used potato chips bag clips to hold while the adhesive set up. Now it's to hot and I'm going back to soft top
Nice!
What product I can use to seal the weather strip? . Do you used on the sides of the hardtop?. You don't show ... thanks for the videos..
Just installed lmc stripping on mine.
Complete doors and where door closes.
Tip- spend time on "fitting" the doors to perfection so weatherstrip has a chance to do its job.
Tip- install and close doors and walk away for a few days. Put it in the sun! Leave it! My doors shut great!
However, the vent window rubber from lmc is junk. I used my original.
Great tip!
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco Thanks!
I'm in Gallatin. There's a few EB's around. Really nice ones. And then mine... Lol
Haha!
Did you find that with the new seals being so much thicker than the old ones that your hardtop sits higher on the body? I'm doing a complete ground up restoration and just mocked up my hardtop on the body. The issue I'm having is the new seals increased the gap between the top of the door window frame and the hardtop so even with new door seals it will never seal properly. Also the gap between the bottom of the liftgate and top of the tailgate is now 5/8"! To much for the new seal to cover. All new seals from TBP, I can't be the only one that has run into this problem?
Yeah, the hard top sits higher, but I just thought it was because I had no deals originally. So I didn’t have anything to compare the height difference to.
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco how did your liftgate to tailgate fit? Did your new seal fill the gap?
Quick question - do you have any vids or know of any that show install of a steering column? I took off the steering wheel, and shifter/wiring, etc. to get my dash off, and the first cup with the shifter (auto) will not slide all the way down. Something odd I am not doing correctly....
Check my video on removing the dash
So. Weatherstripping. What’s the appropriate weather to do that in? Stripping that is. :). Sorry. Couldn’t help it. The way you said that sounded funny
Haha! All weather needs stripping
I hope they don’t cancel the Tennessee Ford Bronco show
