Being near to the south shore rather than the middle or a bit north it's quite a hike to the entertainment areas. & No lift or ramp for disabled access. So, no thanks for me. But, for £6 p.p. p.n it's far from perfect but, what do expect for that price. If you want better quality & expectations then pay more a lot more & then you should get it. Simple. If your on a bit of a tight budget fine. But, go elsewhere if your expecting more.

Give it six months and that place will be fucked. It's not luxury, it's a holiday inn.

So for 2 people , 7 nights B&B . £84 for the room , £42 for breakfasts , total £126 ... They should be booked solid . Another reason to support this place , they were approached by the authorities asking if it could be used for immigrant accommodation , they politely declined.

Looks like the room needs a good scrub, I couldn't stay there , I would be bothered when you kept saying you weren't bothered, filthy yuk,

No wonder the wanker who owns Britannia hotels was so keen to sign up, paid to house the scrounging bastards then free re dec.They were shit holes pre pandemic anyway so housing the economic migrants must have been a right result for them. As others have said I wouldn’t stay for free.

I love Blackpool and always stay at the Big Blue. It's not ridiculous but not cheap either. I'm always fascinated by the wee B&Bs though and wonder who stays in them, and do they have a nice stay. Like other commenters have said - this channel is great for showing you can holiday on a budget and also great for the wee B&Bs as it shows they're maybe not as scary as people think.

At my stage in life wouldn't be my choice but you can't knock it for the money on a tight budget or a family brilliant love how fair you are

I've just done a 2 night stay at the San deiogo near the pleasure beach...£45 for 2 Nights in peak season....it was fine,...cleanish..old fashioned...but I felt reasonablely comfortable...on the way back to i fancied an Extra night in Llandudno.. Saturday... premier inn quoted £182!!! Travelodge £160...pisstake

The knobs behind the bed are used to hang your socks on and wire hanging off the wall is pointing to the kettle if you forget where it is.

Towels on beds is standard hotel practice. This is all over the world, even high end.

There's 2 of them knob things on the wall so I would think it supported a headboard, bed would be helped with a mattress protector

For the price that's not bad at all! They surely lose money on the cooked breakfast, there's no way you can get the ingredients in plus gas/electric and it come under £3! Also a recommendation is the Palace Hotel in Buxton. It's a Britannia but really nice (especially the rooms on the 3rd floor) although it can be a bit pricey at weekends, I've stayed there as cheap as £50 before now (£5 to park). I almost always stay in Britannias since I love old original characterful buildings (Adelphi being my favourite since I love art deco), plus they're cheap too. Never had a problem always clean bedding and bathrooms at the very least, and like you always had a spotless kettle haha.

Sorry that's not for me. But I can see how reasonable it is.

I do a lot of cycle touring, a 1 man tent and l can't recall ever paying less than that for a patch of grass. 😁

There are some nice little hotels along St Chads Road. I once stayed in the Birch Villa and that was quite decent although we are talking about 20 years ago now though.

Definitely agree regarding prices of the so called budget chain hotels (Premier Inn/Travelodge), they have shot up. I think for a lot of people, it's the familiarity of those chains, they know what to expect and most likely what they are going to get. People are quite understandably uneasy about booking somewhere they are not so sure about.

Love your videos but would like to more of the lobby, lift areas and when you go into the corridors as I hate when you need to use your room key to access everything.
