Whizzers Red Bull Run and we "catch" our roast lunch on route!

- A continuing tale of one fiasco after another but thats what makes it so much fun??
On Sunday it was our first Red Bull of the year and sadly maybe our last because the pub is being sold and the new owner plans to open an Italian restaurant. It was also the first time I took the "YB" - my faithful Yamaha YB100 on a run with the Wiltshire Whizzers sin July last year having been through a sad process of repair culminating in a top end rebuild. It seems to be going well....touch wood.
We had a good turn out with our newer mates, Chris, Paul and Phil still showing interest and coming along! Geoff led the run on his re-designed Honda C90 but half way around, Steve's Natt's Puch threw in the towel. Arrangements needed to be made to pick him up but the rest of us carried on to the break at Baydon Pond where we came across a family of ducks and went into Animal Rescue mode.
Alls Well that Ends Well - I got my van and took Steve Natt home after a roast pork lunch - it was a brilliant ride out with mates and a great laugh!
@RobLittleuk
Awwww Chris Packham would be so proud of you fellows 🦆 fabulous ❤
Indeed he would !
Great video of real life, everything that can go wrong goes wrong.
Its comical !
Heartwarming ❤️ great video. Thanks Rob 👍
Thanks Simon !
It's nice that you chaps can get out on your various runs together. Nice variety of bikes too and you're right about the Herald. 👍
Thanks Chris !
Quack Quack hey up duck as we say in Derbyshire , and yes the Herald sounds great , love these videos , Stay Shiny Side Up 🤟
Sounds like a phrase from our neck of the woods

We're trying !
Another grand day out with the Whizzers. These are really enjoyable films. I feel a bit intimidated by you 'ard guys. That was a fantastic bit of film as you overtook each bike and we saw a forward and then rear view of each bike. Great to see you out on the YB. Looking forward to the next 'adventure'.
Takes a bit of editing with the different views and a lot of bad language - thankls for watching Hugh !
Great film...although that Geoff is a right old maverick. He's marauding around like Genghis Grandad.
I will send him this !!
Why are so many so called bikers reluctant to nod to a fellow biker on a smaller machine, I will never understand why that happens.
The Whizzers AKA the Black Widows ride again, and you don't get lost, you only visit different places, that's where you helped the duck with it's ducklings in the last video. Yet another good video, All the Best.
The nodding is irritating but it only reflects on the riders of the bigger bikes. The make the stupid assumption that because you are riding a small bike, you are not a serious biker wheras the actuality is, I have been riding for 57 years!!! The even funnier side is they not when I am on the XSR125 thats because it looks like a bigger bike.. How asahmed they would be if they knew!!!
I was pleased when I got my first hand wave in 1975 after passing my test. Nowadays it tends to be the head wobble (and I do it to L-platers as a friendly gesture).
Noticed riders of big BMWs and old British bikes are too much 'up their own a*se' to reciprocate.
You’re not biased at all.
Well they don't recognise that many riders of smaller engined bikes, started out on them and gestated to the 1600cc Intruders of this world before deciding that small was more fun! I also have a Bonneville but if I could only have ONE I keep the Y...... Bonn....... damnit the XSR125 !!
You're right Rob, the Herald does sound good, but your stroker sounds wonderful.
Yeah you get the best sound of the YB from the rear facing cam. But that Herald sounds like my old tiger cub !
That's the best bit of music you've played !!! YB sounds as sweet as a nut. Is there a mechanic in the Black Widows Wiltshire Chapter for the Puch ?????
Thanks Graeme and yes there is a "Puch Mechanic".....of sorts !
I love 2 strokes…have you ever fancied an RD500LC?
To be honest, No - thanks for your comment!
By stands out as most desirable to me
??
Who makes the 250 herald out of interest? Chinese?
Yes its Chinese but assembled in the YK as far as I know - given the reputation that Chinese bikes have, Steve has kept his in pristine condition !
I've heard of the whispering LE Velocette and the howling Scott, but the whistling Kawasaki is a new one. Herding cats would be easier.
The whistling Kwak is new to our group but most welcome!
Fantasticv what part of the country are you
South Cotswolds
Is there an initiation process to join the Whizzers?
Duck Rustling 😂..
Yes we have some ladies take care of that - but joking aside was that a serious question because we are always looking for more to join us!
@@RobLittleuk okay I’d like to thank you, as I live just south of Ciren not far away from your adventures 👍
@@ianhoyle8459well I live in Tetbury Ian - what sort of bike do you have?
