The US-Mexico border has seen its fair share of conflicts. But as of 2024, it’s worse than ever. From cartel wars to people smuggling and an all-out war between state and federal troops in the US, things escalated to a point of no return.
After footage of little children crying as they try to walk through barbed wire emerged early this year, the situation became clear to everyone. Illegal immigration and people smuggling are real problems that plague the border and cost lives every single day.
And as the US is divided on how to handle this problem, Mexican cartels are using the chaos to their advantage.

Most can not go in the “ right “ way, stated in the video, a basic education and necessities is considered a luxury. Yes, it would be ideal if they could get in the legal way, but it is not available. it is a privilege to not live in fear of a cartel and to live another day. Is it really so wrong to strive for a better life even at the means of illegal tactics? To not want your children to be victims of the monstrosities witnessed day-to-day in mexico? without a government’s help? Mexican drug transfers would not be occurring if america did not have a huge demand for a consumption of these drugs. Why blame the people trying to get a better life when the consumption of drugs is what is actively pushing these immigrants to horrors and need to resort to these illegal means. You say get in the legal way but only because you are able to neglect and deny the causes and the incentive you provide for these drug transactions.

Homeless vets is due to america’s lack of resources and accommodation ( also debatable, military offers a lot of accommodation’s and recourses, most of these homeless vets do not search enough for them ) You’re critiquing the immigrants for putting their children is these harsh conditions, but don’t think as to WHY they would resort to it. Lack of help from the government to prevent these cartels from getting as strong and the violence’s caused by them, lack of an education and stability, constant destitute. They would rather put their children to this pain, to live a better life in the long run in America, rather than force them to be another part of a vicious cycle that constantly continues in Mexico.

Why should illegal immigration take precedence setting visa applications back almost a decade! Also, as far as veterans it can take 41 months or longer to get your case seen.

It is not the immigrants fault that their government has failed them, not being able to fix due to the corruption of it. If you’re worried about your country, focus on the reason as to why they transport drugs into america. Your country is the biggest consumer and economical provider for these cartels. The same cartel you’re worried about getting into your country. before you pin the blame on immigrants trying to get out of a cycle that you are helping, you are also neglecting your part of it. You are the consumer subjecting these people to these drastic means. You can not provide an incentive for these criminals then get upset about them wanting more economical gain from the same country that has always been their top consumer.
