Great video as always - love this type of video as it is nice to know how your kit works! Will be putting in an order soon enough. Many thanks...
Es magic
Great explanation and presentation as always, when you guys next racing
Latest race footage will be live tomorrow 6pm!
Ive seen a lot of map switches out there but i always asked myself this stupid question.
Does the cruise control still work?
Yes Cruise still works perfectly
I guess my question is can I choose NOT to install meth or is it an integral part of the tune.... understanding the benefit but can i have a tune without meth and with no risk of breaking the intake,,, whay kind of numbers can i "safely" expect from a max tune without the extra juice?
On the 992 800-820whp is where the power is without methanol.
@@esmotoruk Perfect, thank you!
Great video. What would happen if you forgot to turn the meth on and switched to map 4 and drove the car hard?
the ecu would know meth isnt running and will drop boost and timing for safety
As said above the ECU would pull timing back, it would be noticeable and you would definitely know to turn the meth guage on
Is it beneficial to run this map when road racing at the track? (Not drag racing)
We can cater different maps for our customers requirements. So for the track we can have a track specific map. Because our maps are completely custom, we can cater them to the customers specific requirements
Can we do on the fly map switching for 991 turbo?
Not as of yet, but not to say it’s not a possibility in the future
Along these lines, are there any products currently available that would allow for on-the-fly map switching for a 991 or even 997? Is the only option to reflash the ECU every time you want a different map? This 992 set up is killer, thanks for sharing!
@@nev997TTWe only have it available for the 992 at the moment.
I thought methanol breaks down aluminum.
Why that 992 cold start is only 5 secs?
We have coded it to reduce it. We can code the cold start as well as remove the soft limiter
