Great review! I finally took the plunge and got one of these as well. Waited long enough to get a great price on it too. I have another one I bought many years ago and in looking at your comparisons, I think it's a D. Stines model. It's a beauty so I'm excited to see the Roddenberry version.

How did you get one finished by Stapleton? I don't think I could put together one of his replicas with the gmprop electronics by myself.

By the way, the one that I think is a D. Stines version is rechargeable so the back doesn't have to be removed.

could someone tell me if the buttons u press change display, do they make sound, is the sound the same or diff each time, thank you in advance
Naiv 69 There are no buttons to press, nor do the sounds or lights change on the Roddenberry prop.
