How to install Hydroboost
zhlédnutí 3,4KPřed 3 měsíci
On my 1975 Ford Bronco, years ago I installed a brake booster which gave me more stopping power. BUT, with a brake booster you need 16-18 inches of vacuum to really see the benefits of a brake booster. Now I don’t have a super lobey cam in this engine, but still my vacuum measurements are only at 13 inches of vacuum at idle. Not enough to really see the brakes booster benefit. So I’m looking at...

I just got done with a two year restoration on my 1989 BII 4x4 back to original , but with a 4.0. I’m rebuilding a 5.0 to go in a Foxbody mustang now. I’m in Tupelo, MS BTW
I just got done with my 1989 high school Bronco II 4x4 back to original, but with a 4.0 from a ranger. Looks and runs great!
DUDE your EDELBROCK may NOT show ANY Peak hp INCREASE and still have more seat of the pants feel. its just MORE AREA under the TQ curve, giving you more TQ at lower Rpms feels faster even though the TQ peak never changed
im doing a 302 rebuild turning it into a roller with a twisted wedge top end....I still have to find all of the other intake and ect... and would like to find advice on carb or fuel injected?
I can't find a video or explanation of how these valves work. Sure they tell you what they do but they don't tell you how they do it. My master has the proportioning valve built in, I'd like to know how it's supposed to work.
I dont understand how the bolt holes didn’t line up? If all the aftermarket stuff bolted up then so should this. Other than that, looks like a great product 👍 I’m looking at getting the sway car system with quick disconnects.
My stock '73 probably not. My dual shock full cage former short course racer on the other hand has probably been off the ground as much as on it!😂
Nice hairpiece 👍🏼
Why did you choose to use a newer cooler instead of the original power steering cooler?
Love it!
What does it mean to put a cover sheet on your tps
Putting efi on my 73 Super Beetle w/ 2095cc engine.
I had to replace my exhaust manifold gaskets due to a exhaust leak. But now the bolts keep loosening up. The bolts may be worn down? Should I try new bolts?
Thank you ,you really help me out

Not real men? How’s about a medical doctor who does house calls to patients in small villages in Mexico, often using 4x4?
Ford bein Ford eh? lol jk
Great Video but too bad your bronco didn't have the headliner/factory wiper housing and back vertical support beams as these add a whole new degree of difficulty.
isnt the sniper considered the best EFI for the money?
I am going to invite you again to come to Cookeville and check out my 1973 I am restoring. I bought it new in Jan. 1973 and has only had me as owner. Would really like to let you film my progress. Adjusting doors is my stumbling block now.
Don't under stand why people say well informed info? Still don't know what "it" is, other than take out break light warning switch, then put 6$ "it" part in?
Any issues with the vent lines leaking fuel with steady flow when you fill the tank full?
Use longer bolts with a spacer, more bolt stretch to keep tension on.
I'm in the same spot with the lower ball joint just wanting to spin. My concern is that pushing on the bottom of it with a floor jack could dislodge the seating of the ball joint. I realize it has a clip but...
Question: my pump only makes 7psi max or 90 gph at 5psi. I also installed a regulator to have a return line in the system. I set the reg on around 5 psi and I wonder if the reg will ever opened because of the low pressure or in other words the system cannot create overpressure. Am I wrong?
Can anyone recommend their favorite carpet for a '67? Thank you!
So it was just the way you set your intake?
Great!🛻👍🏻⚡️
So wanted to see about the Hellwig Bar, but just one correction, there WAS a firstgen Bronco with a Factory Swaybar, and the 1977 I'm deleting right now has one, that being said it's not MUCH of a Swaybar because they clamped the ends onto the Radius Arms only and not the frame, mating the Radius arms does work, but not very well. Just figured I'd put that out there. If anyone looks at their radius arms and sees a single hole through the middle of the Radius arm about 3.5" behind the rear shock mounting that would be your factory Swaybar hole for the rear swaybar bracket that was likely deleted.
I am planning to go Godzilla. I know it's alot of work but the Coyote is also and it's pretty common. Both engines will give you today's dependability and drivability. It's been a year so I'll have to watch your remaining videos to see which way you went. But if you went Godzilla you are my new best friend. Woooooo!
TOTALLY WHAT I NEEDED!! ThankYou!! #StupidPasswords
Punch the pin out! Never use a grinder
I have one of these double cardon joints in the driveshaft of my 1972 Chevrolet Caprice why???? its factory i just did the joints and replaced the cardon hub completely because it is not serviceable on the center ball joint on mine
Thanks
Surprised with the little cameos you did, that italian job didnt make the cut. Edward Norton stole one in it.
The coyote engine gives you the most $ for resell. Most of those rebuilds are going over $100,000. With rebuilders like Velocity, they are reselling Coyote rebuilds for almost $300,000. Some are over 300. So the 8 speed or 10 speed trans bolted up to a coyote is the top selling configuration. I don't know what the Godzilla option is but it sounds interesting. I bought a Ford Racing 302 crate motor for mine because I don't plan on reselling and it produces 340 hp. That's not 465 like the coyote, but its respectable on the light Bronco. My three speed will light up the tires, but so will a trans break or a front brake on an automatic 10 speed. investing 20,000 to make an extra 50,000 does seem like a good idea whereas investing 8,000 to break even on a normal build is cheap, but renders cheap payback. It's another example of you get what you pay for. If I had the money, I'd go the coyote route. I've seen motor w/trans used for around 12000. To get the money on a used one though, you might need to rebuild them. So for a new set up from Ford Racing it would be between 20-30,000.
I actually want to go from Efi to carb on my f150 302 but I’m lost smh
Awesome channel! Learned alot from you! In the process of doing this install. Can anyone tell me how to reroute the exhuast pipes or have pics to show? The tank is butting up against the exhuast right now.. Yikes! Appreciate any assistance you can give.
How did you do the lift gate seal in the corners? My top has a gusset and the seal won’t fit around it.
Which box did you end up getting? Can you share the link please.
I wish I had my 1966 Bronco I had in high school. This looks like a V8. Mine was a 6 cylinder. It was light and wouldn’t sink (as bad) in the Mississippi mud and sandbars. It was hard to get it stuck. I’d take the top and doors off and take girls out on dates in it. ❤️
"Promosm" ✋
nice video, struggling with the sound sounds like your behind a wall, need better microphones
Is the Better Bronco challenge material available anywhere? very interested in learning more, but it appears the link for the course no longer works.
The Swiss cheese year.thin frame and large voids punched in the side rails.
So do I have to remove the already existing fuel pump ??? And if so what do I put ?
Suggestions on who could help me restore my 1988 Bronco II. It’s been sitting for 13 years. I am the original owner. Would like to change to 4x4 and lift. Not sure about motor.
Talk too much.
