I like watching Eva learn ballet from the girls that she films. Her facial expressions are quite fun to watch.
I like the dancers support despite the mixed result. Eva was allowed to join their nutcracker as a mouse!

Maya Schonbrunn became a SOLOIST TODAY at the RSB 🎉🥳 ❤ Madde Woo is also at the Royal Swedish ballet (not Swedish national ballet) that’s the company in Gothenburg ;) That clip is from their big rehearsal room. Yes I danced there a loooong time ago.

The fact that she is still so young and is already doing roles like Odette/Odile 😭😭 I can see her become a principal dancer in no time.

The “I’d rather be doing pirouettes” is so much funnier when you know that Tessa is know for not being a turner
(Note:her turns are fine, I’ve seen her do four clean on point but everyone at that school is insane)

I remember reading that Maya didn’t start ballet until she was 13. She had been dancing since she was little, but still. The fact that she didn’t start ballet until she was 13 and got so good so quickly…
I went to her old studio. She grew up doing ballet, it wasn’t till she was 13 that she took it more seriously and switched to Master.

But seriously Tessa is amazing, it sucks that she seems stuck on her pirouettes, though whenever she pushes through, she can do quite good, she just needs more hyping and higher self esteem

She danced Sugarplum Fairy for the Royal Ballet (I think it was?) a couple of years ago and I have the footage of it, I've watched it over and over, she's my favourite Sugarplum EVER 😌
My mother, father and I ended up in Russia as one of the stops of a cruise we were doing. My mother I both wanted to see a ballet my father very reluctantly came with us. We saw Swan Lake. After the performance my father could not stop talking about how amazing it had been. The power of dance.

Back in the late 1950s, my mother, who loved ballet, managed to persuade my stepfather, an amateur track and field athlete, to go with her to see the Bolshoi on their first visit to San Francisco. I think he was talking about Nikolai Fadeyechev when he said “That guy broke the records for broad jump and high jump simultaneously!“ He was so impressed that when my mother decided to take adult beginning ballet classes at the SFB school, he even took classes with her for a while! (But actually, I think he mainly did it to try to make his calves bigger, as he was also a bodybuilder.)

Totally keep up w these videos! I know literally NOTHING about ballet, but I'm obsessed w watching EvaNysPhotography after it randomly showed up on my feed. As did you and I am OBSESSED! The dancers you showed in this video are often the ones she highlights in hers as well. Getting to watch such talented ppl on more channels is great. Not only for us viewers, but for the exposure you're generating by picturing them on your channel. Had I not randomly come across both of you guy's channels I'd never have thought about it. I believe that you'll b helping bring a whole new and quite sizeable audience of ballet enthusiasts and giving ppl the opportunity to become fans not only of the art, but of the individual dancers themselves. I commend you for that. And so, w that entire book basically said was, yeah, I dig the videos, you should keep doing them, lol!

Yes, please do more of these ballet videos! I love watching them. I am not built like a ballerina but many, many years ago I took several ballet classes. I have SO much appreciation for what they do and how they make it look easy. It's not!
This was one of my favourite reaction clips. I could watch talented dancers all day, and to see you get as excited as I do is refreshing. It makes this old retired dancer feel less of a loser watching up and coming dancers all the time.
