  • In this video, we add a shifter, wheel bearings, balance the wheels, add brakes, and a battery! It runs and drives a lot better than it did before but the brakes will be separated from the clutch in a future video!

      What did you mean by, "The govorner on this engine, is dont be stupid"? I know thats not really important, what im really asking is, did you remove the govorner?

      @@MrRandy-ti3jr It means that I bypassed it, and the "don't be stupid" part is holding it full throttle until it blows

    Turn your voltage up and wire speed down. Fluxcore or not you can still make uniform beads it’s all about technique. I’d grind those welds back off before they break but that’s just me. I dig the build ideas tho

      Yeah your right but I'm kind of new to the welding thing but I am learning and getting better at it! So far they are holding.

    New sub here love the build I got 2 racing mower my self

  • @sterlingsmakesandadventure5563

    I also lost brakes going about 30 down my road. I pushed the clutch in and the pedal broke off due to the spring being too heavy. I had to put a chain link in there to make it a little looser and weld the petal back on and it works fine now. I have a 1982 dynamark and it's currently being worked on because it now has engine issues. I think the timing might be off and I need a new solenoid. Your doing a amazing job on your mower. And BTW I love Cars and Cameras

      Yeah but the shifter is completely isolated and is right next to the seat on the far side.

    The transaxle case is aluminum so the rust remover won't have much effect lol.

    Will the lawn mower go faster by the governor or not

    • @IngenTechNational
      @IngenTechNational  Před 2 lety +1

      I mean if you bypass it, it revs higher(more rpm) and yeah it is faster but not too high cuz you will blow it up!

    Have you thought about center of gravity? Front rear weight balance? Or does that matter in race mowers

    • @IngenTechNational
      @IngenTechNational  Před 2 lety +2

      @@IngenTechNational you don't need rod ends to make a decent tie rod... Those wheels have too much camber you want pretty much 0 camber when straight.. the kingpin inclination cambers the wheels when turned and you want lots of caster too
