Alina will always have this for me. Light as air, so in time with the music, and she makes those Italian fouettés look effortless! Obviously they’re all outstanding dancers but I watch Alina’s interpretation almost daily just as a mood boost. Bravo to all of them 👏
I love Alina too in this, but it’s so old. Maybe it keeps being shown because it’s such a standard bearer. I’d like to see newer footage so we can see who’s dancing it today. That said, Maria keeps getter better and better in this variation, and Fumi is beautiful. Thank you for posting!
That's Alina's magic - she is always so musical. Musicality is not out of fashion and never will be! No matter how neglected it's

Alina Somova. Light, graceful, amazing lines and extension.
Somova masters the répertoire, her physique and musicality sets her apart from the rest.
They’re all lovely of course but the second girl, Somova, just beautiful! So light and delicate 🩰🩰🩰🩰🩰🩰👵🇦🇺
In this, I think Somova, for her artistry and those awesome fouettés.... so effortless- looking and light! They are all three amazing though.

Alina Somova. This variation suits her perfectly. She has the longest legs and long arms.
Kaneko is also good .Its just her natural body is not looking good with high- leg lifted moves not due to her technique.
Maria Khoreva has very good clear lines and technique. She is so inspiring. Very good performer too. Love her ❤️
Maria Khoreva has beautiful - - dancer's lines - - and impressive movements of the arms. Principal dancer - - Alina Somova of course - - posesses those superb - - high extensions. I like Kaneko's interpretation - - too. Thank you - - @ DanceLine Ballet for sharing.

Alina is no doubt the best of three. Maria will take a few years to mature and commend the role. Kaneko has her interpretation, but from distance, it may not come through for a live audience.
The only Queen on that stage was La SOMOVA.

I absolutely love the Royal Ballet's version of this variation, and Fumi Kaneko does a fantastic job here. The other dancers were also great, but not for me.

Alina Somova and Maria Khoreva are lovely! Orchestras are wonderful! I dont care for Fumi Kaneko. Melisa Hamiltone is also good in variation.

Somova is simply perfect for this role. She's the grace in person and infuses the right amount of romanticism to the piece.
I'm sorry to say that Kaneko made an evident simplified version... Not in her legs at all...
Khoreva made it gracefully, but not outstanding this time, facing to Alina.
