I wish my 33 year old Drake R8 worked. I bought the re-cap , bit its a big job. I will get around to it one day. When it worked, it rocked.

    Thank you for the video
the solar storm is missing things up
As you said the Belka is
    comparable to more costly and
    known radios

Thanks for the video that storm wrestled the best of the receivers into the mud (of RF noise) …😊!
    Have a great day! 73!

Thanks for the nice review, the Belka is with usb. c charging Port?
Other question what do you think the Belka our the Malachite DSP2 sdr receiver? That cost around 300 Euro on Alieexpres.
    Thanks

Belka has micro usb charge port. Belka is a better receiver than a Mal DSP2, I know because I have both. The dsp2 is very finicky regarding sensitivity, it can not handle the signal from a Wellbrook. But, it is still a nice radio and it has a nice spectrum scope. Using both outdoors on the whips in a quiet location I might choose the DSP2

@@dieselten01 ok thanks for quick response. Micro usb is a deal-breaker for me. So I go for the DSP2. Thanks again, would be nice to show both working if you has some time in the future.

I have the belka dx , i tested it at 15 mhz this week because i bought a rohde et schwarz rf generator 😊. The sensitivity is: at 2.4 microvolt i hear the 1khz in the noise and it's not really a sinus on the scope, at 7microvolts,the sound is good and the 1khz sinus is good..
I'll will compare with the k5 receiver.
I am searching the true method to characterize the sensibility..
I really like this receiver it's the one i have with a quancheng k5 i bought only for test 🤣🤣

What a useless waist of time!
Why on earth would you post a 20 minute video of no reception?
Seriously, trying again when conditions are such that a legitimate comparison could be had is definitely in order.
