The 21 Power Levels of Armwrestling Explained - Where do you Rank?
Vložit
- čas přidán 1. 05. 2023
- How much stronger than you are the Elite Armwrestlers? As a Beginner, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a world champion, an entry level pro or even a very strong amateur. They would all feel like a stonewall to you, which is why I've made this video. There are numerous levels to the sport of Armwrestling, so this might put things into perspective a bit. This ranking system is based on my personal experience, match results and a lot of speculation. There is no need to be offended if you don't agree. Now let's get back to training.

Now you gotta add a tier between Ermes and levan for Devon after his win over Ermes
Devon + stem cells vs Levan ? I wonder if he can win, he did beat Ermes 6-0 , so you would expect him to be better than 2-4 vs Levan! Hmmmm
It's possible that he thinks Devon has less "power" than Ermes. If this was a skill teir list though, he would lose all credibility if Devon wasn't #1
@@tayaoj4 he beat ermes 3-0 bro
Ermes still has a lot to go. Devon is on the dawn of his AW carreer. For much that I love Devon, this is the truth.
After EvW12 this video has aged well.
Wow, that just shows how gifted Ermes is for the sport. He didn't even train and just from picking up a bit of technique from sparring with his father as a teenager but was able to the #1 guy in Austria.
Didn't even train 😂😂😂 bro no one gets to that level without training.
Ermes is Italian not Austrian 😊
@@harshitnirwan4651 Sorry i meant to say he was able to beat the #1 guy in Austria* because in video talks about how he as a skinny 18 year old was able to beat the #1 guy in Austria.
@@DisasterRasta His Dad is also a good arm wrestler so when Ermes was a teenager he would spar with him and learn techniques but his only training was table time and he didn't do it very much and it was more of just an activity he did with his dad. He was basically a stick figure at 18 and just destroyed the #1 guy in Austria.
@@DisasterRasta Yeah lol i think its pre Italian Pasta to be more precise
Very cool. Trying hard to get tonthat Matt Mask level.
No way, you're being modest, everyone knows you're level 22 :) that means when you're sick with fever Levan might beat you...
need to past the women level first tho, good luck
Ew
You are not on the level of the skinny old version of ermes, delusional
this is what real content looks like lazy bowen
You clearly forgot level 22, the one and only true master and God of Armwrestling, Ryan "Blue" Bowen
Ryan "Blue" Bowen vs Levan "The Twink" Saginashvili on December 2023??? PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
No leval on top
the reason why young ermes was so good is because he was a blue collar worker, armwrestler and had good genetics. he was beating krasimir when he still looked like a kid
Totally agree. Awesome content. Best I have seen in a while.
Hahaha honestly I love this scale, it’s so damn appropriate 😂.
I think athletes, based off their weight category.
Should be split into two sub categories of Athletecism and Skill.
These two categories have 4 levels: novice, amateur, pro and elite
Athletecism is comprised of:
-strength
-endurance
-stamina
-flexibility
-mobility
-agility
-speed
Skill:
-experience
-training time (muscle memory)
-understanding of the sport
So you can essentially have guys with pro level Athletecism yet novice level skill.
Keep in mind for a competitive strength sport like arm wrestling, the amount of skill you can display is bottlenecked/limited by the strength variable you have. You may be super skilled but if the other guy is too strong it won’t matter how skilled you are.
So there are definitely levels to this.
feels like this is a response you'd get from chatgpt
In Armwrestling less flexibility and mobility you have, is better lmao
Ongarbayev looked very impressive against Irakli, I honestly think that a 115KG Ongarbayev could give trouble to 115KG Prudnik. And also Revaz destroyed Dave.
but you have to consider that 100% revaz wouldnt even feel levan, only ryan would be a good match for him
bro Dave is much much stronger, he was probably injured or something
True. Hard to say how strong revaz is tho. Dave was still fked from Vitaly match for months and he has all kinds of injuries. He’s on the downward slope almost 50
I agree, however I also believe there are more levels in between both the construction worker, the women, you, and the top guy at your club.
Yeah i thought so too while making this, hard to tell
@Daniel's Armwrestling calisthenic guys are at least a level ahead other gym dudes
@@hammadrizwan4410 calisthenic and climbers too, they have some amazing finger strength.
@@hammadrizwan4410 so in armwrestling calisthenics guys are stronger than gym guys?
@wojack827 Yeah, mostly, it's because of the type of movement they practice.
I subscribed to your channel now only thanks to this video. THIS is proper arm wrestling content, the real deal, entertainment and good analysis!
Thanks!
I love these kind of videos, keep em coming man
That video is so good and accurate enough. I enjoyed it. Thanks :)
Some people have a natural propensity at firing certain muscles compared to other people. That coupled with BIGGER joints and hands, differentiates a normal person from an abnormal.
If you anatomically looked at Levan's physique, you'd see he shares similarities with Worlds Strongest Men competitors. He has massive joints/hands and has better muscle fibre enhancement.
Bigger wrench wins when all else is equal.
pumping years of roids do that
@@falco2296 HGH on top of genetics.
he also pops hgh like candy
And then you have young skinny Ermes. Looks like he barely even eats let alone lifts, but totally overwhelmed Austria's #1 guy, who totally overwhelmed this 100kg national champ who made this video.
Really great video 😊
Very good job on this video!
Amazing video, man. I doubt many people, if any, would disagree with this list
Wouldnt consider myself a fan of arm wrestling but this video is heat 🤣💀 you should do more powerscaling videos on different subjects but in this same style of meme, subbed
Awesome video brother!
You were so accurate. Great video
Best armwrestling ranking and level video!
Great insightful video! 👍👍
Nice list!
That was so well done and entertaining, and I totally see where you're coming from. I'm surprised how much I agreed with. Though I might say that Levan is level 22 or 23 at this point, not counting his current wrist injury.
You are so underrated. Great video but I wasnt expecting you to use leauge of legends ranks in this video lol
GUESS WHAT BUD? DEVON IS #2 NOW!!!
Id consider myself a 5.5 im a fairly competent amateur but im not sure i could beat Barbora. Ive been lucky enough to pull with Angie Rose and felt decently comfortable but Barbora and Gabi are something else. I bet the two of them could beat even lower level pro guys
can he beat a Gorilla tho
My cousin Marcos can beat a gorilla, he most certainly did
@@zenwithoutmastersnah
Great video
Hahah loved the video, great work!
i ve always thought of armwrestling in levels, Nice job in making this video. I think of every level like 10% strength, and as you said, 20% strength difference is mismatch. I m around 12 on your scale, btw. Looking forward to your next vids :)
Could you beat the OP. I think he would beat you idk maybe 7 or 8
Great video 👍 loved it 🤝
That was very fun to watch and I agree with you on that 💪🏽 maybe im at lvl 3 or 4
wow, what a great video! earned yourself a sub!
just a brilliant and funny video! subscribed 🤗
How did I just discover this video! Well done sir new sub!
that was so well done :D
Spot on about the construction workers. Even a house-painter once humbled me at armwrestling
Try a furniture mover.
Stripping paint from a wall is very hard work. I don't do it for a living, but I can see why someone who does would be incredibly strong.
@@mattc825my step dad’s a furniture mover. Sure I’m not great at arm wrestling but I’m probably level 3. But he’s just way too strong
Very interesting!
u forgot level 22, PRIME JOHN BRZENK
Absolutely
Well done. I have no issues with your reasoning at all.
Video got viral bro. You got success ❤🎉
Thanks for the info
Cool video. Refreshing to see something original instead of regurgitating something on a recent podcast
this was fun to watch
Legend Says It, We’ve Only Got Started.
Good video. You should put here Ryan BOAT or whisperer. Stay strong love armwrestling
interesting video, but after last match betwen devon and ermes there needs to be upgrade to these "levels".
Love this content. Much better than some good old lazy concrete elbow or steroid pancakes or whatever their names are. Lazy content making videos on every small uninteresting thing.
Maybe get a better mic but I subbed. Keep up brother
Great video 💪🏼😊
very good video
arm wrestling need more videos like this
That's a really interesting way of putting it. I'd probably put myself generously at a 4.
This was very entertaining
Minecraft seems like the way to go for me. :) Cool video.
This was exactly what I was looking for, I’m (6’8” 225lbs) just getting into armwrestling and have only pulled against my dad (6’5” 240lbs) so far and really wanted to see where I ranked on the totem pole lol. Ive been doing roofing/concrete work for the last 10 years so I know I fit in the genetically gifted construction worker tier but after seeing young Ermes go in there and clean house it just makes me want to try my luck at competing 😂
Nice job bro. You need to bulk though. You're a stick at 225 if you're 6'8"
@@Anonymous-jf2gy I’ve been bulking since I made that comment, it’s always been really hard for me to put on weight and keep it but I’m up to 240 now.
@@ILootStandingStill Nice job, keep going
@@hermajesty3024 just turned 27
@@ILootStandingStill Did you defeat your dad?
Sheesh, I train pretty regularly and have competed in a few tournaments, but putting it into this perspective, I'd place myself at level 4, or maybe 5 at best.
What a great video
I'd say im realistically about 9 getting close to a 10. Cool stuff, I'd love to see a revised version with some of the good ideas in the comments
You forgot the Ultimate Level, the level of the legendary blue!! Sir Ryan Bowen!
This is gold.
pure gold, that song at hermes raid boss hahahaha
I recognize the music in the background from Exiled Kingdoms. It was driving me nuts at first
I appreciate the Critical Role Fight music you added😂
Beautiful
Right now at 5 want to reach 7
Will keep u updated
Current denis sure, prime denis is more arguably at same level as levan, also in my opinion devon has levelled up to more like 19.5, and if devon vs ermes match is a close one then he is obviously level 20
We gotta remember the levan in the ermes match was a watered down version of the levan in the devon match as seen by his weight and the difference in weight of lifts done in preparation like the bicep curl
Wow, actually cool. 👌🏻
Level 23- Travis. You have to tell him he's the greatest as you're losing
I was proud of being level 4-5. But what tf man I have way farther to go 😂
Very accurate
Putting levan oxygen saginashvili as infinite power in thumbnail! 😂
I am agree with you in the most, but John Brzenk, Genadi and Denis Cyplenkov are above of Ermes. And Levan is really King and GOAT🇬🇪🇬🇪👑🔥
greatest of all time? for the short time he's been around and doing like 1 match a year because it fits his roidcycle? in 5 years he's completely off the map, destroyed by roids. look at the match vs gasparini, levan hugged that oxygen tank at the end so much, i thought he's married to it. pathetic. brzenk can be called a goat.
World champion Devon Larrat my friend!!!!
devon said that he thinks levan is the strongest armwrestler of all time and he was right after ermes levan started taking things too serious so he is getting strong 165x3 he is stronger in every aspect then prime Denis
Sehr geil 😂💪
would be curious to see where a strongman or elite level powerlifter would place, that has just been taught the technique but never trained for the sport
I think I am at 2 level. I do armwrestling since almost 2 years but I'm very light (60kg class) so I don't think I can take down the 3 level gym guy. Maybe 70kg gym guy but not 90kg
Also level 16... With Tsonev when Young Red beat Krasimir, Tsonev and Ongarbayev never won a round with Young Ermes 🤣
Pretty good video, I give it a 7/10:)
Nobody must forget prime Dennis "pulling a truck with a armwrestling movement" Cyplenkov
Bro you just saw that video and made an assumption , I can name name atleast 10 more armwrestler who can do the same , its doesnt even translate in the table .
Prime denis would be level 20 or 21 right?
Great video, but it's unfair to put everyone at the same category, weigh and size matters. It'd be great a video scaling the best of each weight category 😅
Wo genau trainierst du in Österreich? Ich suche schon länger wo man das in Österreich machen kann, würde mich auf eine Antwort freuen!
Hi, in linz sind wir!
Kannsd mir auf insta schreiben - daniel memic
You forgot Devon. 20.5 ?
Geiles Video
I like how you used the league of legends borders for this video
In some match someone won and some other match someone will win, can't rank them properly because some guy skip some arm wrestlers. Some are active, some are not.
Welp, gotta move Revas up the list. Possibly to 20. He looked extremely impressive against Dave.
number 19, Wagner Bortolato 150 kg
Laratt just murdered your gasparini
I can proudly keep myself at 12 or 12.5 💪🤝🏻
My first thought is that i only need to be 20 times stronger to be a top arm wrestler, obviously is not that easy but when put like that it sounds possible.
above all of them are ofc jerrys and bagents egos
I can’t even beat Barbora
Young Ermes was crazy.
That comparison is why i wanted to make this vid, just insane
It's like comparing the different stars in the universe
Where does people like Khaleed, Larry wheels, Schoolboy rank at?
All of them between 10 and 13 i guess
I believe there are theoretically possible levels way above even Levan.
Just imagine a natural giant like Andre the Giant with giant bone structure and hands, perhaps even make him a bit bigger and robust to max out that stat.
Then give him that defect Oleg Zhok got from birth with the condition Jeff Dabe has.
Then make him take all the best PEDs for 10 years with optimal armwrestling training and optimal diet.
What you would get is something straight out of a comic book. Weirdly shaped hands the size of a man's torso with forearms the size of the biggest bodybuilder's leg.
He would be so many power leves above anything we ever seem.
Even taking a guy very similar to Andre the Giant would be interesting to see for the sport.
Yeah now imagine pig's flying.
@@user-mg2dq4ty6c This is speculation about what is possible given enough time and genetic lotteries and flying pigs aren't.
Pigs could not fly even with advanced future genetic engineering.
Are substansces essential to compete at your level or are you natural?
I would put Prudnik to the lower super heavyweight guys
Yeah i thought a lot about it aswell
Epic
Great video, there only 1 thing I want to add. These levels are not concrete, meaning that even if you are lower than somebody in certain situations you can win. And also I want to add that, in my opinion, Kydyrgali Ongarbayev belongs to a higher level, he has beaten both Silaev and Kurdecha.
In their weaker form in the past. And at some point of level, everything is relative. Ongarbaev lost to Sasho. That said Sasho should placed higher than Silaev or Kurdecha? Not really works that way. And today Kurdecha and Silaev probably beat Ongarbaev, which is of course, not proven because there's no match. But if you think Kurdecha that lost to Ongarbaev is the same Kurdecha who beat Ermes, then it's ridiculous. They also leveled up and results from years ago doesn't really matter now. The score is still in their record for their career, but the outcome in today match should not based on 5 years ago match.
