For living in Tampere for my whole life of 25 years it's always fascinating to see people finding new stuff that I usually don't even acknowledge in everyday life.
I love my city but I recommend not coming here until like 2020, the center of the city is basically one big construction site as of now

Because we drink milk with everything
Finland is one of those minor countries where we drink milk om every meal and sometimes just for thirst (this is totally normal)
It is
Se on normaalia
too much milk is not healthy
Not anymore. And yeah milk is only healthy if you drink it maximum 1 glass a day
Fun fact, Tampere is the city where Lenin and Stalin met for the first time.
Sasu actual fun factt :)
Tattista vaan.
Kommarit vittu
Very fun fact
I saw that in the museum.
What about näsinneula
I'm glad they didn't show it. Tampere has more to offer than just that.
Näsinneula on Tampereen persereikä
Torille?
Ketä kiinnostaa.
That's true. The most relevant part of the city, its icon, its landmark.

This is a really well done episode :) loved the camera and music, and Janek was laugh-out-loud funny at times. Big thumbs up for you guys exploring the non-touristy cities and regions as well!
Moomin museum gets direct travel package from Japan for tourists who absolutely love Moomins... They usually arrive with two full busses ^_^
I just spent a week in Prague going through hours of your videos about Prague - and tested it out myself :)
Next week I'm going to Tampere for work, but I have one extra day to spend there, and what a nice surprise to stumble upon you guys again. Thanks, Im now really looking forward to it!
3:33 "Ach jo, I'm sure this is like Finnish trdelník"
Czenglish (Czech and English) on point! Well done Janek
Great video once again Janek & Honza. good to see the channel is growing!
Always enjoy when i am researching a. New city and a video from Janek and Hamza shows up
Love this! I have seen ur other videos before but not these videos from finland and i am so happy that you had a nice time here In Finland💗love this
That's actually pretty interesting to see a youtube video about my home town, and see that the thing i think is normal and boring is apparently very new and fresh to tourists.
Love all your videos. Such high on enthusiasm and great info about your whereabouts. Want to go there :)
I missed so many. must come back again. thank you HG
Great job 👍
Please make videos about Cesky krumlov, olomouc ,Krakow ,Warsaw etc
Thank you for sharing this video.
The city is beautiful, everything is clean!!
Oh what a great video and views! You captured the most of it imo! Nicely done mate!
shoutout to Janek, been following these videos for awhile now and they get me in good mood. Keep on the good work ! :) greetings from Norway
you are very gifted (with your guiding skills) and i love your videos keep on!
The fact that someone finally talks about FInland impressed me, thank you for the really beautiful video!! (Maybe some more about Oslo/Stockholm, Malmo etc..?)
Need more episodes of Janek fun facts he read on Wikipedia! :D
I visited Tampere last year..its amazingly beautiful.. 😀 people were so helpful and kind..kiitos..
Awesome! Gotta love the beautiful Suomi!
I am going to Tampere next week and I am so excited!!
Wow you really showed the best parts of Tampere :D I live there and I've never seen the city that beautifull haha. Great guys!
I was an exchange student for a whole year in Tampere, I gotta say Tampere was my favorite of all cities and I liked it waaay more than Helsinki. I miss it❤️
I'm planning to visit Tampere for the first time in the summer. Thanks for the tips!
I have been there several times from Turkey. It is a very nice city with lovely people.
Well done video! I think you guys covered most of the important places there.
Thank you for all the love you have given me Tampere -visited 5 years back ,Lovely people -great place :you are the best ! Maybe I have visited in summer - Tampere taught me in that summer -Life is a Party !
every place in the world is beautiful and special so we have to enjoy this beautiful nature
I lived here and honestly, it was beautiful. I definitely recommend going.
I lived in Turku, Finland for 10 months while studying at Erasmus. Absolutely loved it. Finns are strange people. But I really like their strangeness. Very friendly once you get to know them. I haven't been to Tampere yet but I have only heard good things about that place. 7€ for a beer at an amazing location in Finland isn't really way over the top as I found the usual price at a bar would be 6€-8€ and 7€ for Hoogarten is good price I think. Finns drink lots of milk. If you go to Lounas (lunch offer at restaurants or universities), they even have to serve you milk for the governmentaly compensated lounas meals. Great country, great video. Thanks for posting it!
guys should make a video about good / bad /cheap /expensive hotels in prague! also a video about what to see in 24 hours step by step! love the channel!
Yes this is a great idea!
I'd love to visit Tampere and Turku next time I'm visiting Helsinki. Thanks for tips.
Fun to watch a video about my home town!😆
You covered it all! Though I would recommend also kayaking, wasn't pricey and the view from middle of the lake was amazing. If sauna, find some with lake as a cooling pool 😃
Ok must say one of the best videos by the quality i have ever seen
This place looks amazing!! Thanks again!
Awesome video! You showed exactly what Tampere is made of!
Dude. I love your honesty. Always wanted to visit Finland!
Very odd to come across this video while planning my first trip to Prague. I used to live in a student apartment right next to the sauna/swimming area you seemed a bit perplexed by - it's beautiful in the summer (when it's quite a bit warmer) and in winter, when it's fully frozen and you can walk across that massive lake.
That weird looking high building that you can see also in the video when you are at Pispala, is "Haulitorni". In english its "Shottower" or something like that. It was used to make shotgun shots, making them as round as possible. There is a pipe where they put the shots, and when the shots rolled down, the pipe made them round. Its not used to that anymore, and you can actually visit the tower and climb there to see extremely beautiful sight from up there. :)
ei sinne kyllä kiivetä voi...
I lived in Tampere for a year - 25 years ago. I love it and have been back many times. Ihana 🇫🇮💙🇫🇮
I like the Idea you starting to visit other cities , keep it up and visit more cities , it is a reach topic
wow he can actually make tampere look good! nicely done!
Going there for a whole year starting in 3 weeks :-). So excited.
It would be cool to have a behind the scenes of the show!
The best sugar donuts in Tampere are in Nekala , konditoria Mari. Ask for Vaniljamustikkamunkki (vanillablueberrysugardonut)
I lived there for 9 months back in 2005/2006. I loved my time in Tampere :)
Enjoyable video, díky Janku, especially appreciated having visited Tampere in JANUARY (!) 2001 when everything was snowed under & super cold! I also liked the blood sausage (off the hotel breakfast buffet), being Czech / Pražák who enjoys such specialty meats & smoked sausages . I also eat reindeer, grilled meat with type of sauerbraten gravy, delicious. Eating reindeer seems to be a part of Finish culture, just like beer is for the Czechs, and I'll drink to that - na zdraví!
Ainoo hyvä nähtävyys on laikunlavan narkomaanit
Your videos are the best among the current lot.
Tampere is 238 years old today!
Ice hockey is very big there, Ilves and Tappara both are local teams.
I'm Tampere-bound for the fall semester!!! I will be an Erasmus exchange student and i can't wait to see!!!
Perfect timing since the new tram will be in operation by then, meaning the city centre won't be a big construction site anymore. The weather towards winter can be a bit of a culture shock to some though. 🙂
Anyhow, welcome to Tampere! 😊
nice video. thinking about studying there atm. looks like a good place to stay
U guys should have visited Porvoo, too. Anyway glad to see episodes from Finland - not a Finn but lived there for a while. Good to see it again.
Great job with the video or hups i mena hyvää työtä videon kanssa!
Your finnish pronunciation is pretty spot on.
I like your vids! Especially on Sundays... I can watch them at my house on TV! When are you going to come to Mexico?
Best town in Finland to visit. But to live too. I miss Tampere so much.
Thanks ... Your videos always the Best for traveling ...
Oooooh I miss my second home city! Funny how some of the cafes you recommend are ones that I only was taken to by friends when I went back to visit, haha... Would LOVE to try Naughty Burger for sure! It wasn't there 10 years ago.
You should've visited the Hydraulic Press Channel :D
why? ew
I visited this beautiful city in 2013 and stayed there for a week. There are some interesting places in the city, the place where the first electrical bulb lighted up in Nordic area, the spy museum, the Angry bird theme park, the fantastic lakes and beach, the Hermia science park. The best way to feel Tampere is riding bikes, just like the vlogger did. Tampere, a lovely, scenic city I hope to visit again.
My city!!!! 👍
You guys are so lucky
Okei hyvä
You guys really lucky. i am unlucky because iam living in Turkey.
Hey, Janek.
You should totally visit Ireland, particularly a city called Waterford. It is the oldest city here. Plus, it is world famous for it's viking history.
If you do visit, please lemme know so I can say hi!
PS: I love your videos!
Blood sausage is amazing, it's like black pudding in UK. It used to be popular in Latvia as well but now it's hard to find it.
That's an impressive pronunciation of Tampere 😁
I spent 1month in Tampere and I swear I think I Went to all the coffee shops there. Hahaha I Love walking around that City! I Miss it sooooo much.
I'm visiting Tampere next month for a few days and really looking forward to it, never been to Finland before but always wanted to visit, and it looks like Tampere is a great place to come to! 🙂
A great addition to my bucket list :)
Nice video! 🔥And btw it doesn't matter where you are in Finland, the weather will change as fast 😂
When will you re upload the Helsinki guide? It was lovely, but I cannot find it anymore 💔
Janek, I can't believe you don't like sauna. I'm sure Honza must love it.
Awh more finland! I’m glad you love our country
Wonderful colors and beautifully shot. Eezy
Thanks lots for the video. :D
Would be really helpful if u guys could make a video about budget accommodation, hostels, etc other than airbnb and couch surfing..
Very cool and fun video!
I was in Tempere 3 years ago. For 3 days, no plans just to explore. Found many hing to do and see. Just from walking round
And what is also nice about our country is that there is no tourist scammers, unless the scammers are foreigners that also try to scam the Finns 😂 cons in Finland: Expensive country.
Tampere is such an awesome place! been there once to visit friends. it so beautyful and the people are so nice....
Next Destination Norway ? :) btw nice video :)
In from finland!! And i love Tampere
1:57 You don't actually climb up the Pyynikki tower but just the opposite, you can descend from there.
Tampere is in my opinion the best summer city in finland. Always something going on like festivals and such. And for some reason I feel like the people are really nice compared to other finnish cities, and I'm saying this as a finn
I haven't been there, but did visit Turku, and am kinda impartial to that city. Oulu was great, too. I went to Nurmes last year (it was mainly a train holiday, and Nurmes seemed a quirky destination), and although it was very quiet, I kinda enjoyed it, too.
Finnish tourism ministery has so much to learn from you guys :)
Oasis in the finish! 👏👏👏
May I ask what happened to Prague taxis?
Cat Cafe, bunny Cafe, moomin museum, also the tower hotels bars bathrooms where the wall is glass
Why didn't you go to Särkänniemi the amuesment park?
Soooo good and the perfect places
Hey. Have you ever visit Rovaniemi yet?!. If not come here and seek out the ”laplands wonder” best time to come here, is in fall or in the wintertime,
You should visit Nokia, Finland if you're near Tampere ever again (yes, it's a city and it's right next to Tampere) just to try "kuuma koira" which is just a straight tranlation for hot dog but it has a sugar bun and honestly it's the best thing you can get from a grill. Personally I like the "nokialainen" more, it's basically the same thing but just with a hamburger patty instead of a sausage. There's not much more to the city, but there's like a nokian tyres factory and a few lakes. And a bowling alley. And a dead mall. The city centre is pretty much dead but at least it's super peacefull. Also hmu if you're coming ever, I can tell you guys some places to visit.
Best CZcamsr 👌👏🍷
