Never been seasick yet but sometimes when I get home from fishing when I take a shower and close my eyes and lean my head back feels like I’m still on the boat.

Same. I don't fish offshore much, only intercoastal or the local river on a pontoon. Never been seasick, but if I'm out for more than 2 hours I get that "still on a boat" feeling for the rest of the night. It's not unpleasant, but definitely noticeable.
I do feel that if I fished offshore, especially in a smaller boat with swells, I would without a doubt get sick.

So mostly inland waters for me, wind waves no problem, but swells are different....I ORDERED SOME KWELLS!

Same for me, older I get the more sensitive. I get dizzy super easy now.
My stepmom has been taking it forever.. but like Matt said it works but you do feel weird as hell....and alotta of times it'll leave u with a horrible headache later in the day. But no doubt its the best if you wanna fish and not puke lol

We got some serious butt sick at 1st on small boats and canoes not knowing how to be on them at sea.

That was awesome that you took your team out for their first time on a boat and to fish. I can see it with Justin that he's hooked on fishing! He'll never forget his first fish, especially a big one, and afterward, he was locked in watching the rod on the downrigger so he wouldn't miss the strike while still feeling sick.

I’m so glad you made this video. I always get sea sick when I go ocean fishing. But no matter what I take it never works. Going back out for the first time since the pandemic hit next month and I just ordered some kwells! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Slice up some fresh ginger boil it in a pot of water then add sugar and or milk if it tastes too strong !
And it wouldn't hurt to eat a bunch of ginger snaps !
The main idea should be is to consume plenty of it
I was on a charter fishing boat several years ago launching out of Emeryville. We took a 3 hour tour for lingcod and rockfish. Two hours in I was feeling it. Then...someone decided to smoke to get their queasiness under control. That puff of smoke triggered my seasickness. And maaaan, none of y'all know what being seasick is until you experience it. One of the worst day of my life!! lol Couldn't even stand up to fish because I was too busy curled up in a fetal position. Never again....
ExactLy the same for me but just the boat exhaust. Slept the whole trip. Waste of money.

Never been sea sick , though I was good until I went on the kayak for the fourth time and had crazy swells. Then I realized I get motion sickness, not fun to deal with. You guys killed it keep up the good work 👍

I have watched your videos since the beginning and I have enjoyed all the places that you go and the people that you bring. I have never been seasick. I have always loved being on the water. Around here; the Gulf, people swear by the big pickle. Try it, I hope it works for you.

EXCELLENT topic for a video!! I've been on a party boat 3 times; 1st time was out in Pacifica and it was July '92 and the water was like glass! Didn't get sick, but I felt it a little, but it was REALLY fun! 2nd time; got brave and cocky and went in March '93 to the Farallons...my pole NEVER even hit the water!! Chum City for me, baby!! it was hella rough!! I was wrecked for days! 3rd time; went outta Half Moon Bay and I got sick AGAIN!! After that, I was like, I'm done. And I ain't been out since. So this was a VERY instructional video, so thank you!!🙏👍
Hello ! I've got family that get sea sick, just looking at swells from land !! Way way back in the early 90's my Dad, and brother bought the anti seasickness device called The Relief Band. Life changer for them. No drowsiness, no side effects, it can be adjusted for MORE relief if necessary. The battery is replaceable. Check around online, bur they work flat out. My wife uses one on car rides, my daughter uses on on curvy roads. I'm blessed with no motion sickness issues, but I feel for everyone who does. I bought the newer version a couple yrs back, but it gets use every year. I keep 2 on my boat, they can be used at anytime. Love the channel.

Thanks for the video. Don't drink orange juice, don't sit down, have rigs ready to fish, don't forget to take your pill at the right times. I take one Bonine or non drowsy Dramamine the night before and a half pill in the morning. I usually get a little feeling of it early but am good in a couple hours. It's totally debilitating for me. Has ruined a few trips completely. I'm always good within 15 min of hitting shore.
You guys are so funny. I always found if I ate a good meal and had a full stomach before getting onboard I won't get sea sick. I bring extra gas station sandwiches when I go on party boats. I've saved dozens of people from having miserable days on the water.
I'm the other way. I get on the boat on empty and get the first puke out pretty fast and a little later have a couple beers and I'm fine. lol !

I spent alot of time ocean fishing out of Ilwaco through past the mouth of the Columbia. I've never been seasick.But I've never made fun of anyone getting sick. That would jinx it. It can happen to anyone even me. I'm so sorry! I miss the ocean so much. I could cry. It's been many years. Love your videos🤩

the Tense wristbands work for me. I once got sick 5 times out of Pillar Point on my Boston Whaler, and omg, the little electric shocks from the seasick band works!!!

I used to go deep sea fishing with my pop when I was a youngster, 44 years ago was the last time I went fishing and my pop told me to look out at the horizon. Nice video and I bet that fresh salmon was awesome.

I've been there one time. If I'm in any seas above 5', I take dramamine well ahead of time...for sure. Any seas past 10', I stay home. Congratulations on your first fish! That one was bigger than any of the minnows Daniel has caught! Ba hahaha!

That was a great testament to how well the Kwells works for you. Just to let you know, Kwells is also available in Europe for about $4.50 a box in Ireland, or was it Scotland 🤔. My brother was on vacation and he picked some up for me. I still have not tried them yet but I have given them to my youngest son who always gets motion sick. So far so good for him. He still gets sick but he has not vomited since using Kwells. I have not been brave enough to try them yet, I am still using the Scopolamine patch.

I went sea fishing for the first time a few weeks ago and I was fine. In a small boat like yours too. My thought of mind was that the boat floor was now the new ground that you don't see at all. Used my leg muscles to balance and level out my upper body.

I've been fishing the ocean for 30 something odd years and I never got seasick until I got older and became disabled. Now my legs are stuck kind of stiff and I get seasick all the time...... don't stop me fishing though. I've puked on many a fish while it's being landed in the net

From personal experience, you can train your brain and legs to anticipate swells by taking advantage of their predictable frequency. Inner ear/brain gets confused when what you see and feel dont coincides with what you are actually experiencing, i.e. looking at something static when you are actually bobbling around.
The scopolamine patches u can get are the best I love em they work really well and last a long time.
I got seasick and chummed only once.
Ab diving with a hangover. Not a fun dive. LOL. The cold water helped.
