And what's the other possibility.. because the first one we all know.. is there any other that doesn't involve having the old turbo?
What about if we don t have the old one?
Do you lengthen or shorten the actuator arm to increase boost ?
Shorten it lad. EVery full 360 turn shud be one pound of boost
@@richardmaddocks9058 I had actuator arm all the way down and got check engine light underboost
Mine does'nt reach the stop screw at all. vanes so carboned/rusted that they cant reach it ? should the leaver reach the stop screw in any case?
yes it should
@@colinhagan4378 hey i just want know the vanes must not be closed at all or stay open a little and is that the adjustment of the screw to let the vanes stay open a little or must they be closed thank u
The lever should reach the stop at which point is where the vanes should be open a little bit, thats the basic setting on the bench.

So actuator pulls down to add boost ?
yes
@@colinhagan4378 i wanna ask, you can lower the stock boost by that ? sorry for my english :D
Thats a wrong way to do it
So what is a better way?
I changed the core and now I have to fine-tune everything. Thx
