I'm not sure how good sausages cooked over an open bituminous coal fire would be, but maybe the Stooges were on to something. I always liked the sound effect that was used when Curly was eating the sausage that was actually a rivet.
Curly slipping around on the grease and sliding toward the edge of the building reminds me of Buster Keaton or Harold Lloyd. This looked like one of their stunts.
