When I was a boy I saw this scene and laughed so hard I nearly suffocated. I had no clue laughter could be THAT strong. I looked for it for decades and only recently found it online. Still funny, just not new child funny. Nobody was funnier than The Three Stooges! R.I.P.

A lot of people (mostly women) would see this clip, and Stooges in general as childish, moronic, sophomoric, whatever pejorative one wants to use. I get that - in the sense that I found this stuff hilarious at 10, and still do at 58 (i.e., I have not "grown"). But does one not appreciate the physical comedy & expressions of Curley? He exemplifies all the frustration of the world in a simple, innocuous form when he performs all his mannerisms & sounds. In short, vicariously venting life's frustrations through Curley. Imagine if, instead persecuting & killing millions, the world's dictators & oppressors had just vented their frustrations through Curley, and laughed (and had a few beers along with it).
