Knowing it took you three tries to pass the exam, that you nearly gave up on Salesforce, and took a year to land a job, is so comforting and gives me hope.

@@Marylanderstoday I would say as soon as your Admin Certified you should focus an effort on applying. You should also work on building your LinkedIn network and professional brand while working on your certification. Now and then you may have companies reach out to you and ask if you'd like to interview even though you aren't certified yet those opportunities you should pursue. However I wouldn't advise actively applying until you're certified.
@@Marylanderstoday You can start any time, but getting the cert and some experience building a small demo org will help you land interviews. You could find an end-user position before getting certified so you can start using Salesforce. Those roles would be more like customer service or something in sales.

I know this video is a little bit old but I'm so grateful to hear you say that the first month felt like learning a foreign language. I'm about 2 weeks in and it's making a little sense. (very little). I come from a nursing background, so it's totally new to me. Your videos are wonderful and I'm so happy you shared your experience! I did my research on the $2499 option and, versus the $2197 option, the more expensive one does come with the Personalized LinkedIn 1:1 Profile Review and the Personalized 1:1 Interview Prep with Action Plan. That said, I decided I'd try to get the certification first before I even consider purchasing this.

Thanks so much! So overall, yes, Salesforce is still a great career to get into and make good money, However, currently it's pretty tough to land a job. It's possible, but a bit harder than a few years ago.
And I'll be transparent that your age may make it even more difficult unfortunately.

Do you speak/understand English well? It shouldn't be a problem if so. Salesforce can also be set in many languages and is used worldwide!

So i did the 5 day program and just received an email for the Development Program and im just wondering how often will this be available? I Want to apply but i may need some time till i can afford it.

TalentStacker definitely isn't required whatsoever to land a job! It's just a very helpful tool for guidance, you should definitely try on your own in the mean time!
Work through the Salesforce admin trail on trailhead, update your LinkedIn, study, etc.
TS also does offer a payment plan if you do decide to join!
Did talent stacker pay your certification fees ? Is it included in 2500 dollers
It doesn't cover the certification cost but sometimes they do giveaways and there are usually vouchers out there with $100-$140 off!
Not, but the program recomends you suscribe to Focus on Force (other payed program) and Focus on Force give ou free boucher.
