In no way, shape or form was he trying to promote piracy with his footage of Nintendo ROMs being emulated, as he does own a legitimate copy of the games in question. Heck, journalist sites like Eurogamer's Digital Foundry have even shown emulator footage to help with their tech analysis of retro games without any apparent backlash from the Big N. The anti-homebrew stance Nintendo's so aggressively going for makes Apple's crackdown on you guys seem tame in comparison; at least you can still access the App Store on a jailbroken iPhone or a Hackintosh sans reprecussions.

Try using ASIO4ALL audio drivers for low latency on your USB interface, It works great with my recording setup.
Proper audio interfaces should have their own ASIO drivers. ASIO4ALL is great though, except I think it forces the program it to be the only audio, so windows mixer doesn't work.

For the audio interface were you using WDM or ASIO? I use OBS w/ ASIO plugin and my interfaces work fine but if I use WDM it sucks
