I understand your thinking on covering the bolts with copper grease but unless the torque specifications you use specify wet threads you will be over tightening all the fasteners substantially.
Take a look at torque test channel video on torque wrenches, you will be amazed by how much a fastener is over tightened when you use anti seize on the threads.

@@khalidacosta7133most MOT will get their magic hammer out. Any surface rust will be picked up and heavy corrosion picked up regardless where it is on the frame. Just look at the shock absorber the state that is in.

I have a 2011 Vauxhall Insignia estate which I have owned for 12 years. About 4 weeks ago I received a letter from Vauxhall offering me to take my car to the local Vauxhall agents and have the rear toe in plates on the rear subframe checked. They are the plates you would use to adjust the tracking on the rear wheels. I took the car in and they replaced the plates free of charge. I think looking at the state of that front subframe on that 2015 Adam they might begin a recall on that.

People should protect their cars for rust, as the manufacturer don't do this properly anymore, like in the old days. I gave my toyota Auris 2013 a Dinitrol treatment and it's like new. Don't let it rot away!

Glance under your Audi A6 at the rear subframe. You may be shocked too. Or your BMW suv.. Or your Dacia. Or your Kia/Hyundai.. We get all those in with rusted out subframes at very young ages.
Wanted to say too Baz, we're seeing more & more yokes in with knackered injectors (diesels) & the owners are stunned that they're worn out & at the cost of them new. Most we can get reconditioned, some we can't - but trying to explain that injectors last about 120-140k running low sulphur diesel before the tips are worn due to absolutely insane injection pressures of common-rails is like trying to explain algebra to a squirrel. People just get pi55ed off that they suddenly have a bill - and then more pi55ed off that getting the injectors reconditioned takes ages as the reconditioners are swamped. They are here anyway. Plus the injectors have often fecked the DPF through over-fuelling.... which REALLY gets peoples backs up. "I need what????" You seeing that?

Sorry Baz , did you just say 2015 ? The audio goes quiet when you say 2000 & …… this is a reminder of the Austin Maxi / Allegro / morris Minor when the front wheel hubs use to collapse through lack of MTCE ie grease , I’m pretty much sure you remember those days , I certainly do & im 53 but this appears to be lack of shear corrosion protection or quality workman ship from the factory, that exhaust down pipe connection with those unbelievably rotten nuts , is just another unacceptable issue waiting to happen , Id get it if it were a 15-20 year old car but less than 10 years , really ?? it needs stainless nuts instead of these cheap shite steel crap they fit , glad I don’t own one of these but good vid once again Baz , & no I’ve never seen a drive shaft spline twist like that either , can only guess that when the wheel locked against the arch , it must have skidded till it stopped while still in motion , putting the drive shaft under major stress while in gear , see you on your next vid mate regardless of what it is (more eco boost wet belts lol 😂) 👍🏆👍 🤙
