Does this model support react native environment please guide me I am thinking about to buy new one but my budget is low so I think you can give me a good suggestion
Excellent and concise video - covered all the pros and cons of these machines in less than 5 mins. I have to ask, did you get one of these when you were 12? Our 18 year old has been using ours since he was 6. At this rate, this 2012 machine might outlive me lol.
I actually watched this video on 2012 MacBook Pro 9,2. I bought it used a few months ago for $200 for a knockabout laptop. Put in a SSD, upgraded the RAM and replaced the non functioning SuperDrive all for under $80. Hell the battery in it still lasts quite awhile, especially now that it has an SSD. Aside from the display which is good enough for browsing/email/CZcams, all in still a better deal to me than some bare bones ChromeBook for roughly the same price. More than snappy enough for my use case.
Watching this video on a MBP mid 2012 which runs macos sonoma 14.3.1 and i agree with the creator of this video , the fact that this MBP is fully upgradable is amazing. Max out ram and throw an SSD on it and this machine is good for few more years !!
I picked up a late 2011 model a few months ago. I think I paid around $150 USD, and I must say these things are great for their age! I have the 13 inch, i5, 8GB model, so far, I have run Windows 10 on it, and I was really impressed with its performance considering its age. Now I am running macOS Sonoma, following a tutorial I found, and that OS also runs impressively smooth. The display is really the only downside to it but even that I can look past, just browsing the web or following a collectible guide for a video game and it has a DVD/CD drive!
Lots of websites and programmes are now becoming obsolete on the highest OSX of this model which is 2015. Still a very powerful model with the upgraded ram and ssd but becoming obsolete regardless
I still use my 13 inch Retina MBP 2015 with 16gb Ram and this machine still serve me well in my daily tasks.. I mainly using this machine for editing 1080p videos and editing photos also I use this for my Virtual Instrument every Sunday, and Idk why MBP from 2011 to 2015 generation I believe is the greatest MBP for sure.. also with the help of Open Core Legacy Patcher, MAN! this old machines can keep up with the newer model.. For those who wants to buy your first MacBook laptops I suggest you go with 16GB of RAM, for older machine like MBP from 2011 to 2015, grab the 16GB ram, trust me you will never regret your decision.
I paid 220 USD for a late 2012 Macbook Pro with a 1tb SSD (Samsung 870 EVO I believe) and 16gb of ram. Works perfectly fine, 1080p for movies and basic games, I am really happy!
Still using it it works flawlessly

Have same but with ssd and 16gb ram. And newest system. Will newer sell it✌️😃
2 questions:
1-what is the latest OS that the 2012 MacBook Pro will run?
2-will the MacBook Pro 2012 run the Home app?

Now I installed Windows 10 dual boot with Catalina and works perfectly fine, all works (W11 works slow).
