Game Sack is the best video game show on CZcams
Factual
Hands down. Though I'd go as far as to say the best channel period, for me.
I've come around to feeling the same way. Perfect combo of in-depth detail and humor.
These are great. I play them in the background when working from home.
Game Sack has become a classic. Even if it has fewer followers than some other big channels, it is one of the most competent and focused. It´s really about the games and the knowledge about it. Plus it´s funny!
The awkward 'banter' preludes, the bad acting, the wooden script-reading, the 3rd rate dad-jokes, on the other hand we have some incredible editing by Joe, and of course the likeability of our hosts. Although we lost Dave, so we no longer have the same level of unadulterated cringe as before, 'Sack still does a mean gaming nostalgia show.
@@thegreathadoken6808 Perfect. A man of taste I see
Big channels are McDonald's. GameSack is caviar and wagyu beef.
@@L.L.2045 Exactly, yes. I love the cringe factor of 'Sack and I love BOTH the guys.
Hello and welcome to Game Sack
That stop motion bit taking apart the NES was real slick.
Right!?!? Some of the stuff he has in these videos is well advanced but he's modest about it and doesn't rub it in your face. He's a great producer, I don't think there's been a bad video in a decade long stream of content. Joe you are the man!
3:46 the transitions where the game splits into 3d layers is a really cool effect as well!
I love these gamesack crunch videos. I always have fall asleep with these on...so I can consume some game sack goodness even while I slumber 😴 ❤
I too fall asleep to Joe mindlessly droning on about his addiction.
@@Iliek lol
same ,eventually i make it threw lol
Hey what can I say? It's soothing hearing people talk about things that I'm passionate about lol
@@uriahh4932 lol amen to that
This is a true game channel. It feels right. Having grown up in the 80's and 90's I appreciate the content and the nostalgia. Keep up the good work. And also the fact that you don't have to hear constant profanity is pleasant.
Fun seeing Joe Redifer commenting the "classics" from the nes-era, experiencing for once games that I know about. Keep up the good work, Joe!
I have only recently discovered Game Sack and have already binged all of the Console Crunch episodes. so good!
Me too
I don't blame you. I discovered this channel a long time ago while I was sick with the flu, I ended up watching their entire catalog for the duration. It's just that good.
And for not being that popular of a show, I can't count how many times I've seen "TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE MOOOOOOOOOOOOODE" or "HUUUGE BATTLESHIP" referenced over the years.
Good stuff.
That's my evening taken care of
Thanks for my next sleep video! Seen all them already, love the crunch format for resting.
Always appreciate the massive amount of content in the Crunches.
Yeah. Since I've seen all the eps before, these compilations make great going-to-bed watchin.
@@Jesse__H Best sleep I've had all week!
I was born with an nes controller in my hand. It's the first thing I remember.
I love these long videos. I have the worst time falling asleep and these help me a lot. They are relaxing to watch, but also nice to have on in the background. So please keep them coming.
I was 15 or so when I first played SMB. Blew my mind. Streets ahead of what my Atari can do! Atari ignited my passion for games, but NES renewed my faith.
SMB2 was the right call for the USA. Dialed up difficulty of the same basic game may have flipped here. If you can't top something, make it different. Great call! With all that time, they were able to make Super Mario Bros 3. They've made great use of their time. Super Mario Bros 3 is probably the finest game on the NES. It is certainly my favorite, next to Star Tropics.
Joe, sometimes your dead pan ass humor is just what I need to get through an awful day! Appreciate you a lot!! 💜
I legit thought you were Dave when I scrolled and saw your profile pic
man, thats a phrase that really needs a hyphen between ''deadpan'' and ''ass''.
Joe you rule
Easily my favorite gaming channel on CZcams
Keep pumping out the content my dude
I watch these *every* night console crunch is so good
SHIGERU with the Genesis shirt on, cheeky Joe lol
I want an entire episode dedicated to Rareware. They made some incredible games in thier prime.
and some incredibly bad ones
@@timsmyth7942 we do not speak of those
I shall concur , my good sir.
Love me these console crunch marathons!
This is nothing but one of those videos I pay YT Premium for. I am enjoying every single minute of it.
Oh and in 6th grade (90-91) I had a great experience with StarTropics. I rented it from our local mom and pop video store. No instruction booklet included. I got to the point where you need to dip the letter in water and was stuck.
So my mom called the video store and told them the situation. So the lady at the store called her sister who ran their other location on the other side of town and they had a copy with the instructions and the letter.
So a while lady the phone rang and I answered (I was home sick from school) and it was the lady from the other store and I told her what she need to do and she read me the code and asked if that made any sense to me and I said yes and thanked her
I used to record Mega Man and other NES music on cassette tapes, then jam out to it on my badass stereo tape player or in the car! Its probably why I like techno music so much these days. It sure did annoy my parents/grandparents back in the day 😆
Mega Man has latin fusion music. NES music has nothing in common with techno. techno wasn't a thing at that time.
@@Hamstray Techno was a thing in the 80s, its a part of the Electronic music section if you wiki Chiptune. Also, its just what my 10 year old self called that kinda music, thank you for correcting him! 🙄
@@HamstrayWhy even write a totally wrong paragraph like this? Techno was definitely a thing at the time.
Love NES
That Mega Man 2 music hits you right in the feels!!
1:20:30 The funniest thing I've heard all day, cheers man.
I watch your show for almost 10 years and I absolutely love everything about it (except the lack of timecodes in the older episodes: It's so hard to find the exact game you're covering sometimes :-) All and all, thank you for your work
Same as that! Went through stages I had a bored stage as well as a whinging about the distinct lack of Dave :) But now I am like, shit this is the best thing on CZcams ... and Joe is unwittingly the funniest motherfucker lol his dry style jokes are totally my own humour.
God loves this channel I am sure of it !
ahhhh snap, a new console crunch. late xmas present. thanks Joe!
Don't blink or you'll miss Shigeru Miyamoto iconic T-shirt...I see what you did there 😉
This would have been the one episode you called in Dave as a very special guest.
Awesome! Thanks for posting this!
I love Megamix I especially like how they incorporated vf3 moves that with the sped up game play set the tone for future VF titles
Fantastic restoration! Congrats! 👏👏👏👏👏
Faxanadu was the NES game that got me into RPGs, now it's my favorite genre.
Mine was the Kings Quest series by Sierra back in the days before they morphed into Gearbox and Valve. Then it was Final Fantasy Mystic Quest the easiest game ever :D aww man story driven turn based suff is packed with flavour and atmosphere, I loooove me some RPGs.
They you, Mr. Redifer, for producing these console crunches. They help keep this busy trucker sane.
Thanks for making all this amazing content/videos for such a long time, Joe! ♥
I love just having these on in the background while im playing a game.
Great transitions in this video. Good job!
"Dracula's scarier, he doesn't need to hop" Dracula's final form in Rondo of Blood: Hops
I’m glad I got the bulk of my PSP games back when they were under $15. Sadly, I no longer live in Fairfax, VA and can go and visit eStarland games in person. I’m back in Charlotte, NC and Save Point Games closed their doors right before the new year.
Gamesack is right up there with Metal Gear Jesus for me
Your content is awesome man.... Can put it on pretty much anytime and it'll be good. Your delivery really makes these videos. You give each game just the right amount of time under the limelight. You are irreplaceable.
That megaman bit 😂
I love the NES episode. *chef's kiss* perfect
These are my favorite Gamesack videos
Can't wait to get my hands on it finally. Great coverage.
The "Hypocrite" line made me spit my coffee. Cheers, Joe!!!
wow. i never seen these collection of video before. . great work. . i been watching you guys for what feels like a decade. . lol. . . keep it up. . love your content
pace, eturn
His Karnov impression reminds me of Jack Black in Saving Silverman when he does the mime impression.
Thank you J.
this is truly a masterpiece like all the series's episodes are.
one of my fave series and channels and hosts 10 out of ten
I had the PSP it is very very very good it is very awesome to take every game with you and play on the go in it to the TV it makes it a video game system worth having and I am getting ready to have it again thank you very much for bringing back my childhood
I love the Ninokuni t-shirt I want one tooooo
Amazing there goes my evening lol...
Happy new year amigo🍾🥂🥃 Thanks for everything you do 👍👊
I like petting my cat to these long episodes.
Man, you were on the money with the picks!! I got the Tele-Games version in 1977 with the “Target Fun” title pack-in. I thought I was ripped off by not getting Combat, but it’s the best of the bunch. Great video!!!
I can't stop watching this video
That adventure time shirt is clean AF you get a like and subscribe for that boss. 💪
I love these marathons
Great selection of games.
Awesome video can't wait for the next one
On the 15 minute mark, patiently waiting for Blue Shadow to appear...maybe Hook, and Gremlins too 😂
Finally, someone who knows Shadow of the Ninja as Blue Shadow! It's one of my all time favourites.
@@PoutingTrevor I only recently found out it had 2 names 😂 probably has the best song in a nes game 🤟
right on thanks!! keep up the great work !!!
The Virtual Boy's red display would be perfect for a 1st person Terminator game.
Solid list. Bases Loaded 2 was awesome, I remember spending many weekends playing with friends, then when they went home, I would play Dragon Warrior during the week after school.
There are so many awesome games for the NES that are dirt cheap. I am a huge fan of Robowarrior for instance - part of the Bomberman world, imagine BM played in an adventure mode.
I swear killzone mercenary looks so good that it could be released on the switch and people will still say it looks great
Used to draw the mazes in Metroid and Castlevania 2.
My phone/YT algo has tuned itself to play this video if i dont chose one.😅
game sack makes me sack tingle!!!
For a truly dignified take on hopping vampires, I suggest the beloved 1988 film drama, Robo Vampire.
Thanks for all the nolige on video games! Always!! In your show!!! Ja dizzo here!!!!
Can't wait to get off work and watch!

I thought something was off about that picture. Had to do a double take.
Mega Man...just wow. I remember back when Mega Man was still quiet new. When Mega Man first launched in 1987 I had an Nes and Master System. Many of my friends talked about how awesome the game was but I was too involved with Castlevania for the Nes and Space Harrier for the Master System. I technically missed out on the first Mega Man as I didn't actually get to play it until the early 2000's.
No, my first experience with Mega Man happened while at a sleep over in early 1989. It was on my best friend's birthday and he got a few games (Castlevania, Jackal, and Mega Man 2). After playing Jackal for a few hours he threw on Mega Man 2...and it blew my mind. Just after hearing it one night it stuck in me like nothing had ever before. I would get my copy not to long after. Incredible.
Dave you forgot the hashtag in the Title, how that look like in my "Console Crunch Playlist"
nothing better than the smell of fresh sack in the morning
Great work Sir
Game Sack is in my top 5 CZcams channels. I even made a playlist to put on while I sleep. It's super relaxing, I miss Dave though
I agree with you, this is great.
30:00
Ahem, Dracula does indeed hop in his second form.
That was an amazingly awesome episode! Thank you for sharing your amazing work.
I appreciate it. You are a pro, an inspiration to me as a small content creator. Look forward to your next project. Peace ✌🏼 peace
Wow, watching the evercade again reminds me how aful that thing is, i would be suprised at the quality if it wasnt by blaze.
Way too many reviewers pitch that thing. It's actually starting to get Arcade ports...but like. If I'm going to pay for a machine that runs emulation, I don't want my library limited in such a manner.
Legend of Kage was actually the first game I bought when I got my first console (NES). Kid Niki was also one of my first games. Huge nostalgia for both. Now I got Kid Niki arcade on MiSTer.
Nice, mine was Double Dragon. Feb 1989 I bought the NES Action Set with Christmas money and the next day I bought Double Dragon. I was in 4th grade by the way. Paper Boy might have been my next game. I got Turtles also pretty soon after that game came out
Megaman looks funny when he jumps
I'm from the UK and I love Dizzy games. I had a whole codemasters pack. Loved them.
I love the power glove..
Finally. I can sleep again. 😴
Three games of my childhood: Super C (can still beat it to this day without the code), Mario 3, and RBI Baseball..... honorable mention: Whomp'Em (Underated game)
shout out to Tom, probably the first ever Let's Player.
Cross-eyed VirtuaBoy... LOL!!!
Virtual Boy is your our best episide, and I've seen most of 'em.
A ginger... named Redifer... and a VirtualBoy. That's too much red for me. 😂
We love you Sack
Joe's first console was the Sega master system. This explains my experience in highschool.
I an happy someone else remembers Gynaug.
Shit cash too cash
i think the same damn thing when you talk about a italian plumber, i take egg anytime over him..really ;)
You're a man after my own shell 🐢
I just realized, Blaster Master is Festers' Quest in the overhead sections. They definitely re-used that shit.
Fester's Quest reused Blaster Master, and made it less good.
That mega Man 2 song is My jam that's bubble Man's theme classic
I swear I've seen every episode of your show, I even turn on the marathons when I go to sleep and your all just in my dreams and shit constantly lol
also thanks for never yelling
1:20:28 I always thought that was Zack Morris on the TG16 box.
allright that racinggame joke was pretty
funny :)
