I'm a fan of SOME of GB product. I visited the distillery a couple years ago and found a lot of their product to be way to oaky but I recently tried a single barrel store pick near me and it was sensational. Only 3 years of aging so maybe that's the ticket to avoid the 2x4 across the face.
It’s not something I’ll go back to anytime soon. I suspect that over time, it’ll get better

wow, that is the DARKEST bourbon I've ever seen. definitely due to the second barreling. will have to see if I can get my hands on this up here in Canada. also agree that old Metallica is the best lol

The standard Garrison Bros is not for me at all. I'd say it is one of my least favorite whiskeys I have ever tasted.

I’m on the opposite side. I love all their bottles. From the small batch all the way to the top with the lacuna madre. Only one I’ve never got my hands on was the garrison hye rye
