Now I just wanna show my appreciation for how this video was crafted. The first 50 seconds are a masterpiece for a CZcams video these days. Immediately addressing and extrapolating the title. No clickbait. Refreshing. While perfectly timing the video to the audio that's explaining a common high level situation and why it may be frustrating you with a foreshadowing to the solution. But my favorite part is that tonally it's light and humorous, making it educational, light, and most importantly attention grabbing. 50 seconds. You've shown up on my page a couple of times but seeing this let's me know you put time and energy into your script. This is the 50 seconds that got you another sub. And hopefully many more. Thank you good sir.
The points made all hit home as they should
Practice does help, application and rewatching those selected matches.đŻ
Honestly it feels like i suck because everyone else is better or seems better regardless of how much i train. While i appreciate the challenge in that, there are times where its just plain frustrating or at times depressing
Kinda late but sometimes you practice something that's not directly usefull in order to win, and thus you don't see the result. But trust me skill is a puzzle and nobody knows how to assemble it lineary, you gotta play enough to see it complete. Once you have trained enough tho you can start working on bad habits you developed and then starts the mastery of the game, but not much ppl play enough to get at this point.
The fact that I JUST learned holding down dragon rush results in more hits makes me feel some type of wayâŠ
Ah.
Love your content man. Keep up the good work
Just got this game and itâs literally Impossible
Is no one gonna talk about this editing?!
Me reading the title: How do you know?
This hurt and I don't even own the game lol
It's possible I just haven't seen one of your videos in awhile cause I generally listen to these at work but these freeze frames of the game you got with the slow camera pan are super clean! I Love it!
I've been following your channeling since almost the beginning and these edited scenes are fantastic. You came a long way man!
I need why I suck at life next. For real though I think we took something from it.
the moment when you pull off a combo you've been practicing for so long FEELS SO GOOD
Those action shots was really amazing great addition to the vid
This is exactly the type of video I needed, I mash way too often and think I have alot of options when I really don't like after a blocked super dash. This video was very educational I hope I'll finally progress from my bleh Super Saiyan Blue rank (:
He's a quick guide for the basic 50/50 you can do with Ghost Oki (I'm a Pad player by the way so this might not work for you but give it a shot.)
After you do the back jump j5H with Gotenks, setup ghosts and hold H and S in the middle of the Ghost animation. When your opponent gets up, jump forward and unleash your fingers from the H and S, very quickly whiff a Light and in the middle of the Light press the Medium button. Now you can just air dash into a j5L for light or land for a 2L.
My biggest issue with fighterz has always been that I just want to play it casually, but as a result I tend to always get paired with people who are way better than me, or way worse than me. I want this game to challenge me without giving me an opponent who will just body me 4/5 times, and it just rarely happens
When you say âcasually,â you basically mean that you donât want to use your brain to get better at a game. Really no point in doing anything halfway.
@@manleyfgc7981 Thatâs a little bit mean and presumptuous. Itâs quite the opposite actually, I love learning about how a game works. When I say I want to play it casually, I mean I want it to be an enjoyable experience without having to practice it day in day out just to be good enough to compete with my opponents.
Even some really difficult experiences like Hollow Knight I was able to thoroughly enjoy without needing to spend hours practicing the intricacies of the gameplay. Fighterz is just a game whoâs experience is made thoroughly worse if you donât spend an hour every day practicing dragon rush techs. I donât think itâs unreasonable for me to want to be able to just pick up and play a game and have a good time.
@@girlbossalex8065 in a sense am not better but in a fighting game its mostly thinking and knowing your flaws
And the qprst part is that because of all these sweats beating cpus is harder now and makes new players suffer, especially when they try to unlock Blue Goku and Vegeta
Omg those panorama views of characters in a specific position is so beautiful. We need an update for that
Really good camera tricks and edits, I like it
I played this a lot at launch and would often practice especially after watching your tutorial vids on combos , I came back recently can still hold my own but Iâm very sloppy now , drop combos and do silly stuff but you said it best Iâm lazy lol Iâve not been putting the time into practice . Iâm experimenting more with other characters now than I did in the past as I was getting too accustomed to using the same 3 so it somewhat gives me more passion for the game and interest in playing again.
I like the edits on this vid I like the style keep it up broski
I suck because I got more important stuff to spend my time on... I'm fine playing with other bad players at low ranks if it means I don't gotta practice for something that won't give me any real reward. I think it's a valid way to approach the game.
Globku: *posts videos*
Me: and I took that personally
I appreciate that this hits me not just because I suck at DBZF but because of how much it applies to fighting games in general.
i mean im better in Smash than in Fighterz, but im mostly just playing both casually against my friends/family
I used to suck because the game moved to fast. I fr could t see what was happening on the screen lol
I go against the worst players in ranked but get TOD in casual play
I suck because I don't spend enough time labbing pressure. I want to try writing out a flowchart of my pressure so I can identify all my options to see what I can use to mix up my opponents and how to make certain offensive reads. But I can never push myself to do it, I always feel like I'm just winging it in game.
Look into TinyTorgue. Dude legit puts a flowchart in every single one of his combo guides. Shit is a godsend.
How I cannot be humble to understand I suck at this game seeing this 6:37 camera work bro! Looks awesome.
How come this video release an hour after I am reviewing my matches?! Thanks Globku for the useful advice, I have been playing fighterz for a long while, and I didn't know you could hold down the dragon rush
None of these were new information to me but they were great reminders
My muscle memory never allows me to hold DR
I still need to practice my techs (my defense is decent if you exclude that)
And I always find excuses not to lab hard tech
I still try to lab all my mistakes away a lot of the time (labbing out fighting games is one of my favourite activities and it's sometimes calming even) but in the heat of the battle the good old muscle memory keeps kicking back in
BTW I loved the small freeze frames in your video! Nice way to improve on your editing
This is exactly what needed to know. Thank you
This better become a series, I'm talkin Why You Suck At One's Justice 2 and etc etc.
Please Globku đ
Crazy how I see this as soon as I quit trying to learn ssj4 Gogetaâs rejump
This is dead ass the only fighting game I donât know how to do a combo on
I finally completed the combo challenges
A lot good that did...
one thing you forgot to mention is actually one of my bad habits, terrible assist calls.
calling a close-up assist full screen so it whiffs, yep.
calling an assist when it's going to get hit by a beam, yep.
calling an assist too late in a blockstring so you get double sundaed, yep.
thankfully I'm learning to get rid of this in my play style but it still creeps up.
Damn, the rotating still images look great in this video.
This felt like a sunless Kahn video from RL but for fighterz and I liked it. Mostly cause it feels pretty fresh when applied here... that and I legit had no clue about holding DRAGON Rush.
I just got off of ranked and this is the first thing i see in my recommended
5:56 and 6:08 are me all the wayđđ except itâs with Videl!! Awesome vid, this helps a lot!!
I suck at FighterZ because all I do is lab combos in the corner because I like seeing the big damage. My neutral is poopoo and my defence is garbage. I also canât not panic vanish.
For me talkin to friends or listening to music while practicing is fun
Hearing Globku say that he is not my friend broke my heartđ
I am also a kid Buu main and never thought 2H was a good option so I purposely never used it. But now I play other characters like base vegeta and can't stop using 2H. But I miss 2M hitting anywhere lol
I forget how to do combos with different characters
Sometimes not learning your lesson though makes it harder for the opponent to predict you as I have done though being a usually being on the defensive side, keeping the pressure is what I do best as Krillin as I end up mixing them due to them crouch shielding the whole time due to how small Krillin is
Itâs the camera angles For me đ„
I don't really use assists, not for combos or neutral, i just don't use them because i hate the team bases playstyle of the Game
Helpful, new to this game.
i suck because i get to confident and when my opponent starts mashing blocking gets difficult because i canât predict what theyâll do
i have a freind who constantly superdashes in neutral without using assists. i main freiza, 16, z broly, and im currently learning UI goku. with 16 and freiza, all i need to do is press heavy, and the combos roll in after that.
There is another reason NOT to hold dragon rush, to get a lower combocount so you get the dragonball for shenron
When you ain't a Gogeta Player it can help to know combos for specific dragonballs, which has safed me sometimes
I know trying to summon shenron is most of the time a bad idea, but it's always good to have a plan B
Base Vegeta in the corner can still get that extra loop if you do the 27 hit DR
Lmao Globku ear hustling creepily to hear Dekillsage.
i did storymode first years ago and the AI had no answer for super dash. Now I keep getting punished because I can't stop doing it
I just got the game a few weeks ago went to the tutorials and when it has the like specific thing will you go and learn combos for each person it's just not going to happen I reach a certain point and then the buttons just decide they're not gonna work and then that's it make a really difficult for me feeling like I should practice when it doesn't seem like it's gonna matter...
Another tip
Learn resets with some characters
If u do them now and then instead of all the time your opponent wont see them coming and with characters like hit and 17 the lead into high damage or easy kills and TODs
Iâm so used to seeing people get 2H ToDs in that I never raw superdash into assist.
I know that I suck, but I still try and work on the stuff I know for at least an hour a couple of times a week, also since I don't want to forget how to play. One problem I think I have is that I don't play Online matches with people other than my friend, but it's a lot of fun and we try and learn off each other a bit.
LOL, it's hard to change the habit. but you're right Globku, that's why i'm suck at DBFZ
I play with my dpad on PS4 and it's kinda broken so sometimes I get hit when I'm holding back
2:07 yeah going online in this game at all is kind of crazy too
I always see character blocking but I get hit like 90%percent of the time when my openent does any air dash or cross ups
ArGin is not bad, Globku. He's just beyond humanity
This I can confirm
@@zerr0432 yessir
He is Monke x100
I've been hearing that name around a lot. What's this about
@@DShy96 ArGin? He's a CZcamsr who does dbfz videos
@@zerr0432 Ah. Okay.
Missing Air Level 3's, always thinking I should 2H a superdash (stuff doesn't even register sometimes) and I get caught out way to much with air and low attacks when it comes to blocking. Having to protect myself from an air assist and then a 2M can be tricky for my brain to do in such a short time spam
The two Gogetas and Ui goku are straight up overpowered
This was a VERY well made video
The way I practice is a level 100 CPU with 3v3 2v2 or 1v1 and practice for 10-11 hours getting combos off with different character and fighting different character
My favorite CZcamsr, Sunless Glob
My friend mashes like no tomorrow when he plays. He genuinely does not try to play with a clear and calm head, no matter how hard I try to teach him. Worst part? It works out for him. He somehow gets the assists off at the perfect times
Honestly the reason I would never hold dragon rush is because I thought the scaling wasn't worth it
I got the game a month or two after itâs release but have been playing off and on cause I couldnât keep up with the skill gap, here I am playing again with vegito, hit and beerus
Yo, Globku the Shinobu Trailer is out.
I made it to red rank (donât remember the name.) but my biggest flaw is not knowing when to back off especially when I use 17 or Videl my two mains đ

I just suck at making long combos. I can only really do one main combo for each of my characters. I even feel like I'm not using GT Goku to his fullest potential yet.
Heya Globku thanks for this, really does help me not suck as much lol. My question is, how come when I backdash after a break in a blockstring it doesn't come out? I play with a ps4 controller on sticks and some times I try to ground backdash it doesnt come out. If its an input issue because I do it really quickly I get that. But I'd like to know if you'd have an answer for it.
