Apparently 17's level 3 always hits exactly 17 times... neat.
Android 16s level 1 does 16 hits and I think android 18s level 1 does 18 hits.

I was worried 17 was gonna be another bardock but seeing how complex his special candles are I doubt ill see good 17 players for a while which makes me happy but also im terrified of getting spread by this character

I'm and pretty average player on DB fighters and having a character with built in mix ups really helps me out (nice breakdown)

His oki is weak, his DHC is bad, his lvl 3 gets no hard knockdown from the air, doubt Sonic gonna pick him up.

Android 17 being a late attacking assist can actually prove very useful in combos cas he has the potential to hit after a super like Bardock's rush.
Whatâs sad is that people are still complaining when heâs not even bad đ
I think it's kind of unfair that 17's air lv 1 doesn't go through super attacks. I mean, in real competitive play, the odds of someone throwing out a raw super are going to be rare (maybe the lv 3 gambits on wake up or during blockstring gaps), so it's not like giving him that property is going to make him instantly OP or something. Besides, we already have Bardock's Saiyan Spirit that can go through anything, and he doesn't even have a barrier: it's just a fierce right hook, that's it, but he gets to be invincible? Bardock is already privileged enough in this game, why does he get an invincible _ground AND air_ lv 1 when 17's _air only_ level 1 _that has a barrier_ doesn't get that invincibility?
TGN! Good stuff man. That's the stuff I wanted to see... Nuetral things. What can he do on nuetral is important. And you used Gotenks and black. 2 characters I needed to see while using him.
I was labbing him this morning using the same team lol. The synergy is good, accel drive loops work with both assist and the damage output is OD

If they hit the barrier of the assist before the ki blast, they are pushed back across the screen. Saw it when Maximillion was testing him.

I played a bunch of 17 players. And good lord are they fun to play against. I even play 17. One thing that is key with 17 is that he is a good assist with his accel driver. But if you plan to play as 17 then you need to play defensively. Find your opening and be aggressive as possible

When I do down forward heavy I always end up doing the one where 17 goes behind the opponent. Iâm so confused

Android 17 is amazing but I think just some players will can make good game. It necessary skill and imaginen for to use this character. It's not other bardock like some people say.

so, Cooler is just a watered down Cell, and 17 is basically Majin Buu (Fat one) if Majin Buu could mix up all day any day at any time. man, they went all out for the last 2 dlc character's, huh? i can see pros picking up Cooler and trying out... COOL things (not sorry), as well as 17 for some more of that NASTY shit. lookin forward to all of that. not gonna lie.

Kinda late but if you still donât understand itâs because itâs great for high low mixups
Quick note; 17's barrier energy blast move (the move his assist is based off of) can actually be followed up midscreen meterlessly. If you immediately cancel into his 214S, you can sneak in a jumping attack on the way down and it'll link.
17 is going to be a problem. Hands down fastest character.

Im telling you, this guy is open, easy pickings. In concept amazing just like beerus. Hes not god like everyone saying. Cooler on the other hand is top tier. Hate on me all you want right now give these characters 2 weeks to a month and itll be just like base vegeta. "bye bye bardock, base vegeta is here yaaa sonicfox gonna rape everyone now." where are all those base vegeta mains at now? Probably playing bardock. I plan on trying this character but im not sold on him just yet he looks like beerus like i said, sick training mode character but the games mechanics are gonna kill him.
he really isnt gonna be beerus dude, cooler literally loses the corner on every move he does, no matter what hes usually never gonna get the corner, meanwhile 17 has good mixups, really good combo game, and a low hitting light, what else does a character need, he can even use supers from his projectile and yeah everyone thought beerus was thinking beerus was gonna be good, but that was before the game came out and no ones really knew much about the game
@@gorbonzo im not trying to sound hateful, i really am excited to try him out as he has some "ninja" looking tricks and thats the type of characters i like..in the right hands im sure he will be good as any character in this game minus beerus. Im just not drinking the sauce til i try him i really see him losing to people that challenge his tricks with buttons/sd. Honestly look at his moves.. Imagine getting conditioned to his sorcery after a few weeks.. I just gotta feel him myself but i see many openings in his style for the way this game plays at any level. Where as cooler has a dp and full screen sweep, i dont even like cooler as a character but hes got tricks that just work across the board, game to game that shit always makes for annoying, defensive characters that just work.

Just gotta give him a few weeks and see if hes all that. In that respect same could be said for cooler but my opinions are not changing til i try them and see some other footage these guys are given early access and wont straight up shit on a character especially a flashy one that everyones excited for.
