I think I would agree with Molly that if/when they do Old Republic stuff, we would likely see Jedi and Sith doing more impressive/powerful Force stuff, not so much because the Force was stronger or anything like that, but because that was a time when the Jedi were more focused on serving the will of the Force rather than the will of the Republic, so they might have had a more natural or in-tune connection with the Force which would allow them to do more than what the Jedi of the Clone Wars era could do
Yeah the Jedi we see in the prequels are definitely at a point of stagnation.

Q/A: What’s your favorite Star Wars meme?
Regarding General Pryde, he's probably just a Moff Jerjerod sort of guy, but I still have a theory that when Palpatine shows up, the First Order will have a split on whether or not to support him, and having two First Order generals means that there can be a leader the audience recognizes for each side. (I'd guess that Kylo opposes Palpatine and Hux goes with him for lack of better options, while Pryde is presumably an Old Empire guy who would gladly rejoin Palpatine.)
On Snoke's backstory, I doubt we'll get all of it, but there are two relevant bits that might show up: a) his early interactions with Luke and Ben and b) his relationship to Palpatine. The early interactions part is relevant because we are still missing context about Kylo's fall, and since his maybe redemption is going to be at the heart of the movie, I think a flashback to how Snoke "corrupted" him before Luke pushed him over the edge makes sense. His Palpatine relationship is obviously contingent on the exact nature of Palpatine's return, but I feel like they have to have a line or two about whether Palpatine sees Snoke as a puppet he directly controlled, a pawn he manipulated or merely a rival who was eliminated before Palpatine had to do it himself. The biggest question is, did Snoke interfere in Palpatine's plan, hijack it, or advance it?
On the Force and the Old Republic, this is unlikely to be true, but what if the Force is a finite resource, and Jedi and Sith just burned through all of the Force energy until in the Sequel Era the galaxy can't handle more Force users than most people have fingers.
I don’t think Kylo should die, I think it’s 10x more interesting to have him turn to the light and survive as we’ve never actually seen how a person would deal with that turn, we’ve all seen a light to dark turn, the aftermath of that and the decent into darkness but we’ve never seen a dark to light turn where the person who turned survives and has to deal what what they’ve done, especially in Kylo’s case seeing as he killed his own father, he will probably exile himself forever and Rey might go with him...which would be a payoff to the “proposal” scene in TLJ, and where she says no to Kylo Ren she says yes to Ben Solo...

Q/A: If Star Wars were to do more genre-esque stories, like horror in “Red Harvest” or Western as “The Mandalorian” seems to draw from, what are some more genre-stories you guys would like to see in future films/shows/books/etc.
fightingfalcon777 I hope you don’t mind if I answer this, but your question seems really interesting. I’d like to see something like a swashbuckling movie. I know that there’s a lot of that in Star Wars already but I mean like something where two ships fight each other at some point and they like have a fight where the cannons go back and forth a lot, and then they board another ship and stuff. Maybe it involves pirates too or something but that’s something I would like. Also maybe a samurai movie, like with a Jedi who looks more like a samurai with the top knot and stuff.

Regarding the Force Abilities in the Old Republic Era, I think it would be better if Force users of that time are more powerful than the Skywalker Saga because due to the Prequel Jedi’s fear of the force and fear of power. The Jedi/Sith/Other of the past should be more willing to learn the wider range of force abilities and it would help to show why the Jedi have become the way they are in the Prequels
There's probably a lot of lost knowledge too that wasn't passed on. The amount of times the Sith/Jedi orders get nearly get erased, I can't seem to remember.

I disagree that the force is constant. It’s established that it’s an energy field created by living things. If there is a reduction in the number of living beings , the force is diminished.
So to the question you guys were answering, if there were more living beings in the ancient times then the force would be more abundant and strong. Then after generations of wars and destruction of natural habitat etc, it’s easy to picture that the force is not what it once was.
That’s what I’m going with and as you mentioned, the force is”sick” and it has called to Rey as a vessel to begin its healing.

My guess for all the characters:
Leia: She kinda inevitably has to die. I’d prefer she doesn’t, but it’s hard to avoid with Carrie Fisher’s unfortunate passing.
Rey: Lives, ending if the movie is left open-ended with her looking on to a binary sunset (or sunrise? 🤔)
Finn: Lives, I doubt they’d kill him off.
Poe: Probably survives, however if any of the big 3 were to die it would be him.
Rose: Lives.
Jannah, Zorri, all new heroes: No reason to kill them off that I see.
Hux: Definitely getting killed, no doubt about it.
Pryde: Not sure, they may pull a Tarkin on him.
Kylo Ren: I wouldn’t be surprised if he died. I think he should go away in exile, but if he dies I won’t be surprised.

No Leia doesn’t need to die. This is the last film so killing her wouldn’t really do much unless it was early in the film but that would just feel kind of cheap.

Q&A: Alex, I had brought this up in the comments of another video but figured I would bring it up again since the question was asked on this Q&A. I was thinking that the Kenobi series would be an excellent place to bring in Barriss Offee as an Inquisitor. It would make sense that she would be trying to find Obi-Wan in some sort of revenge and if she tracks him to Tattooine and discovers Luke, that would be a great way to get Kenobi to go after her. Do you think this might be what they were saving Barriss for?
**Q/A:** How do you ou think they will deal with the chosen one prophecy/Anakin now that Palpatine is back? I mean, Anakin was destined to balance the force by destroying the sith (Palpatine and "killing" Vader), and he did that and died, but now Palpatine is back? Like will the writers just ignore the prophecy with Palpatine's return (devaluing Anakin's sacrifice)?

Unfortunately I think they'll redeem Kylo Ren and then kill him. It would be way better if he was redeemed and DIDN'T die, but I don't think they have the balls to pull off such a risky move.
They gotta bring Abeloth in eventually, but heavily adapt her story. Keep the idea that she's The Mother, and that she lost her mind in the Maw. It could be a lovecraftian horror story where Abeloth is causing psychic quakes in the galaxy, driving people mad, as she begins her awakening process. Have it dovetail with Lukes storylines of looking for artifacts and force relics...Maybe hes tracking journals of the last person to look for Abeloth?

Anyone old will be killed off like Lando crashes in the Falcon, Chewie gets blasted by Storm Troopers or cut down by Kylo Ren so 3PO puts on Chewie's bandolier and uses the Wookiee's Crossbow and goes on a brave hero charge into battle but gets destroyed, R2 will also get smashed apart and Leia should die because the woman died in real life . Why does Disney want to get rid of the old characters? Disney coulda just said they all retired and flew off into the sunset and maybe bring back only the ones who wanted to return?
Just because actors get old doesn't mean ya kill them off, look at movies like The Expendables and R.E.D.
Q&A Has anybody considered what kind of world we would live in without star wars? Just think that if George Lucas, during the early stages of him coming up with 'The Star War' had, in a fleeting moment of madness, looked at it and gone "what is this crap I'm writing? No one's going to pay to watch this let alone enjoy it." He scraps the idea and moves onto something that is so far removed from star wars.
I have weird moments like this where, when you think about it, all it takes is one decision to change absolutely everything.

The blue stuff that comes up looks like the same blue thing that palpatine uses to try to catch Ezra and Ashoka in the world between worlds (during Star Wars Rebels). Maybe that blue smoke was palpatine transporting himself to the world between worlds. An he has been waiting in there watching, waiting for the right time to come back out.
Q/A: If the Inquisitors succeeded in hunting down and accounting for all the remaining Jedi, do you think Palpatine would have had Vader and the Purge Troopers kill the Inquisitors, or would he have used them as Enforcers to fight the Rebel Alliance and other dissidents?

Kathleen Kennedy and even Oscar and Keri Russell spoiled it that they all survive. KK said there will be future stories with Rey, Poe, and Finn. And Oscar and Keri said they would be open to returning. Kind of hard to return when your character is dead.

Q/A: in Legends, so many stories and characters came out of and passed through Luke's Jedi academy. How long did Luke's Canon academy operate between RotJ and Ben Solo's betrayal, and why are there no Jedi alumni who escaped the purge? I think we need an animated series, even if all students are doomed to die.

Q/A: Without going into detail (AKA this comment is free of spoilers), the EP IX trailer seemed to confirm so many plot leaks that came out well in advance of the trailer. Personally, I think it’s highly likely that JJ/Disney and company would be aware of such drastic plot leaks, as I’m sure they’re on the lookout. Then, to go out and show a trailer that basically SEEMS to cover most of the leaks.. it just seems like that’s something they wouldn’t do if the leaks were 100% legit. I think they are probably aware of the leaks and may be intentionally misleading folks to think we know more now than we do. What do you think??

Q&A: why do only some clone troopers customise their armour? Obviously the BTS reason is to distinguish characters for the audience’s sake but what about in universe? Could it be some kind of award for a trooper to design their own markings instead of just using the standard for each legion?

Rey is definitely not dying. She is the main character and she has to build a new Jedi order.
Finn could die but I don't see any reason for him to die. It could be 50/50 on him. Pure speculation based on his proximity to Jannah in the trailers but it could be they are setting up a happy ending for him with her.
Zorri could bite it for sure.
Don't know what to think about Lando. I've always been of the belief that the droids, Chewie, and Falcon are safe. They're mascots and symbols of Star Wars. Wookies live longer and droids and ships are immortal. Killing any of them is tantamount to killing the dog. The issue here is if Lando dies, then the Falcon and Chewie goes with him and this just too heartbreaking for the audience to take.
But now with that scene in the trailer of 3PO possibly dying or at least losing his memory I don't know what to think. Maybe no one is safe after all.
I mean it's pretty much not even a question that Hux and Pryde will die. No major evil characters are going to be left to escape, and I can see them getting captured and tossed in space jail.
Not sure on Kylo. If he stays evil he probably has to die but if he is redeemed it could go either way. I just don't see how he could be redeemed.

You know I’m kind of confused as to why everybody thinks Palpatine is going to be playing this giant role in the movie. I’m thinking it’s just gonna be a small thing at the beginning possibly and that’ll be it. Just enough of a thing to get everybody’s attention but the main antagonist I think should still be Kylo Ren. I really liked how the last Jedi ended because it was going to take it in a different direction and bring back Palpatine to me kind of feels like a cop out if they’re going to be using him throughout the whole movie. Will I like it if they decide to go that direction? Maybe if it’s explain in a way that actually does make sense and it’s not a clone. But I’m going to make one thing very clear. If they do decide to go that route I am not going to act like a crybaby online it says I hate Disney and I hate Star Wars just because they did that. Nor am I going to go to the directors social media and throw all kinds of insults at him because I wasn’t exactly happy with the final product. I am also not going to go to the actors and actresses social media pages in trash them because I wasn’t happy either. Instead I will just hope next movie will be better and if somebody asks I will say my opinion but only if somebody asks.

Q/A What became of the Hutts after RTOJ?
I agree with Molly when it comes to force strength in The Old Republic Era, but I think that for another reason. I dont think her idea that the force is sick in the modern era due to extended imbalance and tempering is bad. Infacr that's actually an interesting idea.
However I'm going at it from another view. Back then the jedi were far more militarized. They were actively engaged in a war with the Sith and the Mandolorians, so to me it would make sense that they would be more attuned to using the force in battle than the modern demilitarized order.
Q&A How screwed are Lando and Nien Nunb in TROS?
Q&A based on what we know about earth science, shouldn’t at least some of the planets in Star Wars not have a blue sky, based on their lack of an ocean. I think that could have helped alleviate the “sameness” that some feel the planets have in the SW universe

In the final act of Solo, how was Beckett fooled by the "fake coaxium that is actually real" trick? Why would he have believed that Han somehow produced fake coaxium so quickly?
Some of the banter in Battlefront 2 between Kylo and Rey when dueling goes like this. (Paraphrasing)
Kylo: The First Order will rule the Galaxy.
Rey: At least I won't be around to see it.
This same thing is said in a couple different ways. It could be just for the game mode, but all other hero banter is Canon relevant.... If you play BF2, you know the smack talk these characters say to one another is one of the best parts of the game.
I don't really think they would kill Rey, but it's interesting they put that in the game and I'm curious what the relevance will be if any.

For the power limit question could, since it would be the old republic era, the Jedi see the Force as a more mystical energy compared to their prequel conterparts which seem more bent on controlling and understanding it, thus leading to Jedi that don't harness the force like we see in the prequels.

I think Finn will die, since idk the character turns to other side, lose his mind just a bit, and I think his ending should be to die on the resistance doing a good cause.

If you're talking about movies, not at the moment. The Mandalorian does take place during 6-7. However, I do think we could get a few movies in the future.

Do you think there could be a reversal of many Sith or Darkside users and limit to one or few extremely powerful Lightside Jedi? I feel like the prequels had many Jedi few Sith with a balance of power, then the original trilogy had few Jedi and few Sith that were powerful. Could we now go to many Sith and few Jedi or many of both for the balance to be maintained? Where do you see this going? Or will it end with all force users being internally balanced?
