- This long hike starts off in the sleepy hamlet of Spartylea in Allendale, where I follow routes such as Long Drag and The Broadway to reach a summit called Watson's Pike. Once there I attempt to 'connect the dots' before battling the elements and returning via The Broadway to my final summit, Green Hill.
Total Distance 11.36 miles (18.28km)
Summits Achieved :-
Unnamed summit 489m (1604ft)
Watsons Pike 447m (1466ft)
Green Hill 529m (1735ft)
Solitude in the North Pennines, thanks for extensively covering and recording Englands last great wilderness your videos are the best of any on youtube dare I call you King Of The North Pennines. ALWAYS look forward to your posts you've taught me a great deal about this area, THANKS keep up your excellent work.
Thanks for your kind words, I am humbled you think that but I don't believe I am anywhere near ready to accept such a title, there are many people out there with far more knowledge of the area and been going a lot longer. As I have always said nature provided the landscape and views, I just record them whilst I am on my travels. Thank you for watching my videos and continuing to support my channel.
These videos are very relaxing and yet so breathtaking.
Thanks, killing two birds with one stone as they say, thank you for your kind words 😊
