It's usually the first things you talk about when you go inside. You talk about your crimes and how you did them. Unless you did certain things.

The defense of "she begged me" is literally the stupidest logic out there. He's basically saying that she wanted him to visit and that he, a grown adult, had to *obey*/submit to the authority of a 12-year-old for some reason. Like, since when do you let a random child tell you what to do? Makes the guy look like an unbelievable push-over and idiot.
But it's not a child on the other side of the chat though, it's a trained profesional which is probably more persuasive than an actual teenager.
@@TonyshandleHow is that relevant? The decoys never contact people first. They never threaten them to make them show up, begin sexual conversations, or do anything to "persuade" them. There's no subtle mind control on the online decoys' part. For Chris Hansen's investigations, the online decoy is typically not even an LEO.

In reality, predators don't really "need" convincing anyways because they always live with their urges. He was just using this as one of his excuses, and he was a doctor for crying out loud. I've heard in some states, prisoners can request others arrest record so they can look for easy targets to extort. These types are always at the top of the list.
oftentimes it's just culture to show them to your fellow prisoners. it's sorta expected

I’m so thankful you guys do these videos. Honestly I think back on my childhood and “online dating” and just realize well…. How lucky my parents were that I wasn’t gullible. Some of these people just remind me of the same people that tried to get me. The cops were never there to save me though. I want more people spreading awareness to this problem, blasting peoples faces so they can’t hide anymore. Sickening.

This particular episode triggered a bit of PTSD because I was molested by a physician at age 3 (which I still remember vividly and started my extreme fear of medical professionals) and was sexually harassed by multiple doctors and medical specialists as a young teenager. They usually asked my mum (who was the one to take me to appointments/the emergency room) to leave the room first for ‘privacy reasons’… it’s so scary that the ‘professionals’ you’re often most vulnerable to and are supposed to trust can be such monsters…
Parents put too much trust in doctors when it comes to their children.. they don’t realise that they’re just as capable of being child predators and p@ed0s as anyone else, and should never leave their child alone in a room with one… or if the physician is bold enough to do or say things with the parent present, the parent obviously needs to intervene…

Kinda wish the cop had said something along the lines of "You're a doctor, why should I have sympathy for you when you should be held to a higher standard to the general public. You know what you did, you knew it was a heinous act and you still willingly chose to come to this house. I have no sympathy for you or anyone like you."
To be fair, putting on a veneer of sympathy and cordialness is a pretty effective interrogation tactic. I watched footage from an FBI interrogation where they got a guy to confess to killing his wife and kids by acting very sympathetic. You can see it here too. This guy knew the logical thing to do was get a lawyer and shut up. But the cop stayed cordial and he just kept talking.
They caught over 200 guys between 2004-2007. Some predators will probably never see, have a quick clip of them, or have a short segment. This particular sting was the 7th investigation but the 5th where police were actively involved and the 2nd in California. Wollin was the highest profile predator they caught up to that point of the show.
This shows that these come from all walks of life. Some guys are like Donald being total slobs then we get Wollin. A cancer research doctor in California so he was making all kinds of money. Also, it shows that he's a total idiot. Book Smart =/= Common Sense. Seriously Wollions was at the peak of his career, highly respected job, was well-connected, well-paid, and had a decent family life.
He threw it all away for a fantasy. I won't go into detail so you guys can watch the video but he's one of the confirmed dead predators

This is why people have a distrust of doctors and why no one should be put on a pedestal. Larry Nassar along with the cur featured in the video are prime examples of that along with the doctor who was impregnating women while they were in a coma. Same with teachers to be honest among other careers especially those with power over someone's life and stuff. That is why I get a tad pissy when people flat out go "you have no right to an opinion if you don't have a medical and/or science degree" since to me that is basically degrading legit concerns and grievances.

Depends entirely on your concerns and grievances. There are legitimate concerns like malpractice, and irrational ones like thinking that vaccines cause autism.
They check your paperwork as soon as you land in your cell to see if you are solid or not and if not they poke you 😮

Yeah mostly in prison a lot of inmates don’t play with child predators. Like this one inmate who killed a child predator in prison and he’s like yes I did it.
I used to play Runescape a lot as a child (when it was new, not currently), and there were actually a lot of predators on there in hindsight. I had many conversations that I thought were with kids my own age that were probably actually creeps lying. Thankfully I never gave a specific location (asl was a question normally asked) and don't like speaking too personally in general so I always left conversations that went that way, but the thought they weren't kids just gives me the heebie jeebies.

Same, when I was a child I was scared of being put under because “what if you hurt me?” Was always the last thing I would say.. the nice nurses would always reassure me… but that uncertainty is scary, for sure. :(
Sadly it does happen. If you or a loved one is underaged, please try to be diligent and alert to what’s going on during appointments/exams/procedures, etc. Children often freeze in fear and are silent out of fear when something wrong is happening to them, especially by someone they’re told to trust.
