Community Energy - delivering responsibly sourced energy for London

The London Assembly Environment Committee has published its new report on Community Energy in London.
The Committee heard from expert stakeholders, including Community Energy London, on the benefits and challenges associated with community energy projects.
The report makes 8 recommendations to the Mayor and Government, including:
- Increase the funding of the Mayor’s London Community Energy Fund
- Support London Boroughs to develop their own Community Energy Funds
- Additional planning guidance to remove planning barriers to installing solar panels
