I wish they would still add SSJ4 Goku at some point. But not as a skin. Give the dude his own slot. SSJ4 Goku has some sick moves in GT.

I’ve always liked how Gt Goku stuck to pure training and Saiyan biology rather than relying on God powers. In Super they’ve lost almost all of their Saiyan badassery

I agree. I love Super, but SSJ4 Goku just seems more lore friendly and badass than the god powers. The god powers just seemed kind of random rather than actual Saiyan biology like light said above but both are cool. I prefer SSJ4 tho :D

just to note at 3.19 u mention the gt goku assist wont let you finish with dragon rush grounded, you have to make adjustments. You can actually finish with dragon rush without adjustment, assist timing is strict. Just before 16 dunks their head u hit the assist and you should be able to dragon rush grounded.

for those wondering if he's good or not here are my thoughts on the character. has real high low, double super, solo snap and level 3 mix up. pretty compelete character for this game. and a good asset. his damage potianal is old cell crazy and can get TOD's pretty easily with low or no meter off. highly recommanded if you just want a good dlc character. if you're wonder which are besr dlc as of right now: 1. bardock 2. Zamusu 3.GT Goku 4.Cooler/vegito (for me).
What about Jiren. I body swapped him in arcade mode and it wasn't too bad.
What's your opinion of him?

Goku never dies or takes Shenron’s punishment or whatever may have happened at the end of Dragonball GT, he just rides on top of Shenron to get to DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ.

I haven't learned much from what I've seen already. What's hard to master is the Dragon Fist Explosion--how can you perfect the technique so easily if other special moves are allowed to use the same command(s)? It's that kind of mess up in combo games that really grind my gears.
Globku Cell and Goku’s air Kamehameha have the exact same angle. I checked in training mode.

Team building list? Why do you need someone to tell you what characters to use? Just pick who you like man ffs, all this tier list bullshit is so negative for the game.

@@Epoqua I get that, but I don't like the idea of choosing a team based on a list that someone has created for you, just play around in training mode and find a team that you enjoy playing. Part of the fun is building your own unique team and playing around with different teams and positions.
Yeah I don't listen to the tier list either my two main guy's ssg Vegeta and Base Goku are ranked low but I kick ass with them

One thing you missed about the charge is you can use an assist with the light one
Its fine and looks fun to play and I wouldnt have any problem with him if we were to have at least 3 more characters, but we only getting 1 more (without counting Gogeta and Broly), that means that characters like Toppo, Kefla, Goku UI, Roshi and many others are not gettin in the game, which is very sad.

How can I combo into his own spirit bomb? Everytime I hit the thirs reverse kamehameha and the opponent is on the center of the screen, goku gt do the spirit bomb on the right side of the screen instead from the center.. Any advice?

Yeah same here man. I'm sad cause I tried getting it right for so long and boom there's a problem
I tried labbing with GT Goku for a while yesterday, all I can really say is that you have to be super fast with the inputs.
Also, make sure you're doing the 1S (or 3S if you're on the right) immediately after the initial reverse Kamehameha.
Just keep practicing it and eventually you'll get the timing down.

I’m having trouble getting the dragon rush after landing the spirit bomb any tips?
It's kinda tricky to land, from what I can tell you need to dash forward almost immediately when you're able to after hitting spirit bomb.
You press the dragon rush button about a second before he lands
Anyone else having trouble with his reverse kamehameha not sending them far enough into the air for the spirit bomb?
My spirit bomb keeps going on the wrong side instead of the middle
You have to do the combos very quickly in order to connect

can someone tell me what the letters at the bottom of the screen mean when he shows the combos
2 = crouching / 5 = standing / M = Medium attack / L = Light attack / H = Hard attack / S = Ki blast button / j. = jumping attack / SD = Super Dash / dj. = double jump / 214 = quarter circle behind you / 236 = quarter circle in front of you
Goku gt is like if dragon ball fighterz characters had "styles"like mortal kombat and goku has a stile called" Kamehameha master".i always thought goku would use kamehameha in his combos more,and here he is.

There should have been one more power pole attack. I was happy with what they gave us until i had a though. Forward and the special button.... Over head power pole attack. Even if it had a shorter range. I can hardly enjoy him now thinking how one attack coupd have made this character 100× better. Not just as in biieng viable it would just have been so cool. T Gohan yeah sure but Majin Buu really likes some other assists like Vegeta SSJ. Maybe now you should try every assist from GT and Gohan to see if they can complete Majin Buu well
