You should brave the adelphi in Liverpool. That is one that's a shame to see go to ruin. Norbreck seems to have improved somewhat. As long as it's clean enough can't complain for the money
Real wood, not particle board, but needs varnish. Bathroom is great. Livley filled entertainment room. Ballroom is amazing. restaurant or lobby with many different levels-it all looks good to me.
The Norbreck takes some flack but it is what it is, its rough, old and worn out but its cheap and comfortable and provides a decent base for a weekend away, what more do you need?
You need a forensics kit to check deeper. Pull the sheet off . Check mattress and actual pillows and then say how good the rooms are. You would be suprised and shocked
tell you what ,for once it was a fair and realistic review ,maybe your the type who would be pulling the sheets off ,my advice pay more and stop moaning ,looked too be plenty off people staying there

I stayed at this hotel on route to Minehead. The worst hotel ever, the stench is appalling, breakfast dreadfull. Fooled by the pictures.😂😂😂
I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse
Travelodge is a better option

I come to this hotel 3 times a year the breakfast is good and never had a problem with any rooms
