This "Ermes weak against tall people" is nothing more than equating correlation and causation. He lost to Matt cos his hand was weaker, he fixed that in rematch. He lost to Kurdecha because it was a blatant strength mismatch. Kurdecha was a much bigger dude than him at the time. Ermes was losing center before he even lost hand. Then Ermes got gassed first. Kurdecha even gave him hook, Ermes was powerless too. It's not the height of opponent that made him lose. But guess what, last time they met, Kurdecha couldn't do anything to him in sparring. Same with Devon. Devon demonstrated far superior pronation and riser lifts. He was plain stronger in hand department. But despite that the cope started: it's because Devon is tall, Ermes is weak against "long levers". Ever since there are all sorts of stupid "long lever" arguments float around, e.g.: Devon is weak against long levers, Vitaly is a bad matchup for Devon. Long arms is NOT a style.

Laletin needs to start doing it full time. Driving a truck and being number one in the world in armwrestling at the same time, does not work

i think Ermes is very overrated and had a lucky streak the last 2 years. He beat Genadi who just came back after a 2 year break. He lost to Kurdecha He beat Arif who isnt even top 20 He beat Chaffee 1 month after he had his laletin match so not full power and that when his neck problems started again. If you rewatch that video chaffee had so many oppurtunitys to flop press him but didnt because he wasnt full power. Then he had the most impressive match against Levan BUT Levan fucked up his cycle and came in way to big causing him to lose a lot of oxygen even before the match started. Lastly he beat Jerry who is the most inconstistent armwrestler of all time. If Jerry was a little bit smarter and healthier he would be able to beat Levan His lose to larratt showed that he isnt a great armwrestler. Even Sandris made Larratt sweat a little bit but that was just a clean 3:0 for larratt Now coming to the Laletin match. I also think he will win. Even if laletin wins the hand match Ermes can fight in a flop and beat him. But i will never count Laletin out. He is a very unorthodox toproller, who is lethal outside of the straps and who also is very explosive for this weight class. I would not be suprised if he somehow beats Ermes.
